Simon took refuge in their cafeteria, trying to cool off. Iota Crucis stormed in and made a beeline toward him.

"What the hell was that all about?!" she yelled. "I thought you were in Lancashire with Jervis and Christopher!"

Simon shrugged, “Things got handled quickly; I was in the neighborhood to say hi--!”

"Don't play dumb with me! This situation is very sensitive!" Iota Crucis said. "You are running your mouth, calling out the Third Rev! The last thing we need is to motivate them to attack another city!"

"Don't tell me what to do to, little girl. I'm not one of your pre-teen grunts. I am a grown-ass man who has real bureaucracy! So you better know where you stand!” Simon warned.

Iota Crucis couldn't help but smile, "You know what... I get it, Simon. I get it. I would be mad, too. You would rather be anywhere else but here and deal with the victims. Well, you and everyone else, but it is necessary. It's easy-going after perpetrators instead." She analyzed.

Then, Simon’s phone rang, and he already knew who it was as he dreaded answering it, “What?”

"Have you lost your damn mind? Your little threat made international news!" Jervis yelled.

So loudly that Iota Crucis could hear it. She shook her head and left.

"You didn't need me. My team had their instructions. Lancashire was already flipped--"

"If you had stayed, it wouldn't have been the case! We intersected them, Simon. They took them down, but there are still some people missing!" Jervis yelled.

“Then, I was proven right... You didn’t need me, so you went here.” Simon lofted.

"We had this conversation back at the castle! I'm not going to repeat myself. You are not a child, but you are not a crusader either. Do not compromise this investigation." Jervis warned as he hung up.

Simon knew he was in hot water, and his assistance would have benefited Lancashire. To make matters worse, they planned what to do, and he was to not interfere with the raid. Jervis felt Simon had an ulterior motive to fly across the ocean unsupervised on an ongoing international case.

Simon stormed out of the room, but Iota Crucis tried to follow him; she received a call. It was Mu Crucis.

She answered it, “Talk to me, love.”

“Stop saying that in public, it’s embarrassing! And don’t you even pick up the phone anymore?!” Mu Crucis nagged.

But Iota Crucis ignored her, “Your voice sounds like you haven’t threw up. Yet.”

“I went to the back offices…” Mu Crucis admitted.

“Never change, love...” Iota Crucis mocked.

“No, they were people still fucking there! It was horrible!” Mu Crucis complained. “Also, I discovered something major: their clientele records. Names, bank accounts, donations, gifts. Everything.”

“Okay, keep doing what you are doing. When Queenie comes by, we will tell her what we got. This is only the beginning.”

“Right, but where is this Bennett that Selena has been talking about?” Mu Crucis wondered.

“Her insider? Probably got exposed and sent home. Political bullshit, I guess.” Iota Crucis.

“Joke’s on them since we will be getting the gold stars,” Mu Crucis gloated.

“Not even important, love. Later.”
