Chapter 1.2

"Good luck, little one. I'm truly hoping you'll survive in this world. I'd be in quite a predicament if you were to meet an early demise," Neira, the Goddess of Time and Space, murmured, her eyes fixed on Alexander as she watched through a magical mirror.

"A new toy?" a deep and thunderous voice resonated within Neira's Sanctuary. "Well, yes, I was bored. And what brings you here to the Divine Sanctuary, Rejikh?" In response, a towering figure emerged into view, its scales as red as freshly spilled blood. With massive wings that could be mistaken for a wall, the figure exuded an imposing and regal aura. Rejikh, the Dragon God and creator of all dragons in the new world, stood before Neira. "Is it a crime to visit an old friend? You were the one who invited me here in the first place. Tell me, oh almighty Neira, what are you scheming?"

Neira discreetly concealed her magical mirror and turned her attention to Rejikh. "It's a simple request—could you send Larcosta to my toy's location?" Her smile, though as enigmatic as ever, carried a hint of something sinister this time.

"Are you trying to kill that new toy of yours? Larcosta, though weaker compared to his kin, is still a Dragon King. A mere human won't last long alone with such a creature," Rejikh countered. While he was familiar with Neira's sadistic tendencies, he sensed an underlying complexity in their current conversation. "Fine, I'll send Larcosta. Just don't blame me if your fragile toy ends up dead." With a motion akin to someone making a call on a device, Rejikh complied, but his reservations were clear. "Thank you, my dear Rejikh. Now, join me and witness the unfolding of events," Neira said with gratitude laced in her voice, a sense of anticipation underlying her words.

The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.

"You see, I still believe in evolution. I'm hoping this time my aspirations will bear fruit. That kid is unlike anyone else; he possesses considerable potential. And should his powers awaken in this encounter, he might ascend to Godhood in the shortest time conceivable," Neira shared a fragment of her intricate plan with Rejikh.

"Godhood? Please don't tell me you intend to resurrect..." Rejikh's words trailed off, his expression a mix of concern and resignation. He sighed and continued, "Whatever your intention is, Neira, don’t overdo it."

Sitting beside Neira, Rejikh joined in watching Alexander's progress through the magical mirror. Awe flickered across the Dragon God's features as he beheld the unfolding events. Rejikh possessed a unique vision that allowed him to perceive the latent potential within creatures, and as he observed Alexander, a profound well of untapped power unfurled before him—a chasm that seemed bottomless. The sight left Rejikh momentarily speechless, his mouth agape. However, that awe soon transformed into an exuberant smile, brimming with excitement. "You've truly outdone yourself! HA HA HA HA!" Rejikh's rumbling laughter reverberated throughout the sanctuary, his enthusiasm for Alexander's journey evident.

Neira returned the dragon's smile, her own delight evident in her gaze. "Indeed, Rejikh. Now, let's revel in witnessing my 'toy's' struggles."
