On the street of Ice Fortress, Maria is standing on the street and holding her cute daughter Ria in her hands. Ria, who is wrapped up by dark cloth, is looking at her mother while smiling. Maria smiles back at her too, with a cute smile. But behind Maria, there are dozen or so dead men, all ripped apart with their flesh dangling in their body parts and their blood, dying the streets red. People around them have mixed feelings: there are those, who Are completely unfazed about it and those, who are shocked. And like that, it can easily say which is a local and who is a visitor.

"Back to home."Maria says and starts walking away from the scene, without any remorse.

"What was that? Why are so many people so calm?"a man in his twenties asks, while looking around.

"Son."an old dog beastman says"That what happens when you try to approach her."

"Huh."the man says and then turns around to look at the old beastman."Who is she, that she can do it without any consequences ?"

"Former assassin without any empathy. She will kill you on spot, If you annoy her. But it seems, that she has a kid now. I wonder who actually managed to get close to that woman."the beastman mutters, before slowly walking away, "Assassins run this place. They do what they want."the old man says while walking away, leaving the confused man there.

Maria continues to walk back home, when she stops, as she can feel the very familiar presence approaching this direction.

"Foxy."she mutters in a happy tone and then proceeds to walk faster, to get ready for his arrival.

As for Nevada, he had left the Monastery a month ago and was finally starting to close in on  the cold lands, on which his home lays. Next to him, is obvious Tania, who is wearing a heavy coat, compared to his regular clothes. Unlike him, Tania was raised in a warm place and never seeing snow before. So this was also her first time seeing snow.

"It's cold."Tania tells him in sign language, to which, he replies"Well thats obvious. Better get used to it."

He rubs her head and they start walking together. As they walk through the snowy road, they see a man coming towards them. At first, both of them ignore him, but as he gets closer, Nevada notices something on that mans face. A white mark on the right side of his face, with the same designs as his. The moment he notices that, Nevada stops to look at him. At first, Tania doesn't understand why they stopped, but when she sees the same mark as her husband, she understands it.

As for the man himself, he stops in front of them and says"So you are the bastard i have to kill. Fine. Lets get it on."

And without any more words, he appears before Nevada and is about to stab Nevada, only to get stabbed himself and have his hand grabbed hold of by Nevada.

"You seriously are stupid."Nevada mutters and pushes the man away and letting him drop onto the ground. The snow is starting to be painted red by his blood, sa he takes his last breaths. Nevada just looks at him, while Tania is cleaning the blade in her hands.

He turns to look at Tania and asks"When did you even take it?"

"When we married."she replies to him.

"Okay."he casually replies and motions her to move with his head.

And like that, they walk away from the idiot who tried to kill him right now. The man dies from bloodlost soon after they disappears from his sight.

'Was this even an attempt to kill me. If it was, he had no idea about my background and just decided to blindly kill me. That was honestly the dumbest thing I had ever seen.'Nevada thinks while walking with Tania.

Few days pass and the two have finally reached the Ice Fort. The have entered the first gate and before going towards the other, Nevada tells her"Could you stay in town for an hour or so. I have to explain our situation to her."

Tania just nods to him and goes her way. As for Nevada, he takes a deep breath and walks towards the second gate, which he easily opens once again, after being away a year. Because he doesn't want to deal with her mothers right now, because she doesn't want to let Tania wait for long, he decides to go straight to his room, from outside. He does this by turning himself into snow and then moving towards his window, which is conveniently open.

Entering the room, he sees Maria working on something while facing him with her back. So, he turns back, and is immediately sitting on the bed.

"Hey Wolfy!"he says and sees, how she turns around with a small wolf beastkin in her hand.

"Foxy! You're finally back."Maria says in a happy tone and then, introduces the girl"This is Ria, our daughter."

"Huh?"
