The soft girls voice drills through his ears, it was a warm voice, the kind which could calm the cruelest beasts.
The first thing he saw after opening his eyes was a cheerful girl's face, then he lifted one of his arms and looked at it closely, there was no flesh only metal and some kind of translucent material. Confusion filled his mind with one big question "what am I?".
"Hello there, do you have a name?" asked the girl, the puppet was still looking at his hand and didn't make any sound.
10 minutes passed, still no answer.
"Grandpa, is this puppet broken?" asked Lin.
"Child, give him some time to calm down, he was just born to this world you know", grandpa Danzo struck his pipe at the end of the table and proceeded to stuff it with a new batch of tobacco.
"I..." finally after half an hour, the puppet started to move his lips "I don't know," he said.
Lin looked at the puppet, clearly, she long ago lost interest in it and was playing with her violin, "I think the puppet is broken, it was half an hour when I asked him that question..."
"Give him some time, go to the market, we need something to eat, we almost run out of supplies,” grandpa Danzo stood up with a cane in his hand, then took out some clothes from a drawer and put them near the table.
“When you stand up, put these clothes on,” said the old man while looking at the puppet, then he gestured to the girl to move quickly and walked out of the room with her.
The puppet looked around the room, there where no windows just a few candles burning in every corner which mixed with silence in the room created quite a calming atmosphere.
“Who am I?” asked the puppet, last thing it remembers before waking up was pain and blinding light.
Trying to think about that right now was pointless so he proceeded to stand up, but for some reason his legs didn't move how they should so while standing up he almost fell putting some strength in his arms and leaning in to the corner of the table he walked near the mirror in the corner of the room and looked at his reflection.
As his arm implied there where no flesh on his body, his whole being was made out of metal and some strange translucent material. The image made him look quite scary and imposing. After looking at himself for quite some time he finally noticed some strange golden-red markings moving about his body which moved in and out of spiky orb in his chest.
