LAWRENCE STARED AT THE TWO UNCONSCIOUS PEOPLE, WONDERING IF THE REASON HE WAS GIVEN TO QUANTIFY WAS DUE TO HIM GETTING THE HIGHEST SCORE ON THE YEARLY HA EMPLOYEE EXAM. HE COULD CERTAINLY UNDERSTAND WHY, AS HE STARED AT THE TWO OH-SO-SIMILAR PEOPLE ARGUE OVER NOTHING. AGAIN.
Observing one of the now-empty syringes, Lawrence wondered if the old way of sedation gave partial memory loss, and that was why it was changed. It would make sense why neither of them believed they’d ever argued, then, if every time they did, they ended up having to be sedated. He’d heard there was a good chance they’d attempt to kill each other, and Lawrence sighed, regretting the disbelief he’d felt at the time. Savant was the most intelligent, logical person aside from himself he’d ever met. Quantify was equally seen as someone logically inclined. It made no sense to him why they’d argue each other into a murderous rage. If they always did this in the past… It was a wonder they survived long enough that the HA could even get to them, let alone sedate them.

Lawrence rubbed his face, groaning at all the work he’d naively accepted.
It was the job of the Hero Association to reach out and touch base with neutras and other important resources, to extend an offer before a group of villains could get an exclusive deal. Especially with Quantify, it was a super important job to have, but…
Lawrence put both of his hands in his face, ignoring the two unconscious bodies at his feet.
A liaison job was supposed to be easy.
