Kanashi Sarumalder, an 18 year old boy from the Desert City Azhar is the sole survivor of its destruction.  He's  adopted by the Venator Society a world spanning organization for the purpose of researching the cause of Azhars destruction as well as his means of survival. Suddenly being thrust into a world of sword and sorcery Kanashi must ready himself to fight in a world war the likes of which has not been seen since the Rule of the Dark Lord Murlock 2500 years ago.
