Ragnarok X Ragnarok is an open map game. Upon logging in the game for the first time, you have to go through the tutorial like every role-playing game. Before level 11 you have to run into the map and kill groups of NPC/monster as a quest and after that dungeon lvl 1 open.

At first, player have to start their game with the wooden stick, a character doesn’t have any connection with the class. A player can choose any character they like.

After leveling up to level 11 player can choose a weapon, and choosing a weapon to mean choosing a class.

With choosing class all of his weapons will change to his class-wise. Most fun fact and uniqueness of the game is when a player will be at level 50 he can change his class just changing his weapon. And every base stat of weapon/gears will be intact, let's think if one of his gear’s base stat is 200, a mage has 100% advantage on that stat then that gear’s base stat will remain 200, now then archer has 120% advantage on that stat then that gear’s base stat will be converted to 240. But what if a warrior has 80% advantage on stat, simple in mathematics term it will be converted to 160. Of course for changing class this easily has to give a price, first you have to be a VIP player, in well-known term casher and second, you cannot change your class again in 48 hours.

There are 4 basic class- mage, warrior, archer, and assassin. There are eight types of weapons in this game, those are the bow, one-handed sword, two-handed sword, shield, hammer, dagger, stuff, and magic gun. And there are 4 kinds of gear for 4 kinds of class.

By the way in Leon case he couldn’t select any character, that part was entirely skipped. The avatar he got is the same as the younger self of Alfred, in another word his so-called second life’s look. But Leon currently ignoring this part, because he even doesn’t know how did he log in the game without VR gear, the most amazing part is every single thing is the same as RxR. It’s too realistic than a dream for him. So he decided to continue the gameplay.

After leveling up to 11 a tab appeared in front of him. There are many kinds of weapon. All of them are rookie class. For note, if he choose hammer or 2h sword or two 1 handed sword or one 1h sword and 1 shield he will be classified as warrior, now there are three kinds of warrior, one is if one choose 2h sword or hammer he will become attacking type warrior and all of the available skill he can use will be physical related but basic damage of those two weapons will be more than other weapons. If one chooses two 1h swords, then he can use both physical skill and magical skill in another word they will be a magic warrior, but one 1h sword’s basic damage less than half of 2h sword or hammer. And those who chose one 1h sword and 1 shield he will be a tank.

For those who chose a bow, they will be archer. And simply if you chose stuff you will be a mage. But what makes them amazing? Archer can use only buff skill and arrow skill, but Archer has every attacking element arrow skills, like ice (water+wind), fire, thunder(+light), poison, dark(+curse) and physical(+earth). As for mage, they are a mid-range fighter, a mage can choose both magic skill and physical skill except arrow and bullet skills what make different mage to archer or warrior is mage can cast strongest and widest AoE attack.

And now the last one is assassin class, choosing 2 daggers or 1 dagger and 1 mini-gun you can become assassin, every skill assassin can use related to physical, curse and poison, but what makes them different is their extreme attack speed, only base attack speed of assassin is 2 attacks/second where others are 1 attack/second, and using minigun they got 2.20 base attack speed.
