Through the small gap between the curtains, a beam of sunlight shined through the window and into the room. And that very same beam, happened to hit Nevedas head, who himself was peacefully sleeping. It didn't take a long time for him to start shutting his tightly together, but it didn't work out that well for him and so, he opened his eyes and looked around the room. Hid eyes automatically moved to the curtains and was blinded by the light. This caused him groan a little and turn his head away from the window.

On that side, he saw Tanias sleeping face in front of him. Her arms were tightly holding his body and her legs on top of his. Her face itself looked cute, innocent and so defenceless, meaning she truly felt safe with him here. This scenery right now truly felt romantic, but it was then ruined by a sudden loud sound coming from the training area.

So when Nevada heard that, he immediately jumped up from the bed and grabbed his pants to put on.

"I'm gonna go check it out."he told Tania, who he accidentally had woken up and then left her there to rub her eyes.

As for Nevada, he rushed through the corridor and reached the place where the sound was heard. So opening the door, he immediately saw a small dust cloud and heard other kitsunes also coming to check out what had happened.

"[Push]"Yre, who had also just come out, chants and pushing all of the dust away with the wind. Now everyone walks up to the hole that was revealed and in it, they see a figure of a disfigured Kitsune.

"Arthur!!!"Yre yells out in a tragic tone and immediately jumps down into the hole to pick him up.

'Arthur...Is that really my Father?'Nevada asks himself in his mind while looking at Yre, who is taking Arthurs body away.

"Who was that?"one of the students asks out loud and Elane, who also is here, answers"That was Arthur. My brother and his dad."

She explains and points at Nevada, causing multiple pair of eyes fall on him.

"What?"Nevada asks them.

Nothing is answered and they just scatter away, leaving only him and his aunt there.

"I'll go with Yre."Elane says and follows after her mother, leaving now only him there. Like the others, he is also about to leave, but then a familiar stench invades his nose. So he turns around and walks over to the source of it: the red blood on the ground. He crouched down and dips his fingers into the blood for a second and then bringing them up to his nose. He takes a quick few sniffs and then mutters"Fuck."

A few hours later, in a larger room, Yre is looking after her son, while her daughter is helping her. Arthur himself is laying on a bed while the two work around him, trying to heal him.

"Is he gonna be okay?"Elane asks her mother, who replies"Honestly...I don't know. He has severe mana depletion and he lost a lot of blood. Five of his tails are missing and the other four are damaged beyond any kind of way to restore them. Meaning he has lost a lot of his strength. It's a miracle he could even teleport. There is also his missing ear, meaning his hearing will be bad. There are also his hands, which he seemingly chewed off assuming from the wound. Counting in all of this, it is sure that he will never use any kitsune powers. It would be impressive If he could keep using magic at all. Because that teleport has seriously ruined his body even further. So now, we can only hope he is strong enough and pray to the Fox God."

"Praying won't do anything."Nevada, who has entered the room without the two noticing him, comments.

"Watch your tongue brat."Elane tells him in a low voice.

"You two, Stop!"Yre tells them"Right now we have to take care of Arthur."She looks at her son and runs her hand down his cheek"So If you want to fight, do it later and somewhere else."

Elane makes a "hmph" sound and leaves the room. But before she leaves through the door, she gives one last angry glare at Nevada and then slams the door shut.

"I can see you didn't come here to check on him, so why did you come?"Yre asks in a serious voice and then turns around.

"Because of this."Nevada says and tosses Yre a small vile full of red liquid.

"This is blood. What of it?"She asks and looks at him.

"Smell it and you'll understand."he tells her and what she does then. Taking off the top, she breaths in the smell and immediately mutters"Thats not good?"

"I know."Nevada agrees.

"What about the rest of it?"she asks him

"I got rid of it."he replies.

"Okay. Thats good then. I believe you were quick enough."Yre comments and Nevada nods to that. His eyes move to his supposed father and he says"He probably didn't realize that he was infected with this virus, because it only activates when his blood comes in contact with the air for a few hours. I guess we are lucky that it has a such a flaw?"

"Yes we are."Yre answers and then asks him with a curious tone"You seem to know a lot about it. Why is that?"

"My mother is a Poison Master, so I obviously have read her books."

"And what about your other parent?"

"She taught me sword and knives."he replies.

"She?....So your parents are both woman... meaning... They are lesbians?"

"Is it really that strange?"he asks with a questioning face.

"In this part of the world, yes. I have never seen same sex couples."Yre tells him.

"Huh."comes out of Nevadas mouth and then, he says"Well I'll take my leave then. I have other things to do?"

"So do I."Yre says and turns around to take care of her son, while her grandson leaves the room.
