On the way back, Markus asked Jaden to try to use his abilities. Normally children are advised not to use their abilities until they are home and in front of someone who knows at least something about the skills but Jaden's case was different. He had 2 unknown skills about which they had next to no idea about. [Analyze] sounded like an information gathering skill but what sort of information? As for [Decomposition Magic], Mark had literally no idea about.
The result of Jaden trying out his skills was that he felt like something was different after using [Analyze], like he is able to see the essence but his vision was the same. All that [Decomposition Magic] did was create a small flash above his hand. This didn't really help but at least it confirmed that it was a system of magic. Skills that grant the ability to use any form of magic were usually sought after as it allows a person to use that system of magic without truly understanding it. For an example, Emily having [Light Magic] as a skill means that she does not have to learn about {Light Magic System} and can still use the basic spells of the system like [Flash]. But this does not mean that she doesn't have to learn about [Light Magic] if she wants to use better spells. This will prove difficult for Jaden because if he wants to develop his magic then he has no one to depend on or learn from apart from himself due to his new system of magic.
After using his [Decomposition Magic] Jaden started to feel tired, as if all his mana has been used up. Mark takes note of it and decides that now it's time to set the camp as it is going to be a 2-day trip.
"Alright listen up, it's going to be dark soon and its better if we set camp here rather than inside the forest. Elders I hope you can look after the children as they wait here and set camp and go and find something for them to eat." Raising his voice, Mark announces to the children that they are setting up the camp here and requests the elders to look after the children.
After the camp has been set up, the children start talking to their friends about their day and their view on it. Emily comes up to Jaden and sits next to him to talk to him.
"Big brother, what happened? You look kind of tired" Asks Emily with worry evident on her face.Â
"Nothing. I was just trying out my skills just earlier and they have left me a bit tired" Jaden replied smiling bitterly to his sister when he remembered about the problem of his skills.
Emily immediately understands the problem and tries to correct her mistake. "Don't worry big brother. Even if you have unknown skills, so what. You can still make them better and rise above any other of our generation as you should. After all your talent has not been seen in centuries."
Emily was right. This was the problem weighing on Jaden's shoulders. The development of his skills. It's not like he did not know what having unknown skills meant. It meant that while others are travelling a well-maintained road, he will have to create his own. While others already know where to go, all he can see is an unmaintained forest from which he has to establish his own destination. Worst thing though was that he did not have even an inkling of what [Decomposition Magic] is supposed to be.
While Jaden was trying to make sense of his situation, Mark was having his own worry over how this will affect the situation in the House. Young Master Jaden having 2 skills is definitely a good thing but both of them being unknown skills changes the situation a bit. If it was Young Lady Emily then it might not have had this much of an effect but now that both of the skills that Young Master Jaden has are unknown then the Control Faction will not let this chance go and definitely try to do something to damage Young Master. He has been the largest thorn on their side for some time now. Also, from what I saw today was unsettling to say the least. Young Master had to use all of his mana to activate the ability and all it did was create a small flash of blue light that lasted for just an instance and then disappeared as if it did not ever exist. This means that the mana requirement for the technique is enormous to say the least and it will at least take Young Master 3 years before he can even try to use it and a decade to effectively use it in battles. That is if it truly has any use in battles and it is not just a broken skill.

While having such worries, Mark returned to the finished camp with some food and after eating their fills, everybody slept.
Next morning Mark woke up to some noises. While they were quiet but he could hear them. He looked around to locate the source of the sounds, and saw that they were coming from Jaden who was training a bit away from the camp so as to not disturb the others.
"Looks like you were doing some training, Young Master." Mark called out to Jaden who was surprised to hear his voice.
"Good morning uncle Mark. I did not think that it would disturb your sleep. I apologize for it." After getting his composure back greeted Mark and apologized.
"Good morning Young Master. You don't have to apologize for it. If I did not wake up then it would have shamed me to call myself a former scout of Aurum, One of the top mercenary group out there. And you did not disturb me, it was about time for me to wake up as well." Replied Mark.
"Then I will take care next time something similar happens."
"But Young Master, you do know that we will be back to the House by the evening so training now does not seem to be a good idea."
"It's just that with all that's happened yesterday and all that it means for the future, I just wanted to take my mind off it all for some time and training does just the trick for me."
"While I can't say that I understand what you are feeling right now but what I can say that running from it is not the best option that you have but worrying about it too much is not good either. You should just try to accept the situation and walk forward with it. You should look at it this way as you will be making a new road for others to tread on and will leave behind a legacy for others to look up to."
"Yes, you are right, I should have a positive outlook on my situation and work hard to leave behind a legacy like no other." Said Jaden.
I hope that you don't do just that but much much more...... While Mark was thinking about it, others have started to wake up. He saw Emily walking towards them.
"Good morning big brother, good morning uncle Mark. What were both of you doing here?" Asked Emily.
"Nothing, I was talking to your brother about my mercenary days. Don't worry, I shall take my leave to prepare for the journey. You both have fun and Young Master Jaden, you should think more about my words" Declared Mark and started walking towards the direction of the camp.
"Yes, I will Uncle Mark." Said Mark.
By the evening, the group was back at the House. It should be noted that the other children were always keeping their distance from Jaden and Emily, it was more prominent in the case of Jaden. It was because the 2 children were different from them. They both were born higher than them even though the difference was minimum also because no matter what skills they got, they were much more talented than them.
When the group returned, they were told to rest today and somebody will come to them tomorrow to confirm their skills and tutor them in the right direction. Jaden was told to meet up with his father tomorrow and then proceed towards the meeting halls. Mark along with the elders went to give their report to the council. That night Jaden had the dream that he was all too familiar with and have had many times in the past. One of the few things to have a lasting impact on him and his future.
