Chapter 1

The sunset was as red as blood, but despite that, it made a beautiful contrast with crystalline lake, even caravans driving through the area would stop to imprint this beautiful sight in their minds.

Not far away from the lake shore, you could hear resplending violin music that added a wisp of sadness and longing making the scene look like a sad immortal paradise.

„Lin’er, come, I've finished it!“ the old man's deep shout was drifting through the lakeshore where a young lady with black ornamented violin and white garment was sitting. When she heard a shout she almost at the same moment jumped to her feet's and ran to an old house on the hill near the lakeshore.

When Lin reached the door, she slowly opened it to reveal an old man smoking big pipe. His smile almost split his face into two different parts, despite his old looks his eyes where radiating such a lively gleam at this moment that it could very well bring dead to life.

„Grandpa Danzo!! Don't smoke in the house there is nothing to breathe here. Grandpa! Do you hear me?“ Lin seeing that her grandpa wasn't listening she just sighted and went to the table where the body was covered with a blanket.

„Lin’er, child, this is the last thing I'll leave in the world.“ Lin’er looked at him and sadness filed her heart.

„Lin’er, don't be sad, you knew that this day would come.“

„Why? Why do you have to make these things? Why do you have to exchange your life for this thing!?“ Lin clenched her fingers until even blood started dripping down from her palms, tears were running down her face.

„Lin’er, my child, you knew that this day would come, that's why I wished to leave you something that would remind you of me, this is a pinnacle of my craftmanship, you must not think about it as puppet, because I gave it the greatest gift, the gift of free will!“

„Now child take this and put it in puppets chest“ Granpa Danzo extended his arm to give Ling a sphere. If you looked at it closely you could see an uncountable number of runes swirling inside of it.
