I awoke. Or at least I think I did because the feeling of nothingness surrounded me. I couldn’t feel or see anything. All my senses just felt like they were offline. I strained my mind in the best way I could to try at open my eyes. A bright light filled my vision along with a young man who had glasses and looked to be in his twenties. “Hello Alex 1.0” came from a voice across from me, who I soon put together was the man in the lab coat. “Where am I?” I tried to say but nothing came out. I looked across the table and saw that the words I was thinking suddenly appeared on a black wall. “You are in an ArtificialLife laboratory hidden in the Italian Alps” he stated.
