Late chapter, I got occupied with RL and some ff that I really enjoyed, plus I was really lazy. Yeah that’s my reason why I didn’t write much.
Well here you are at last.

Lost: Blessing of the Conqueror
So they now know what happened.
I received that Blessing from the King, it had the condition included that, if I disappoint or bore him, it will be lost for me. That I lost it indicates that the news of my escape now reached the King.
With this happened there will probably soon be patrols or adventurers coming after us here, maybe that Crixus will even send his monster gladiators after us.
If any scouts find us I will not let them report anything.
Enough of that for now, other things need to be settled first.
We are in the middle of the forest right now, on our way to the cave I found.
The trip takes longer than expected, we’ve been moving for about 2 days now. The carriages need too long to move through the woods.
But we almost reached it.
Once we arrive I will form several squads to clear the cave from all the bats and whatever else lives in there, it will be great practice for them all and may even give them one or two levels.
But first it’s time to rest, and to think.
The Blessing of the conqueror which I lost reminded me of something, it’s just a faint memory from when I beat Tralgur, just before I lost consciousness. I got blessed… and cursed.
There were a few windows that popped up, they varied.
Blessing of the Goddess of Darkness has been strengthened
Acquired: Blessing of the Demigod of Death
Acquired: Curse of the Humans God of Light
The Blessing that I received when I first evolved got strengthened, does that mean that whatever god bestowed it on me likes me even more?
The (strengthened) Blessing of the Goddess of Darkness is only bestowed upon individuals with the potential to fully become creatures of the dark. The Goddess herself choses those fortunate being. Whoever has this blessing will learn and master darkness magic and sneaking skills easier than normally. These chosen ones are often sold as slaves to fanatic groups when captured.
As far as I remember it looked the same when I first went through it, except for the ‘strengthened’, I guess it didn’t change effects. Time to look through what else I got.
The Blessing of the Demigod of Death is only bestowed upon individuals that dealt with fear, hate, agony and death for all their life. The Demigod rarely choses Individuals for this blessing because his expectations are quite high. Whoever has this blessing will have it easier to deal with frustration and pain in the future, also they will have greater affinity to Death magic and slightly higher affinity for Blood magic. These chosen ones are often sold as slaves to fanatic groups when captured.
So I got this ‘Blessing’ because I went through more pain in my live, or my lives, than others. Probably the pain from having killed Tralgur got his attention. Fuck, this feels wrong.
You’ve been cursed by the Humans God of Light. He commanded every single one of his followers to do anything in their might to erase your presence. Light and Holy magic will have bigger effects on you and healing magic will not work on you anymore. You have been abandoned by the light.
…that was to be expected… I killed my own father, no good god would appreciate that. I’m actually surprised that I only received one curse for that, maybe other gods, if other gods than these actually exist, don’t really care or even know the circumstances behind it.
That God’s followers will come after me too, huh? I sure hope that they don’t have any magic that purifies evil, because I’m pretty sure that I can be considered evil enough for that to have massive effects on me. I will have to look out for that.
Even though I was still in great shape, the others, especially the human (former) slaves that I freed, needed rest. I used the time to talk to a few of my comrades.
First was the smith, we chatted a little and I found out his name was Falgar. We talked about many things, our backgrounds, he didn’t believe how young I was, his blacksmith job and how we could use it and many more things.
He told me that he was born in a village in a small Kingdom in the north and that he was enslaved when a Ravarian army (the country they are in is called Ravaria, as said in chapter 2), attacked them and killed his family. He then was used as a slave on construction and after his owner found out that he was a talented smith he was sold to Crixus. We all know the rest.
He didn’t want to talk much about his homeland and his family, so I didn’t push him.
After we exchanged our stories, we thought of ways to use him in our plan to kill the King. I promised him that I would get him sufficient equipment and work stations to craft basic and advanced equipment for us all. He told me that if I found some magic stones he could implant them into weapons or armor, making them even stronger.
We talked for a few hours, and after promising him that I’d find a few apprentices for him as help, we parted.

Next in line was Tris. She wanted to talk to me for hours now and I finally had time.
What she wanted was simple, I should teach her how to tame animals. She planned on taming all the Dioramas, that apparently were still following us, or rather following their alpha, which was the one I tamed already.
It literally took hours. Tris understood what she had to do to tame one of them, but she was too impatient. She always tried to fast, instead of letting the animal do the important steps.
After some time I told her to take her own Diorama to the herd, with it next to her the other animals started trusting her quick. When she managed to tame a few of them I took the alpha back, she now managed without him being there.
After a few more hours she managed to tame all of the creatures and started distributing them among the Humans, because she feared that the orcs might want to eat them, and the Imps simply were too small to ride the big horses.
That was around the time when I realized that Gur and Chiuco were not with the rest of our caravan.
I asked everyone that could’ve seen him, though no one knew where they had gone, only that he disappeared when we stopped to rest.
I panicked a little. At first I saw them only as expendable paws, but now they are for me, I can’t explain why I feel like that, like brothers.
I need to find these troublemakers.
Using a lot of my darkness energy I engulfed in an area of about 100 meters around us with it, every leaf, every tree, every bush, everything was covered by it.
And I felt every movement and every structure beneath it.
About 70 meters left of me lied something humanoid, it was hardly breathing and about the size of a small human.
I immediately charged to whatever was lying there, preparing to find a mortal wounded Gur.
What I found was not Gur, but a small human woman, one of the slaves I freed.
She was unconscious.
I carried her back onto a carriage and waited till she woke up.
She had short red hair, a cute, young face and a weak, tender body. From what I can guess she is about 20 years old. She had a bruise on her forehead.
After waiting for about one hour I told Tris to take care of her, and went to look for traces of Gur and Chiuco.
Again I found nothing.
So I waited. And waited.
Hours later she woke up, it took me some time to calm her down, but when I managed to she calmly answered my questions.
She saw Gur run off with Chiuco and tried to ask him where he was heading, when she ran behind him she accidently ran against a low hanging branch which she didn’t see.
She remembered the rough direction of where they were heading.
The moment she stopped answering I was gone, on my way to find my brothers.
I will never bury another brother. I swore that to myself back then.
I ran, and I found what I was looking for. Traces. Dead animals where lying along the way they had gone, they had killed everything in their path.
What I saw lied outside Gur’s abilities, there were dead deer, rabbits, wild dogs, wolves and what surprised me the most was that I found two dead bears. They were both bigger than a small elephant. These two were probably Chiuco’s doing.
There was blood along the way where no animals lied dead, one of them was wounded.
I ran for about an hour, when the forest became less dense, I reached its end.
There stood right outside the forest, a small village. No, not small in the meaning of it having a low population, but literally small. The houses only reached a height of maybe one meter.
The village was burning, high pitched blue flames reached into the sky.
Screams came from everywhere within the village, I heard woman and children crying, and men screaming in pain.
And I heard a roar like from a wild beast.
As I entered there were corpses lying all around the small paths.
The creatures that lived here were so called ‘Hobbits’, as my ability told me. They were all low level and none had any significant equipment.
Most of their bodies were too burnt to determine how they looked.
I found Gur and Chiuco in the middle of the village fighting a few stronger looking Hobbits, they were taller and fatter than the others.
As I examined them, all of them were ‘Gnomes’, except for two, these two belonged to a race called ‘Dwarf’.
The Dwarves looked like the Gnomes, only even small but stronger and fitter. They had the perfect bodies for a defense type unit. And that’s what they were.
Both wielded tower shields that were bigger than themselves.
Gur was wounded all over his body, small cuts that didn’t bleed too badly. His sword was shattered and he held the broken stump in his hand.
Chiuco was in a better condition, his scales blocked most of the damage, but he also had a few bleeding wounds.
Both of them looked very exhausted.
“YOU IDIOTS!”(Tral)
As I screamed at them, they jumped and calmed down as they saw me, only to be scared again when they saw my angry face.
“YOU RUN OFF WITHOUT SAYING SHIT AND THEN GET YOURSELF INTO A SITUATION LIKE THIS?”(Tral)
slowly walking towards them I killed several Gnomes with my darkness magic, to my surprise the Dwarves held themselves against it.
“AND THEN YOU GET YOUSELF IN TROUBLE WITH SOME LOWLY DWARVES?” (Tral)
Both of them backed away the closer I came.
“Goddamnit you two.”(Tral) I said while taking out two healing potions I found when I looted the soldiers corpses.
Before they could back up even more I jumped right in front of them and pushed the bottles into their hands.
“Drink that you idiots.”(Tral)
And why the hell are the Dwarves screaming something now? And why are they screaming in my language, in Goblin language?

Before I forget to say it, my exams are coming up now… So well I guess I will not write much in the next weeks, but if I get some time for myself when I’m not stressed then I will try to upload something.
