Chapter 000
Laid frailty on the bed, while his whole body was filled with wrinkles due to old age, covered by a soft blanket and only his head could be seen. His friends and families were there beside him, watching as he lived out his final moment.
"Great Grandpa...." whimpered the cute little girl.
Adult, young, male or female. Their eyes were filled with sorrowful and happy tears at the same time.
"Grand Father....."
The old man named Merlin Ambrosius looked at them and spoke with an ancient voice. "My time has come. I already reached the end of my run. It is time for me to go. Don't be sad, instead be happy. As I leave, at least remember that I'm always with you. You're in the New Era, and I'm left in the Old Era. The friends that I made before, had already passed before me and they are waiting for me. Be happy. The mystery of the world is always at your side...."

And after saying those farewell words, his eyes shut closed slowly as his breath stopped, becoming motionless and his life ended peacefully.
Merlin's soul travelled to the void and a light flashed through him as it blinded his nonexistent eyes. At the same time, a voice called out his name.
"Merlin...."
"Who... Who are you." he asked.
"I am whom I am." the ancient voice said and continued. "Your life pleases me. As well as the fact that you are the only person who break the shackles of normality. Your mentality is on par with Genesis Gods of different worlds. And so I am here to offer you a New Journey. Do you accept?"
"New journey?" baffled, Merlin asked.
"Indeed. A journey through the world where magic exist in reality, far from what you can imagine."
"Then, who am I to refuse your offer?"
"Very well. I will leave your memories intact, and give you a new vessel for your soul. However, the memories of your families, except of who you are will be erased, for the sake of balance. As I am merciful, I will give you informations about the world where you are going to, as well as some knowledge. This is our final meeting, but fate might change it. Good luck to your new life, Merlin Ambrosius."
As the One who had neither start nor end said his words, he sent Merlin to his new world.
