Part 1
[Day 361]
A massive, blue-hazed lion with a cloud-like black mane, approximately 15 meters long, strode proudly and elegantly through mountains of corpses radiating the aura of a king.
With each step he took frost footprints were left in place and a breath of heat left his mouth.
His body was cold on the outside like a frozen river while warm like a volcano on the inside.
This lion was what used to be a little cub about 5 or 6 feet in length wandering the land of ice and snow but was now a terrifying lion that brought an apocalyptic change to wherever he set foot in this land being no different.
Though a little different to what he used to be now he is one with who he was meant to be…
King, previously formless and shapeless, now inhabited the majestic lion, controlling it like his own body.
He became one with the lion no longer just observing from the sides.

Part 2
This feeling is simply exhilarating!
Ever since we joined together I was no longer bored or felt losing myself in this world.
I’m living a dream though it does seem like a dream.
Wait, wait, something is off.
As I walked elegantly and proudly I kept getting this foreboding feeling like something unexpected was about to happen!
Whoosh
And like my feeling foretold in front of me appeared two people or beasts should I call them?
The mother and daughter, Flame Empress Emberly and Kimara both look beautiful and menacingly in their own way.
The Flame Empress was way bigger than my current form while her daughter was smaller than her she was still bigger than me.
They were both lionesses with horse-like flame manes, red eyes that had yellow flames inside them like it was reflecting the sun… and circular flame sun rings floating behind the Flame Empress.
I’m sure that this world is a simulation inside my head, so what are they doing here?
[Ding]

Huh?
Orb!
Where have you been all this while... popping out of nowhere now?

Orb! Orb! Orb!
Damn disappeared again.
Well whatever, while I was calling out to this damn Orb those lionesses seem to not care just coming at me.
There was quite a distance between us but they crossed that distance effortlessly, it must be because of their huge sizes.
Coming at me just like those big cats I slayed before they struck with their huge paw claws wanting to bury me into the ground with their sizes.
Of course, I wouldn’t just let that be my end dodging to the side and sprinting to the right.
Seeing me sprint they must think I’m running away from the fight but that is not the case for me.
I learned well how to fight with this body and their size will do them no advantage.
Running to the side they followed after me breathing fire like they were dragons.
Wooh!
That is new alright, though it was well coming since a literal flame is burning on their necks to the back and tail.
I could not help glancing back while running… and just for the record, I’m not running away.
What I’m doing currently is a tactical way to separate them and pounce on the other.
In a way, I’m a predator trying to circle them so I can pick on the weaker one but obviously, that is not going to work so easily since they are right behind me so I have to at least make them split to attack one of them.
As I continued to run in a circle the lionesses split one going one way and the other going the other way, my heart nearly jumped seeing this but maybe I thought too that it seemed a good plan… but right after splitting to the side to circle me instead the unthinkable happened.
The Flame Empress who was over a hundred meters long roared at the sky shooting red fireballs the size of huge boulders out of her mouth into the sky.
This is apocalyptic, what is she aiming for doing that?
No-no, no I cannot let this one slide I have to stop her.
As soon as the thought of me getting toasted when hit with that made me run toward her leaving all my plans behind.
What I’m doing is being reckless but I’ll be damned to have the sky rain fire the size of huge boulders on me, no sir that is a no-no.
When I got close to her I jumped up to slit her throat, but suddenly a shadow flashed by next to me… only pain came through to me as I even lost a sense of what hit me, not understanding how she got so close to me so fast.
My body was sent miles away from where I just was.
Ah, my body I can’t feel a thing!
[Ding]
[Core Forming At 1%]
Huh? What!!!

While processing the information he just received the two lionesses arrived standing tall around him with looks of disdain.
Still not looking around him and processing what happened, King wondered if the pop-up came about because he took a hit…
When he finally understood the reason as to why the system popped up showing a progress par, he swallowed his pain getting on his feet or rather paws.

Bam
As soon as he got up he was sent flying again.
Landing not too far away King then realized that his opponents were not going to sit around while he was in thought.
A huge claw imprint was on his side like a fence cut through him.
“Bloody hell! Are you ladies out for my blood that badly?” King blushed sarcastically coughing up blood.
Not waiting around on him they came at him again the Flame Empress breathing a fire blast that scorched through the land, cleaving off half of his head and setting fire on him.
“Ah!!” King roared in agony experiencing so much while rolling on the ground miserably.
And while that was going on Kimara the daughter unleashed a torrent of flames that burned the land.
The torrent of flames went around the ground scorching everything in sizzling temperature, the ground was like a volcanic river of fire.
At this point, King was no longer an opponent for these two rather he was a dummy practice that took everything they had with no way of retaliation.
The Flame Empress Emberly and her daughter Kimara unleashed horrifying attacks one after another.
A meteor shower flames that exploded on impact illuminating the sky as they descended.
[Core Forming At 12%]
A field of flames that engulfed the land for miles, filling it with searing heat.
[Core Forming At 38%]
A strike of fangs imbued with flames and burning claws tore the flash before even coming into contact with it.
[Core Forming At 41%]
Fireblast breaths drilled through the earth as they were launched.
[Core Forming At 55%]
Fireballs that exploded like grenades.
[Core Forming At 69%]
A flame vortex that consumed everything to its atom like a black hole.

All of these barrages of attacks left the land scorched beyond recognition; it was like thousands of missiles being launched into a multitude of erupting volcanoes.

Of course, this wouldn’t be just him experiencing hell though as every time these lionesses launched an attack their size was decreasing, becoming smaller and smaller until they faded away together with the plane that shone brightly right before everything became white-like, blank white space.

Part 3
8th Plane World: Pride Clan’s Museum
With his miserable defeat from the last two opponents he had faced King was teleported into a strange place.
King was back in his original body and was now in a vast plain of flowers and grass.
And standing at the center of this beautiful plain was… or were six statues standing together.
These six statues looked so real with their gold silk robes with black undertones, shiny gold shoulder pads, and an angular, truncated, polyhedron, and porous crown mask, with both gauntlets and legwear made of the same shiny material though most of them except for one was feminine having high heels.
At the center was a masculine statue that radiated a kingly aura, his crown was the highest, and his robe was that of a king's robe with a cape that had a lion's head imprinted on the back. Standing next to him was a female statue with feather wings and a curvy thick build holding a scepter with a crimson orb on its top and her crown resembled a queen's high crown. Next to her on the right was another female statue with a mesomorph-type body though it was covered by a robe. She held a katana-like blade that was almost as tall as her while her crown mask looked nothing like a crown but more like a hannya mask. Standing next to her was a female statue crouching as she held a musketeer rifle pointed forward as if ready to shoot. And to the other side on the left next to the masculine statue was a female statue wearing an oni mask rather than a mask crown though its design also had a resembling appearance to the rest. She held a spiked club on her shoulder looking menacingly. On her left was the final statue which was also a female and the tallest holding a long spear as she stood proudly.
These six statues stood on a pedestal that was 1.4 meters high making their huge figures look bigger than they seemed.
From the furthest left to the right their heights went like this: 36 '7 ft, 17' 8 ft, 20 '1 ft, 25' 3, 36 '4 ft, 30' 1 ft tall…
Seeing them such nostalgia came to him as he remembered all the days they spent together.
They are his subordinates, companions, family, and pride… and together they are the Royal Clan of Pride.
A clan made of only six humans who went under modification to become a new race of their own, the Royal Humans…
Note: Modification in what it means their bodies are modified inside out and metamorphosing into a different race despite being the same as humans with differences such as huge build, wings, elf-like ears, or a human version of a lion i.e. King’s appearance.
These pleasant memories were like cold water that washed away the harsh agonizing exhaustion of feeling like he was in a pot of fire, calming his mind and setting his heart at ease as the breeze of the plain swept him with peace.
[Ding]
[Congratulations my master, you have endured and survived your will truly is admirable.]
“Shut it!”
“That was hell. A’ll it be a memory of hell… I hope I didn’t feel all that just to be disappointed now tell me what exactly is happening.” King turned his eyes clear and mind-boggling with questions.
[Yes, let me begin from the start…
Master as you know in this world animals are beasts that evolve into monsters creatures that wield powers only imaginable to the mind.
It begins from an early stage where the animals of this world come into contact with an energy that is changing the very fundamentals of genes and matter. In this stage, the animal's physiology develops to a point where it would seem illogical in a sense.
Whereas the most deadly animals have changes to them that would allow them to be abnormal and much threatening beings capable of having hides that are as hard as iron, claws that are sharper than knives or swords, and poison stings that would knock an elephant or a blue whale to death within seconds.
These abnormal changes go even further to the point a predator becomes a living disaster capable of ending up to four thousand human lives alone.
When they reach that point they develop a crystal core either within their brains or hearts enabling them to spew fire, shoot torrents of spikes like hedgehogs, turn their limbs to stone, redirecting lighting or storing light to shoot it out later like energy beams.
They gain the ability to control the elements and supernatural powers, making them similar to natural disasters.
What the Flame Empress gave you was her core which enabled her to conjure and manipulate fire like you witnessed yourself and inside that core was a gem that contained the powers of frost, it’s origin is unknown but its power is several times more potent than the Flame Empress.
What followed after your initial digestion of the core and gem was you losing consciousness and metamorphosing into a different creature. The process of this happening is extremely dangerous and painful. Because it meant shedding your human self into becoming another non-human creature, not the ordinary transformation where people shift into animals it is much different.
Right now you are still in the process of becoming or rather forming your new body.

When beasts evolve into monsters there are six stages to their evolution: 1st stage through the 6th stage or the process of the cores becoming different colors as one advances green core, blue core, yellow core, orange core, red core, and purple core.
These six stages are a landmark or a limiter that stops a creature from evolving endlessly and balancing out the law of the world…
Master, your main form would of course be starting from the first stage though its attributes are slightly if not more different compared to the others of the same stage.
The stars represent how much more potent or greater you are compared to the average monster's attributes.
Your vitality being 4 stars means that it is four times that of a peak green-cored monster same with the others.
Vitality is your lifeline, and strength represents your physical stat same with speed/agility, dexterity, and endurance/durability. While intelligence is your control over all attributes and the energy core is the substance that fuels your powers.
Lastly potential is the most important attribute of all being the one thing that would allow you to break through the limiter of your evolution.
This is so because not every creature can just evolve to the sixth stage or beyond it only having one or two chances of evolving further.
