Lying unconscious for a while I felt a sudden wet slap of my left arm. It felt awfully familiar to that made me think of a little furry creature. I "opened" my eyes to see what's happening.
The sky still had a black tint, but I could see the orange hue of the sun. It's still dark here but for some reason I could see clear as day. Night vision? I asked myself.
Wait no! Something's near! But that thought was quickly replaced by the sense of danger after I heard a growl. I raised my body quickly and saw a pack of dark scaled lizards.
They were as big as a half my height and acted like canines. Their sharp teeth showed hostility as we went into a standoff. What the heck is it now? I can't take a break! Crap, they've begun to move! I lamented as they began to position themselves. There were at least five of these creatures and they began to encircle me.
I'm not in the best condition yet. I still feel tired. If I fight I'm not sure I can win unscathed. I still don't know quite well what my body is capable of, what should I do? Surrounded by a pack of lizard-dog creatures I tried to think of an idea to not engage into combat with them.
While I was trying to think about what I should do something kept tickling my mind. It was the feeling of being in the same situation before, déjà vu? Huh? If what I'm feeling is correct, I need to— And with that thought I trusted myself and rush in! The creatures had already gone into their positions while I was thinking of a plan.
I determined that I couldn't avoid engaging in combat and the best way to win in this situation is to make as much one versus one scenarios. and with that simple plan, I didn't hesitate anymore and faced the enemy head on.

“Mama, I don't want to!” I screamed at Mama. She wanted me to wear the stuffy clothes that give me itches every time. “Come on now, Tina, don't struggle.” Mama said, as she forcefully put on the stuffy clothes. “I don't like it *sniff! sob!*” I shed some fake sobs and tears for my final weapon but it didn't work at all and soon enough, I began to feel itchy.
“Mama, why do I need to wear this stuffy clothes? Why do we need to leave? I don't like it…” I asked Mama as I scratched my itchy side. Mama looked at me with a sad expression as I could see her eyes water. Is Mama crying? Why is Mama crying? Did I make Mama cry? I don't want to see Mama cry. Am I bad? I—I— I cried. And so did Mama, she didn't tell me the reason why, but I didn't ask anymore. I didn't want to see my Mama cry tears.

A few hours went by and a man came to our house. “Trenna have you finished packing? The others are already waiting.” I heard the man say. He was Uncle Gerald and everyone calls him "Chief". Uncle Gerald is smiling all the time and this time wasn't an exception but something about Uncle Gerald's smile made me feel sad. everyone became sad for a while now and everywhere I go in the village someone is crying. Everyone is making me sad
Mama just nodded and took two big bags filled with our stuff. “Let me.” Uncle Gerald said as he took the two bags from Mama. Then Mama picked me up and carried me in her arms. I hugged Mama as she hugged me, as we began to leave the house. Mama is warm. I don't know where or why we're going but I don't want to see Mama sad anymore.
We then sat on one of the many carriages, I haven't seen many carriages lined up like this before, and all of them have lamps that light up the whole place and bags piled covered with cloth. I saw many of my aunties, and friends in the carriages but the uncles seem to not be present. Uncle Gerald came to us and said something in front of everyone.
“Everyone, I will do my utmost best to make sure you and every men return back to the village. So for now stay safe and farewell. ” And with that Uncle Gerald held his hand near his heart and kneeled.
The carriage column began to move as everyone began to cry. Mama too, she teared up as she and everyone stared back at the village. She didn't look away till the very last light could be seen from the village. Mama hugged me all the while and I hugged her back. Somehow the itchy clothes didn't itch as much anymore as we left our homes.

This… Why does this feel familiar? It feels like I've seen this before? After I managed to kill the first creature by slashing its throat. A holographic tablet appeared in front of me. And as if I had always known, sparse knowledge about this appeared in my head. A long forgotten memory or implanted knowledge, I instinctively thought of it to, disappear, and with that it did. Like a broken monitor, it glitched out of reality.
While I was distracted a creature behind me attacked and soon followed the others in front of me. Their attacks were straight forward like the one I fought last time, but unlike the turtle one, these guys are more fragile though still quite fast, but a single hit from me can seriously injure them.
I managed to dodge an attack that came from the front and countered another but the attack from behind managed to land. Thank god, it only dealt this much. I got bit near my shoulder but instead of being gravely injured, thankfully most of the attack bounced off but, only leaving some deep bite marks and impact damage which did hurt.
My body has changed into something armored and every major part of me has a shining exoskeleton with flesh in between gaps.
The creatures began to back off but their eyes were still on me. Yeah back off, pussies! wait— But something felt wrong. Red dots from everywhere began to appear. The creatures had two sets of eyes which glowed red in my vision and saw at most 40 sets of eyes. Y-you gotta be kidding me…
