The path shifted from this huge open field, into a narrow road inside the mountains, i have to be careful in case there is a tracker hunter nearby, and still not sure the size of the base we are going to yet.

The more points in sneak I have, increases the need for the hunters to have more points in tracking, if i the same amount of points in stealth as a tracker hunter has in tracking, then he can sense me in a medium range, if he got more points than me he can notice me sooner, therefor i should keep my distance as soon as i can see the base.

The wind got stronger the higher we got up.

Could this be the place Celia is located?

i could see torch reflections on the rocks in front of us, we were getting closer.

A man was standing there, but i couldn’t make out a face. I split paths with the thug that I followed and found a vantage point on some rocks, I could see a big tent and some few other tents around that one, smoke was coming from the middle one, the thug got escorted inside, in case of tracker hunters I kept my distance and rather waited for them to come out.

It didn’t take long before I could hear shouting, the guy I stalked got dragged out as he was tied in ropes, and they probably know what he did. 2 men dragged his body and some other people went outside as well, Celia included!

“You failing this mission was really bad Celia, because of we know you are skilled and the missions you have had earlier have been a success we will not punish you for this failure, but if you fail one more time you will speak to someone that is not as nice as me.”

“Humf” Celia replied as she didn’t seem threatened at all.

I want to run down there and save her, but there is too many of them or is there?

There was about 20 people all together.

Does she even want to be saved?

“At sunrise we are getting the hell out of this place and headed straight for the Thunder Plains, get your rest!”

Everyone went to their tents, although several people in the same tents, mostly the big one in the middle.

Celia went to her own tent some guarded the area, they look like archers too. My vision is longer than their tracking sense, if I am prepared I can go all in and as soon as I am within the tracker range I use reappear to kill him off quick before he can think.

One guard went towards me and it won’t take long before the aura reaches me, I started running towards him. I could see it in his movement when I noticed my presence, then I reappeared behind him and assassinated him.

The other guards were oblivious as the corpse turned to pixel dust.

I continued doing this to the other guards flawless, but I had to wait for the right opportunity each time and also wait off my cool downs, if it wasn’t for the blizzard up here it wouldn’t have worked, my cover would have been blown when at least 3 guards were down, the rest would notice they were missing and report it, but that was not the case here.

I made my way down to the tents, no one was outside, I headed over to Celias tent and crawled inn.

I unstealthed in front of her, she was shocked to see me.

“I will get you out of here, come!” I whispered.

She was lying in a bed, Celia teared up and didn’t want to look at me.

“Celia?”

“Go, get out of here before they find you, there is no way back for me…”

“What are you saying?”

“The things I have done in this world to survive….i was alone and afraid, I had no one to go to, I got recruited by these people and I could use my skills here as well as I did in the real world so that’s what I did.”

A silent pause

“I have captured people for money and status”

“You didn’t have a choice! You wanted to survive like everyone else, but now that I am here you can get out, what do you say? Let’s get going?”

“If I leave they will track me down until I and everyone I know are dead, I won’t risk your life over my mistakes, I saw your friends earlier, I couldn’t stand watching you and your friends laughing and smiling, made me jealous. I didn’t know it was you at that point until I heard you talk about Zane and that stance during the arena.”

“I don’t want you to stay with these people! We have always been together! Life and death scenarios! I don’t care if they are going to kill me, if you stay here much longer you are the one who is going to get killed!”

She started crying.

“Please stop saying things like that! Like your life doesn’t matter, I won’t go with you! I won’t put your life at risk! Now get away from here please!

You are the one who thinks your life doesn’t matter…Stupid.

Another silent pause.

"How did you survive, the bunker attack? I have to know."

"I figured we wouldent have enough time, so i held them off, i ran around the facilty, then one of the scientists saw me and waved me to him, to a safe room, but there wasent enough food, after a while i decided to join Felia, there was no other way of getting out of there."

We could hear footsteps

“Shhh!” I stealthed and waited.

A guy entered the tent.

“What is going on in here?” The guy asked as his head was sticking inside the tent.

“I just woke up after having a bad dream” Celia said as she was rubbing her eyes to get the tears away.

“We will get going in a few hours, go back to sleep then.” He went back out.

“I won’t give up on you, I will do whatever it takes to get you back, even if I have to get my hands covered in blood during the process. One day I will come for you and then I will be ready to defend you, I promise, just believe in me and wait till the day comes and be ready”

“Sky….”

“Stay alive”

I was invisible so she couldn’t see my tears as I left the tent.

One of the worst moments of my life as i left the camp without her.
