I'm still processing what happened. It’ was like watching this world's game called pool. A single kick and Kueel's head was severed right off his shoulders going straight for Moran’s. Moran couldn’t even react before that same severed head crushed his own between it and the brick wall behind him. Two dead within less than a second. The council knew this would happen. They knew and sent us to die.
Nueil fell to her knees. "Wait wait wait. Please don't kill me. I'll do anything. I'm sorry, we shouldn't have been arrogant. We were blinded by the position the council gave us. We thought you’d bow and cower like all the others do. We didn’t know you were a hunter. We would have never dared." His eyes glowed bright yellow though they were unable to conceal those snake like black slits darker than the void. She couldn’t move, not because of any magic but rather pure raw fear. It was instinctual, almost as if she was naked and helpless in front of a powerful unrelenting predator bearing its fangs. "We are only inexperienced enforcers, not even one hundred years into the job. Please let me live."

"Relax child. You follow Kitna just as me. I have no reason to kill you. You're pretty enough though; I’ll be accepting that offer of yours." The corners of his lips turned up smugly. No not smug, he wasn’t smug. He was raw power and anything he wants is his by that right. "Those two followed Sedeck and Kullman. I had no real reason to spare them."
Uilek had been a true hunter for centuries beyond counting. There were only two things that really satisfied him now. He walked over to the cowering little thing seizing her by her long, flowing hair; forcing her face up so he could get a good look. She was undeniably pretty; he would express his gratitude to Kitna later.
"So, who am I hunting?"
