“As you ordered, outward teleportaion chambers have been shut down.”
“Did any problems prop up?” Revensol asked Arv while simultaneously juggling multiple other tasks that required his attention. Almost all of the power the nobility was contained in the top few Layers, whether it be their research laboratories or the places for entertainment, everything that they desired was available to them away from majority of the population that lived in the settlement. It did not mean other Layers had nothing, rather because just a few families controlled this almost million soul strong settlement, the powers they had on each floor was anything but scoffable, a power they used to enforce their authority.
As Harlev was carefully balancing the power of families on the top Layer, making sure none grew so strong or so weak that the balance would break. Making sure they would have been thoroughly exhausted before they have their actual move.
While Harlev was doing that, Revensol was keeping an eye on every situation that was playing out, issuing orders when required, guiding when required, all while he listened to Arv’s report.
He could have handed these tasks to other members and gone up to along with Harlev. It would have made the would thing much quicker but he had not for a very simple reason: the contract with Knrama. The reason Knrama made sure noone would interferer with their revenge. He had to unearth the things that the nobility had tired to erase, and with much skill at that but nothing could truly be hidden, especially in this maga structure housing nearly a million souls that kept record of everything.
It was an exhausting task, difficult, time consuming, mind nubbing, head pounding. It was not something he desired to waste his time on but had to do nonetheless. He had to keep his end of deal as Knrama had done his part.
“None, sir.”
“And the other thing I asked of you?”
“Everything is prepared, the moment someone infiltrates the teleporation station and tries to teleport away, they will sent to coordinates you provided.”
“Hmm… good. Go to the third Layer and take some men along with you. Smaller groups have started to merge to form a bigger force. Neutralize it before it starts becoming an actual problem.”
“As ordered.”
Once again he was alone, fully focused on the work before him. Occasionally he would move about his people as the situation required, slowly put surely reducing the forces of the noble families. All while he did that, he kept prowling though the endless amount of data that had no signs of ending. Never would he have thought he would be doing such a thing, not when he had resolved to enact his revenge. Not even before that, a time long ago when he had been a naive child.
Even then what he had thought of doing was something different, back then he only had one goal, to dive into the endless sea called knowledge and explore all that it offered, take in all its wonders, scratch his curiosities. But that was no to be. His dream had been smashed to pieces, his dreams of standing toe and toe with the giant of knowledge, the Seekers, forever out of his reach all because he had not been of the nobility, because they would rather kill than allow someone else to gain power.
The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
For a moment the memories came rushing but he did not resist. Maybe it was because he had become exhausted after connecting with this unending repository of knowledge that stored the stories of all who lived within the confies of the settlement. As the he remembered the long passed events, the cold flame buring in his heart, a flame that no longer made him impulsive, rather made him calm, focused, burnt even stronger.
His revenge was not to far away now.

Gound Layer,
Harvester Sub Sector,
Hospital.
As the stone-faced men left the room, Doctor Shedill let out a breath she had been holding in for a considerable amount of time. Though cultivationwise she was in higher stage then them but that was it. She was a doctor and a seeker, while they were battle hardened harvester, their aura’s when they had let them out for a moment, had promised violence. She had seen many considering her work but only a few had auras like their and among them was Inero-ie.
When they had aksed politely, she had not put up any resistance and told whatever she knew about Inero-ie which was not much, she found when she actually started talking. The only thing she knew about that boy was his physical condition, nothing more. Nothing other than that Fria-al was his guardian. The few things she did know was of the time when he had still not started his solo expeditions.
It was not strange. He only returned after many cycles, and even then for a week at most, but as she talked about the few thing she had, she wondered how her friend was able to keep carrying for that boy for such a long time.
Once the door slid close, she closed her eyes, taking slow breaths. Just because she was alway cooped inside did not mean she was unaware of what was transpiring outside at this moment. Rather she knew more than most would, with her connections to many harvesters spread across different Layers, she knew what was happening and that was why she had not put any resistance. What use was it to resist when they could easily gain the same information from many others.
‘Where is he, though? Hopefully he will have left by now but considering them searching for him means he is still here. That idiot! And where is Fria-al? She should have rushed over long ago. Is something happening on her side?’

“Reporting. The seal was undisturbed but we decided against forcefully making way in as it is unknow what defensive capabilities have been added by the Seeker. But considering that system is also showing the place to be in sealed state, the chances of him being there are little as there has been no utilization of utilities of any kind. Similarly the Grave Tower, the only other place he visits, he was also no found there.”
“Have both of the gates sealed, just in case he tries to slip out and keep on looking. The moment he is found, you are to inform me directly.”
“As ordered.”
“Dismissed.”
For a few moments Revensol considered where he might be, everything he had been able to collect in this brief period of time but it was pitifully small, so much so that in the past few days they would have done more in the settlement than Inero-io had done in a all his life.
Dismissing the idel thoughts, Revensol went back to the task at had, the headache inducing stream of data that he had to search through to piece together the actual events that had transpired in this place. Despite not finding any clues about Inero-ie, Revensol was not angry, only more happy. With the Teleportaion Station closed, he could not escape anywhere and after he complete the these things, he would have plent of time to find him.
