“I’m glad. Anyway, what do we need to buy?”

When she asked me this, I looked at the list once again. We needed to buy simple things. Some chocolate, sugar, flour… Things like this. We didn’t need to buy many of them anyway. I thought that a bakery would need more sugar.

“Some simple things needed to bake sweets. Let’s just walk through the city to find them, okay?” I said, and she nodded.

Ahh… You have eaten our dreams Mikori. What will I tell our children? What will I say, when they ask me “why we don’t have a house?”. Why Mikori!?

“Anyway Ryan, I wanted to ask you one thing.” I heard Mikori’s voice, as we were walking. “Why do you want to become this “NEET”?”

When I heard it, I looked at her. Is she stupid?

It took her some time, to think about it. Well, it’s not like my question was simple.

“I think that it might be…” she finally said.

“Mikori, did you heard yourself?! Are you sick?!” I shouted, and she looked at me with angry eyes.

As I was thinking about those things, I approached a shop. It caught my attention, because on the black roof there was a sign saying “Everything you need to bake a chocolate bun, and other things you might do. But mostly sweets, you know…”

I looked at the shop one more time. It was a big shop, with black roof, and big windows. Behind them, I could see many shelves full of flour, sugar, and other ingredients.

“Let’s just buy what we need, and go back.” I said, and the girl nodded.

I was tired. I was tired after taking her to eat ice cream. I was tired after walking through this city. I was tired because of this “date”. Everything made me so tired. I just want to rest… Wait! Do we need to work after we come back?!

“Okay Ryan!” Mikori replied, and entered the building. I just went after her.

When I did, I was greeted by a big shop. It had many things in it, and one of them was a small girl with pointy ears. She was maybe thirteen, with blonde hair made into a bob, and big blue eyes. She looked cute, really cute.

But is she an owner of this shop? Why is she wearing an apron? Why is she taking care of this shop? What is this place?

“You want buy something? If not, get out!” she said, with a weird accent.

I looked at her. Should I be angry?

“We want to buy something, we not leave!” I replied, and she looked at me with anger.

“You make fun of me?! This language stupid!”

“I don’t make fun! I make business!” as I said those things, Mikori looked at me with weird eyes.

What? Did I do something wrong? Isn’t it normal to bully children in this place? I thought that this is normal!

“Whatever! Just make fast!” little girl said, and looked elsewhere.

Is it really my live after getting reborn into another world?! Am I really going to bully small children that run their own shops?! Are you sure that you don’t want to give me a special skill, or a weapon!?

As I thought about those things, I walked through the shop. It had many shelves in it, with white bags, that were signed in a weird language.

“Sugaro? Do you think we need this Ryan?” Mikori asked me.

“I think we need. Also, take the “chocolatoe”, and “this weird bronze thing”” I replied, and the little girl looked at us with angry eyes.

What is wrong with you?! Don’t you like it when people buy from you?!

“How many “sugaro” do we need?”

“Two bags Mikori! Don’t forget the “chocolatoe”!”

“Okay!”

After taking sugaro, and chocolatoe to the counter, I took out the money.

“How much do we pay?” I asked, and the girl looked at me.

“You pay more, because you bully!”

Wait! What!? What are you talking about!? You can’t do things like that!

“Do you think that I won’t go to another shop!? The will sell me “sugaro” for half the price!”

“S-Shut up! You stupid! Stupid!”

“You are stupid, you… you… you bob-head!” I said, and the girl looked at me with watery eyes. Did I do something wrong?

“Ryan! Shut up! Can’t you be…” Mikori tried to say something, but was interrupted by this little girl.

“You stupid! You stupid! You pay more!” she cried, and I looked at her.

I knew many things. I have lived my life as NEET, so I know how to trade with other people. Once I bought an anime pillow for half the price, because I knew what to say. This is the kind of person I am, so there is no way I will may more. Yeah, just observe…

I was walking through the city, with bags of sugar, and other things in my hands. They were heavy, but I didn’t care. I didn’t care, because there was something else on my mind.

“It’s your own fault Ryan. If you didn’t bully her, then you wouldn’t need to pay more.” Mikori said, as she walked before me.

Why is she carrying less stuff? Because I am a man?! We have the same strength!

“You didn’t help much Mikori. We could always find a different shop.” I replied, and she looked at me.

“Don’t try to shift the blame on me! It’s good that you paid for your own mistakes!”

Ehhh… We used all the money this old woman has gave us. Every vlawnia we got.

As I entered the “Best sweets in Flark” I sighed.

“Oh, you came back? Something good happened?” old lady asked, and smiled in a weird way.

What are you even talking about?! You are sick!

“I don’t want to talk about it…” I replied, and put the bags on the ground.

I just want to sleep! I am a NEET, not a worker!

“Hmmm? And you Mikori? How did it go?”

I looked at the girl, that was now looking at the old lady. For some reason there was a smile on her face.

“Well, I guess it wasn’t that bad.” she said in a cheerful voice.
