“Dammit!”
Calypso slams his fist on his desk. He was very pissed about losing his most prized project. He couldn't believe that he would let his anger get the better of him.
“He was using my anger to escape from me! He'll pay for what he
did! Shadow Blade!”
“Yes, master?”
Calypso looks at the darkest corner to see a pair of red eyes. Shadow Blade walks out of the corner. He wasn't a tall figure. He was barely 5 foot tall. He had long blood red hair. His red eyes glimmer with mischief and evil content. He was Calypso's most loyal dog.
“I want you to hunt our newest friend and bring him back alive so I can deal with him personally."
Shadow Blade smiles and disappears. Shadow Blade was eager to please his master. Calypso turns around and looks out his office's window glaring at the city below him.
“You will return to me, Reaper. You will obey your master. If not, then you will suffer!”
Reaper walks around the city avoiding the crowd by only going into the alleyways. He starts to breathe heavily. He was still in pain from the last encounter with Calypso. He felt drained and weak. He grabs onto the side of a building while his heart beats slowly.
"That is something I don't want to deal with again..."
Reaper hears a woman scream. Reaper rolls his eyes. He didn't want to hear that.
“Someone help! Thief!”
Reaper slowly looks up to see a guy running from the woman with a purse in his hands. Reaper goes into the shadows slowly. Reaper grabs the guy by the throat. The guy starts beating Reaper's arm. Reaper comes out of the shadow and glares at the thug as his eyes glow a purple haze.
“Hey, man! Let me go!”
The thug protests. Reaper tilts his head.
“And why should i? You reek of darkness.”
The thug stares at Reaper showing that he didn't know what he was talking about. Reaper pulls back his free hand as his fingers crack with each movement of his fingers. He stabs his hand through the chest of the thug. Reaper pull back the hand buried into the chest of the thug. The heart that was taken out was full of dark energy as the black fog swirls around it. He drops the thug and takes a bite out of the heart. The black fog flows from the heart into Reaper's mouth. The scar on Reaper's left eye starts to glow and pulse as he absorbs the darkness of the heart. He is refreshed from the darkness. He can feel the weakness that he was feeling leaving his body as he feels stronger than before. He grabs the purse and wipes his mouth and steps out of the shadows. Reaper walks over to the woman.

“This belongs to you.”
The woman turns around and smiles. She was happy to get your property back from a thief.
“Thank you so much!”
She then looks up at Reaper. his eyes were glowing a purple flame and so was his scar. She screams and snatches back her purse. She runs away in a panic from Reaper into traffic. A semi-truck comes speeding by. She gets hit by the truck. Blood and gore splashed on Reaper's helmet. He wipes the blood and gore off his helmet. A voice speaks out of the shadows.
“That's gotta leave a mark.”
Reaper slowly turns around to see Shadow Blade in the shadows leaning on a wall. He starts walking towards Reaper with purpose. Shadow Blade shrugs at the woman's death.
“Most people would try to save her when a woman runs for her life like that.”
“I didn't have the heart to do it...”
Reaper says. Shadow Blade laughs amused by Reaper’s lack of emotion. He couldn't believe that Reaper didn't careless about other people's lives. Not exactly what a hero would do in this situation.
“You are something else! I thought you were the 'hero' type!”
Reaper form a scythe in his hands and points it at Shadow Blade. The scythe was long and had a serrated edge on it. It looked wicked and nothing like what a hero would use as a weapon.
“I know you didn't come here just to chit chat with me. So, what the hell do you want?”
Reaper said. Shadow Blade just chucked and shrugged.
“Oh? Touchy, are we? I can see you're getting stronger, but haven't you been told not to point a weapon at someone?”
Shadow Blade's blade from his wrist comes out of his skin. It looked painful as they came out of his skin. Reaper could see how the skin was pulled when his blades come out. When they come completely but, they become serrated. He licks one of the blades.
“My mission is to bring you back to master, so we can reunite as a family.
Reaper's eyes burn a purple flame. There was no way he would go back to Calypso willingly. He would rather die than return to his "master". Reaper lunges and attacks Shadow Blade. Shadow Blade blocks the attack as sparks flies as the scythe clashes on his blades.
“I have no master!”
Reaper yells as Shadow Blade pushes Reaper off balance. Shadow Blade kicks Reaper to the ground. Reaper groans a little by the kick. It didn't hurt as bad as it sounded.
“Whether you like it or not, you're a part of our ‘family’.”
Shadow Blade said as he kicks the scythe away from Reaper. He stabs Reaper in the shoulder. Blood seeps out of the fresh wound. The blood was thick not like normal blood would run.
“Now, come back to master, and he won't hurt you as bad!”
Shadow Blade demanded. Reaper smiles at Shadow Blade showing him defiance. The same defiance he gave Calypso.
“You haven't won the battle yet.”
Reaper goes into a shadow. Shadow Blade's blade is stuck in the cement, but he pulls it out. He looks around for Reaper. Reaper's hand comes up from the ground and grabs his scythe and pulls it into the shadow. Shadow Blade starts to get irritated and yells out.
“Where are you, you piece of shit!”
Reaper jumps up from the shadow. The scythe straightens itself out. His eyes burns a purple flame and his scar pulsates with a purple hue.
“Right here.”
Shadow Blade turns around. The scythe expands and pins Shadow Blade to a building. Shadow Blade yelps in pain. Reaper walks up to him as the scythe slowly retracts to itself with each step. Shadow Blade coughs up blood.
“Tell ‘master’ that I'll be coming for him soon.”
Reaper tells Shadow Blade. Shadow Blade just spits blood on Reaper's helmet and getting into the serrated scar on the helpmet.
“Why don't you tell him yourself!?”
Shadow Blade said. Reaper smirks as his scar glows purple evaporating the blood that was on it.
“I was hoping you say that.”
“What you... Ack!”
Reaper stabs his chest and pulls out his heart, but it was still connected to Shadow Blade. Reaper takes a bite of the heart and starts to absorb the darkness. As he is absorbing the darkness, a dark cape starts to form. Shadow Blade's blades retract back into his skin. Reaper pulls his scythe out of Shadow Blade letting him fall to the ground. Reaper walks away from Shadow Blade knowing that he wasn't threat anymore. Reaper goes into an alleyway. A figure comes out of the shadows and follows Reaper. Reaper quickly forms his scythe in his hands. He turns around and slashes at the figure. The scythe cuts through the figure, but it turns into a cloud of smoke and disappears. A voice comes from the shadows in a smooth, and alluring tone.
“Usually, people try to run when someone are following them but not you. No, no, no. You are one interesting creature, Reaper.”
A smile was formed on the shadow as it waits for Reaper's reply.
