With almost everything they needed ready, Alex was taking the final step towards their new world, their chosen race. Though it was probably going to be a pretty easy choice to make, as they already had dreamed of what they would do if they had this chance. So as the screen came up they had already put in a specification as to the race they wanted to be.

The first is humans, then the beast kin, and lastly the beast man. Seeing you came from a world of solely humans, we obviously don't need to explain that, not that you're choosing human based on your specification. The beast kin are your typical mostly human looking beast descendants with different animal features like tails and ears. Lastly we have the beast man, this is the race that has all the features of their predecessors but are bipedal and humanoid, imagine a furries wet dream. While you do have several options to pick for your race, the more specific you choose the more expensive it gets. You have two options, there are more in each category.

After thinking over their options for a moment, Alex already knew what their answer would be. Not wanting to waste points on getting a specific race, and not wanting to look completely like a cat, they chose the Cat Kin race. They decided that if they got something better that they would leave it up to fate and luck. Having chosen everything, it was finally time for them to reincarnate and so they did.

[As you reincarnate into Amudin you need to keep in mind the important detail that you will not have full access to your system until the age of five. This is due to the fact that, first we don't want you to harm yourself, as we've seen with many reborn people. Almost instantly Alex felt like they were in a vast, but also warm and comfortable space, very quickly though it became apparent how easy it was to get tired in this form though. Whatever was happening was taking a lot of their energy and they quickly fell asleep. After waking up again, they felt that the space around them had shrunk a little bit, but they knew that they were likely growing. Over the next few months this happened in a continuous cycle, waking up and falling asleep. Eventually they filled the whole space, as they could feel the comfortable embrace all around them. At a certain point of time they could tell that they were reaching a breaking point, and their heartrate started to speed up. This simple function, along with the release of a few hormones, just like normal caused their mother's contractions to start, which they could feel all around them. After a long period of labor Alex was finally able to feel the gentle summer breeze around them, so at least it wasn't cold. At that time everything seemed to fluctuate in volume, going twenty percent louder and then softer, and everything in the area seemed more humid that it was before. Not only that but a particular phenomenon of gender switching associated with people like her was also occurring.

Now this may not have been to noticeable to Alex, but to everyone else there they were in utter shock. Not about the switching, as it happens with one in a thousand people but with the two other things. They had heard stories about these things happening, like the surroundings heating up right after birth and they will have a special physique. The last record that was spread was so long ago they couldn't even say how rare it was. Not only had Alex shown signs of a sound physique like they also showed signs of the Law Body Physique of Water, what luck! Thankfully after initial discovery it wouldn't show these signs again until reaching higher cultivation. After overcoming their moment of shock, they finally got to naming Alex, and as if by divine intervention they maintained their same name, Alex Davis.

Unknown to Alex, everyone in the room decided that it would be best to keep the knowledge of their physiques from them. It was incredibly sensitive information, especially considering how loose the lips of most children are. So they decided that once they were old enough that they would talk to them about it. Oh the irony though, as it wasn't actually or truly a child in that body, but someone reborn from a qi-less world. A world where the only sapient race was the human race, and magic and cultivation were the things of fantasy. Their caution was unnecessary though, because as soon as Alex was put down they opened their system to see their status, and saw the new additions.

Alex was ecstatic about the addition of the water physique that they got by sheer luck, though it seemed that they were born as a normal catkin. That was okay by them though, as it would make their rise that much more epic. They were on their way to make a legend, and it would echo for eons.
