Chapter 1 - Giving Up
*haahh*pants*haaah* as the person took deep breaths to ease the body that screams of pain for over running like a madman as he goes further to the forest.
“I think I lost them for a while now *haah**haahh~” as the person himself saw a clearing with the help of the moonlight, then he stops and looks around for possible pursuers then suddenly..
*whooosh*
The person falls down facing the starry night sky the only one that gives light to the forest, he felt cold because of the rain, his sight becoming dim as if light from his eyes dies out.
“No it’s not the end yet” as he murmurs to himself to ease the pain and suffering in his heart.
“After all the running I made, this is the outcome? I’m gonna die for a sin I did not commit, nor even I don’t know about!! I’m not gonna die for the person who made me a scape goat!!” as light returned to his eyes like fire burning that it seems his eyes glowed in the dark buuut..
He started to spurt blood and the blood in his gut started to spill out, even the coldness brought by the rain, the blood felt warm. Thanks to the rain the tears that fall down in his face won’t be noticed if another person saw him lying down in the cleared spot that it doesn’t look bad as his grave, surrounded by trees.
Then, red light started to shine in the dark and growls cold be heard.
“Come out, you monsters! I’m not scared of you sh*ts, I’m not gonna die here and I don’t taste good for all you know” He shouted as he struggled to drag his body towards the nearest tree to lean and sees what this red lights is while his left hand holds the arrow that is stuck in the wound to prevent more blood from flowing out.
The red lights slowly fly towards him not affected by the words the man said earlier. Then as it goes out of the darkness, the growling becomes louder. It was a dire wolf, it stood over 5 feet tall, fur so dark as if darkness itself shrouds over it, killer eyes that shows no remorse to his prey, and it’s killing intent that is seeping out of its body.
The accused criminal smirks at the death not feeling intimidated, he slowly search for a stone, as the dire wolf keeps on getting nearer. When the dire wolf is almost 1 meter away from him he successfully grabbed a stone in his right hand, his left hand holding his wound in his stomach to prevent huge liter of blood for gushing out.

The man also did not fail to give off killing intent to at least stall for time to think of a way to get out of the situation alive but.
As if the wolf senses that he is planning something, it suddenly pounced towards him opening its jaws. Time suddenly stops but the man’s thinking processes still working what action is to be taken.
He moves his right hand grabbing a stone swinging it as powerful as he can matching with his scream putting everything he has to this gamble.
“HhhAaahhhhhhhhhHhhhh!!!”
The man successful hit its left side of face, crushing it’s left eye that made it lose its balance, then the man dodge his upper body that is leaning in the tree more of like it dropped to the right to evade the dire wolf’s bite.
The bite of the wolf hits the tree that its stalled for a few seconds trying to remove its fang he put everything he has left to stand up and strike again for its head, trying to end the fight.
“ooooorrryaaaaaa!!” he shouted again giving him a slight boost of strength.
The stone that he is holding hit the head again for a second time causing the wound on its left eye from earlier spurts out blood. The wolf falls down, as life force left its body while biting the tree.
He falls down again, after he spent every last bit of his strength to the actions he made to further the time left in his life.
*haaah*pants*haaaah* “Hahahaha!! See that?! I won’t give up, even in my last breath!!” as he laughed while blood spurts out of his mouth, but it seems it’s his last laugh before dying as his eyes again, lose its light and his breaths getting slower and slower, he closed his eyes then lied down facing the starry night sky.
“I’m sorry” He whispered to the rain, and he lost his consciousness.
