Vincent’s POV
“*Sigh* Yesterday was supposed to be a dinner with only Haruka but Grey suddenly interrupted it. I’ll make him pay for it.” I don’t hate Grey. Just because he’s always rejected by Haruka doesn’t mean that he needs to destroy my plans too. Maybe I’ll buy her something. I’ll give her a peace offering about her door because she’s the one who paid for the repairs. I guess I’ll ask Aria on what I can give her.
“Hey Aria!”
“What is it Vincent?” Aria didn’t bother to look at me. That’s okay. After all, she has a lot of paperwork piled up. I wonder where’s Alex. I haven’t heard I word from him.
“I’m going to give someone something. Since you’re a girl, I want to ask you what kind of things you like.” Aria stopped doing her work. She looked at me and she shook her head for a minute.
“I don’t think that Haruka likes what I like.” I haven’t anything and she knew.
“Hmmm... I don’t want her to get mad at me because I chose the wrong thing to give her.” Aria smiled and patted me in the shoulder.
“The thought counts, not the object. Give her anything that you think that will make her happy or you can just ask her. There are many ways to know what a girl truly wants...” Give her something that will make her happy.... I don’t want to ask her so maybe I’ll do something. I already have a plan in my mind.

“Who is it?” That angelic voice! The door opened and I saw an angel in front of me. She’s wearing nothing but a towel covering her body. Oh shit! Her breast are jiggling and her beautiful legs... This is too much for me! Why did she open the door looking like that? She’s lucky I’m the one knocking because if it was another guy, I don’t know what would happen to her. “Ah! Vincent! Wait here!” She closed the door. Thanks for the splendid vie- I mean for closing the door. She’s too sexy. I can feel a liquid running down from my nose. Damn! I can’t let her see me like this! Good thing I brought a handkerchief. I wiped down the blood and just after I finished wiping it, the door opened and Haruka is there wearing her black dress.
“Come in.” Where’s Shirley? Am I going to be alone with Haruka in her room?
“Vincent?” She looked at me like an innocent child.
“Oh sorry! Just thinking about some things...” I scratched the back of my head.
“Pffft!!! Hahaha! Looks like you have a problem!” I came in and she closed the door. *Gulp* Alone with Haruka in her room... Relax Vincent! Don’t get nervous! Don’t forget your objective! You’ve come here to invite Haruka out. Yes, I’m going to ask her on a date.
“So, what’s the problem Vincent?” She asked while cleaning the room.
“Uhm, are you free now?” She looked at me. I’m really nervous right now!
“Yes. You want me to do a request with you?” She continued cleaning the room.
“No. Can you do me a favor?” This is it......
“As long as I can do it.” The moment of truth...
“Can you go out with me?” Haruka looked at me and she’s doesn’t look happy! “-To buy something?” She looked away for a moment and she looked again at me.
“Sure. What are you going to buy?” Whew! Yes! She agreed! The gods haven’t abandoned me!
“Well, I’m going to give a girl a gift. I want to know your opinion on what I should buy her but don’t worry! I’ll buy you something you want if you help me.” Haruka’s eyes started to sparkle.

“Yo! What’re you two up to?” He appeared! The interruption master!
“Oh Grey! We’ll just buy something.” Haruka showed her most beautiful smile at Grey “Don’t follow us because if you do, I’ll kill you myself.” Haruka’s smile disappeared and the whole room suddenly reeked of killing intent. Scary!
“O-Ok! I’ll be on my way now! Sorry for bothering you!” Ah. He ran. The almighty Grey ran. I looked at Haruka. She’s smiling like nothing happened!
“Shall we get going?” She stood up and walked quickly. I should follow her.
At the City. “Hey Vincent! You want to give a girl a gift right? What kind of a girl is she?” She’s a beautiful, kind (for me), brave, Kinda scary, Weird (sometimes) and a funny girl.
“She’s just like you.” Haruka dropped what she was holding and she quickly grabbed it “L-Like me?” Hahaha! She’s too cute!
“yeah.”
“You like her?” She looks a little pissed.
“Maybe.” Let’s see what she’s going to say.
“I see... You like her. You know, if she sees me with you, it might cause a misunder-“
“She still doesn’t like me. I don’t even know if she will like me...” I suddenly feel down... Haruka patted my back and she pushed my head with her index finger “Idiot! Of course she will like you! Think positive!” I have a chance? Is she saying I have a chance with her? “You said it! I’ll make her fall for me so hard!” We explored every shop and in the end, I brought Haruka a lot of u-un-underwear.... Is she in need of underwears? She even bought it in front of me. She even asked me if I like them!!!

“Maybe.” Maybe? What kind of an answer is that? I need a clear one! I’ll make him spill it.
“I see... You like her. You know, if she sees me with you, it might cause a misunder-“
“She still doesn’t like me. I don’t even know if she will like me...” GIRL-SAN! PLEASE LIKE VINCENT! FOR THE SAKE OF THE WORLD AND FOR MY SAKE! I need to encourage Vincent! I patted his back and I slightly pushed his head with my forefinger “Idiot! Of course she will like you! Think positive!” That should do it! I’ll make sure that Vincent and the new girl will have a happy ending!

“You showed yourself two times now. Kyoura-sama told us to just watch her and not to talk to her whenever we want! One more and I’ll report it, understood?” Velcoz is really a strict one. He’s no fun! We’re in our hideout or rather the former hideout of the bandits we killed. It’s on top of a mountain.
“Yeah~! I understand~” I want to fight someone! I’m bored!
“!” I felt someone watching us just now.
“Velcoz!” He looked at me and he nodded.
“I felt it too but it quickly disappeared. We’re not the only ones here. Be on guard!” At last! Some action!
“I’m sure I felt it in that direction....” I pointed in a mountain.
“Check it but don’t fight. You can only fight if that’s the only way out.”
“[Demon gate 1: Murderer]” I transformed into a demon with a huge sword.
“You’re using the first gate? I guess you really intend to make a bloodbath there huh? I don’t mind as long as you succeed in annihilating those foolish creatures who dares to interrupt our mission.” I got the permission! Yahoo! I jumped off and he ran down the mountain. I’m excited! I really want to do some killing! I arrived at the spot where I felt the stare. I feel some presence but they’re faint. I need to sharpen my senses now.
“[Dragon instincts]” I can feel that there are seven of them.... two of them are hiding behind me. Those two are really frightened right now. The four are not that far and they’re guarding someone. I guess I’ll kill the two behind me quickly and I’ll head for the rest.
“Eat them.... Ranmaru!” My huge sword started to wiggle for a moment and it stopped and the blade slowly separated into two. There are two pieces of the blade now... Here comes the best part! The two pieces of the blade started to shake and teeth came out, a red eye appeared and the sword roared. He’s one of my favorite weapon. A sword that has a mouth. This sword is quite the big eater but it increases its power every time it eats.
“ROOOOAAAAARRRRRR!!!!!!!!” Seems like he’s pretty hungry.
“The food’s there Ranmaru. EAT.THEM.” My sword stretched and it opened its mouth.
“AHHHHH!!! W-what is that thing?! [Thunder blade]! [Barrier]! [Rock Guardian]!” One of the two guys came out and he casted spells. That won’t do.... You’re already Ranmaru’s food. A large blade-like thunder appeared and it tried to cut Ranmaru. You think that my sword can be easily cut by that shitty spell? It seems like they’re human. He’s wearing a robe.
“Ranmaru, absorb.” My sword stopped moving and it stared at the thunder blade.
“ROOOOAAAAARRRRRR!!!!!!” The thunder blade disappeared and a huge golem appeared. *sigh* just accept that you’re food now.
“Crush it.” Ranmaru bit the rock and he spewed it after chewing it. Seems like it wasn’t appetizing?
“Hiiiiiii! Help me here!” Really? What could the two of them do?
Ranmaru bit the guy and he searched for the other guy. The guy came out of hiding.
“Please! I give up! I don’t want to die!” Maybe you should’ve have think about that before you join whatever mission you’re in.
“Ranmaru. Eat him.” Ranmaru slowly opened his mouth.
“AHHHHHH!!! HEEEEELP!!!” The guy tried to escape but Ranmaru wouldn’t let him.
*Chomp*
Now, there’s still five left.... I could feel the four taking formation.
“Do whatever you want.... All of you will still end up as food for Ranmaru...” I dashed towards their direction.
“He’s coming!!! Prepare yourselves!!!” YEAH! PREPARE YOURSELVES! I stopped when I arrived. The four are humans but the other one.... He’s a bald one and he’s wearing normal clothing. He even has a sword which is bigger than mine. He’s a lot bigger than me... 200 cm? But I’m still more handsome than him, that’s for sure. He has a tattoo on his forehead. It’s a snake with a skull head and wings. I don’t know that... What group are they from?
“ATTAAACK!!!” The four started charging forward me so I let Ranmaru eat them.
“What is thi- AHHHH!!! My feet! Help me! He- ARRK!”
“Wha- AHHHHH-......”
“What is this monster- Noooo! AHHHHH!!!!!”

“Your mother!” *sigh* this guy is not going to answer. I just blocked all of his attacks and I didn’t bother to fight back. The bald man smirked and his speed suddenly increased.
“[Enchant: Speed up]” I’ll admit, he really got faster but it’s still not enough. Try harder.

“This is all what you’ve got? I’m disappointed!” This guy is really getting on my nerves. He thinks that he’s so strong. He hasn’t even landed a hit on me. I guess it’s time to finish this. I’m getting bored.

“I’ll be going now. Be careful always~!” I nodded and Aphrodite walked out of my room and Shirley came out of the bathroom.
“What did I miss?” A lot.
“Hey Taki, I know where Vayne and Kriz are. One of them is in the beastmen continent and the other one is in the demon continent....”
“Oi, is that true?” I nodded.
“We’ll leave after a week. Aphrodite said that Vayne and Kriz are fine and we don’t need to hurry.” Shirley glared at me.
“We don’t need to hurry?! Are you out of your mind?!” Relax. You don’t know what the meaning of what I just said.
“Chill. All Aphrodite is saying, we don’t need to hurry because we need to get strong first. We don’t know what dangers await us out there.” Shirley sighed and she apologized.
“It’s okay.” I went in the bathroom and after that I jumped straight to the bed.
