(Louise's POV)

My class went to the yard to go trought the gamiliar summoning ritual, where we from the secon year will summon our familiars that will stay with us for the rest of our lives. I decided to be the last one to summon a familiar, for no special reason. Everybody is giving their attention to Tabitha and Kirche.

Tabitha summoned a Mistic Dragon and Kirche summoned a salamander. Both of them extremely rare. But i'm sure that i will call a good famiiar too, a very strong one. I have to. Everyone from our class watch me as i strecth my wand foward and recite the words of summoning.

(Louise): "Come forth, being that will serve me, show yourself in your full power!"

Then a magical circle appears on the ground in front of me. I look shocked at it, magic circles are things that only the archmages from the kingdom are able to use it in it's full effects. And then, the soft glow from the magic circle glowed strongly, blinding me for a second.

When my vision came back, standing where the circle should be, was a boy. He isn't older then 16 years, handsome, with night black hair that goes almost to his ankles. The thing that most got my attention on him were his eyes. His eyes were like living flames, an vivid dark orange, with a hint of yellow, like fire.

His clothes are black, with some grey parts and torn at the edges, a simple long sleeved shirt and black pants. He's barefooted for some reason. I can't say that he looks like a commoner tought, his body is strong, but lean. I can say that as the shirt is a bit tight on his chest and his arms are almost ripping the sleeves.

He looked confused for a moment, and then, stared at the sky. When he did that, he seemed to be even more confused and shocked.

(Hollow): "Quid est hoc? Ut non sit ex Sole caeli vidi solem tenebris transtulit mori...(How this is possible? There shouldn't be a sun on the sky, i saw the sun die as the darkness took over...)"

(Louise): "What? What kind of lenguage is that?"

He the looked at me, confused. He tilted his head.

(Hollow): "Puella? Pink capillos ... numquam aliquid tale. ... Non possum nec ab anima maledicta aptus.(A girl? Pink hair... i never saw something like that. I can't feel the curse from her... nor a soul force too.)"

Looks like he can't speak my lenguage. well, i don't care, since i already summoned him as my familiar. I approach him, with my face getin slightly hot. Why that to seal the familiar contract we have to kiss the familiars? Why i had to summon a human? As i got close to him, i notice how he's tall.

He's around 1,80 meters tall, maybe a bit more. Since i'm around ,145 meters, my face is in the height of his chest. I grab his neck and pull him down a bit. He doesn't resist and i lightly kiss his lips. I release him and step back. i can't blush, i can't blush, i can't blush! I'm a noble and he is my familiar! This kiss doesn't mean anything! Even if it was my first!

He then looks confused at me for a second. Then, something that i never saw before happened. A magic circle appeared under him, and then, a strong wave of lightning comes out from it, hitting him. Then, some of the energy concentrates on his right had, engraving something on it.

With that, the circle disappear, and he falls on the ground, fainting. Dammit! I must take him to the infirmary and call a teacher!

(Hollow's POV)

I woke up, laying on a bed. A bed... how many time has been since i last slept in one. No! Stop thinking like this. I wasn't like this. Anyway, i look around me, and notice two rows of beds. This place... and medical ward? Why... oh!m yeah, i passed out due pain. Man, that lighning sorcery did hurt quite a bit.

Maybe i got unused to pain? Well, no metter. Anyway, what is this place? Where am i? I'm certain that i saw a sun on a blue sky, and even now, in this white room, i can see daylight coming from a window. Also, that pink haired girl, i never saw something like that.

I touch my chest, and there i can feel pendants under my clothes. Good, they're stil with me. I sit up. I'm dressed on my magical thread clothes. I used to wear this clothes under my armor, but it seems that my armor rusted away huh. Let me see, i have an separeted space where i can store away items.

I focus a bit, and now i'm able to take a look inside my separated space. Oh, all of my items, wepons, armors and shields are intact! Wait, if i remember, the time shouldn't walk foward inside it. Well, better then be without any kind of wepon. Also, i have a lot of legendary items and equipement.

I moved a bit, siting on the corner with my feet touching the ground. Then, i notice how my hair is long. and when i say long, i say very, VERY long. It's almost touching my ankles. Man, i do like my hair a bit long, but this is simply ridiculous. I will have to cut it later, i still have a dagger on my "inventory".

Then, the door of the medical ward opened, and a bald guy around his 40-45 appeared from it. He looked at me surprise for a moment before smiling and say:

(bald): "Oh, vous êtes déjà éveillé?(Oh, you're already awake?)"

Again that strange lenguage.

(Hollow): "I can't understand you, you know?"

He looked at me confused for a moment, before smiling again. Then, he took a stick from inside his clothes. Is that a catalyst? I can feel energy from it, but it's different from any kind of energy that i felt before. Then he pointed it at me and said something in a lenguage different from the one from before.

I couldn't feel hostility from him, so i didn't do anything. Then, a soft light covers me for one second.

(bald): "This should work. Can you understand me now?"

(Hollow): "Yes, i can. What kind of sorcery is that? It's the first time that i see something like that."

(bald): "Sorcery? Oh, do you mean the universal lenguage spell? Well, no urprise you didn't knew it, since i created it and only three people in the world are able to use it, including me."

Spell? I see, it's some kind of magic different from sorcery. In this case, tis place should be beyond the abyss, like another word different from mine. That circle of light nust have brought me here.

(Colbert): "Anyway, my name is Jean Colbert. I'm a teacher here on the Independet Magical Academy. Everyone calls me by Colbert, so feel free to call me in any way you want."

Name huh? Well, i don't remeber my name, so i will use one of the nicknames that i got on my travels.

(Ilua): "I see... then, if you don't mind it, i will call you by Colbert. My name is Ilua. You can think of me as a wandering warrior. It's a pleasure to meet you."

So i'm on a magic academy, huh? I've only been on the school on Vinheim. I also learned a lot of sorceries there, actually. They have a lot of good teachers, altought some of them are very arrogant. Well, were, since i doubt that the school still exists.

(Colbert): "I see, Ilua then. May i ask you something?"

(Ilua): "Sure, ask at will."

(Colbert): "Do you know why you are here?"

(Ilua): "No, not even a bit."

(Colbert): "So, are you angry that you were brought here against yout will?"

(Ilua): "Actually, i'm not. Don't worry about it."

(Colbert): "I see, that's and relief."

(Iua): "Colbert, may i ask you something?"

(Colbert): "Sure, go ahead."

(Ilua): "Why i am here?"

(Colbert): "Oh, that. You see, in this school, we have the tradition of summoning familiars during the scholarship period. The students of the second year summon a familiar that will help and protect them forever. Also, they always come with an affinity with their summoner. One exemple is if you have fire affinity, you will summon an fire spirit, like a salamander, a fire wolf, etc."

(Ilua): "I see... so, why i was summoned? I'm sure that i'm very alive to be an spirit, and i'm not any kind of elemental creature."

(Colbert): "Unfortunately, i'm also unable o think in a solution for this problem. What happened when you were summoned, a magical circle appeared and from there you were summoned. It's a complete mistery..."

(Ilua): "I see."

Well, no problem. I will bein a new life here, since this place is full of light and living things. Maybe i will also be able to eat delicious food! Why i'm thinking that? Well, i'm a imortal, so i don't need to eat. And also, there wasn't any cattle since there wasn't any kind of animal that could be eaten anymore.

Also, the fruits that grow in the ashes have horrible tastes. I'm excited to test new food.

(Colbert): "Ilua, i have a favor to ask."

(Ilua): "What kind of favor?"

(Colbert): "Our student, Louise, was the one that summoned you. Altought it is a strange thing to ask, as well something that shouldn't be asked, i would like to ask you to be her familiar."

(Ilua): "What do you mean?"

(Colbert): "We, from the school, would like you to be her familiar, of course, we will give our support for you, like wepons, potions, etc. Of course, if you refuse, we won't do anything and transport you to the closest city or a capital at your choice."

I see. This is interesting... i would lke to explore this world, but i don't think that i would be able to enter this academy again. Also, being her familiar can have it's advantages. The support from this academy will be very useful. Also, there isn't anything better for gathering informatin then a academy that teaches magic.

(Ilua): "I accept your offer."

Colbert smiled.

(Clobert): "Thank you very much!"
