Standing in front of a mirror is standing who seems to be a young adult man, with a very feminine appearance due to the make up. In actuality though they are quite different from most people, they're gender is fluid, or should I say she? Today is one of the days that she identifies as a woman. So after getting ready she looks into the mirror with determination. Taking a deep breath and slapping her hands to her cheeks she exclaims, while adjusting their voice to better fit their identity, "Okay Alex, today is the day you do this, today is the day you tell your family. If they don't accept you as you are that's on them, I am gender fluid, and I am pansexual. If they don't like that then they can kiss my indecisive ass."
Alex laughs a little bit at the joke she made about her identity, but behind that is the fear they won't accept her. Finally, she is hyped up enough to be able to come out to her family. Alex is of a lithe build, she is on the lower end of the healthy weight. She prefers to keep her hair longer so she can make an easier differentiation with her gender in her hair, though makeup also does the trick. She has a very pretty purple hair color, it's her favorite color, and bright emerald eyes that drag people in.
Feeling nervous about the whole situation and needing to decompress for a little bit, Alex goes back to her room and pulls out a relatively small case from her closet. Opening the case she sees a smooth black metal, shimmering lightly in the light of the room. Sliding her fingers across the surface she delicately pulls it out of the case. Now get your mind out of the gutter you delinquents, it is not a metal dildo, its a saxophone. To be specific from the case same a small Soprano Saxophone. From the case she case she grabs a small piece of bamboo wood cut into the form of a reed. Sticking it in her mouth she lets it soak there for a minute to it can freely vibrate as she plays for the next little bit. Once it is ready she precisely places it on the mouthpiece, the reed stopping just a little before the end. After putting on the neck she puts the mouthpiece on the saxophone and after moving it a few times to the right spot on the cork she turns on a few karaoke tracks to her favorite songs. By now she knows the melodies to these songs by heart, not only that but also how the cords progress perfectly. With her years of practice she has her fun with doing improv on the songs, with different variations on the melodies. After about an hour she can't play much anymore, as her jaw is tired from keeping good technique to stay in toon for so long. After putting away the reed, she drops small string with a weight on it through the saxophone and after grabbing the weight she pulls the wash rag at the end of it through the saxophone to keep it clean. After doing that several times and doing the same with the mouthpiece she puts it away and closes the case.

Ready to get on to the more difficult part of her day, she puts on her shoes, takes a deep breath and walks out the door. When her first foot touches the ground outside her door, she gets a strange feeling she won't make it back home tonight. Unable to shake the thought she goes back in grabs her saxophone and brings it out to her car with her. Getting in the drivers seat she places the case onto the passenger seat next to her. It's a beautiful late spring day at the beginning of June, and many of the trees have finally revived from winter. Even with the great weather and the sun just past its peak providing her comfortable warmth, she can't help but feel something bad will happen day, making her even more nervous about her family. Taking another breath she turns the ignition and with a gentle rumble the engine comes to life for her.
To take her mind off of the ominous feelings she opens up her Spotify and starts one of her more upbeat playlists to take her mind off of it. On her drive she passes through a valley, and after half an hour through the valley she reaches the freeway and is homeward bound from then on. After another forty five minutes she finally reaches her families house for Sunday dinner. For a moment she parks out of sight just a little down the street and repeats what she said earlier, "Okay Alex, today is the day you do this, today is the day you tell your family. If they don't accept you as you are that's on them, I am gender fluid, and I am pansexual. If they don't like that then that is on them."
After saying it a few more times Ales puts my car back into drive and pull up to and into my parents driveway. Taking another deep cleansing breath she turn the ignition again, this time the engine coming to a stop, put the saxophone under the seat and locks the car after exiting it. Afterwards she starts her way up the steps to the porch and walk into the house through the front door.
