Chapter 12: Fountain

Chapter 12: Fountain

Jenny and Machi made their way to Zoolong's humble abode. They had heard of his wisdom and sought his counsel regarding the mysterious necklace they had stumbled upon.

Zoolong greeted them with a warm smile, his eyes twinkling with curiosity. "Ah, welcome, my friends. I have been expecting you," he said, his voice gentle and soothing. "I am Zoolong, Boolong's brother. How may I assist you?"

Jenny and Machi exchanged a quick glance before Machi stepped forward, presenting the necklace to Zoolong. "Zoolong, we found this necklace, and we believe it has something to do with the Toy Guardians. Can you shed some light on its purpose?"

Zoolong's eyes widened slightly as he examined the necklace without touching it. "Ah, the Toy Guardians, enigmatic beings of great power. I, however, cannot meddle with their artifacts," he explained with a hint of regret. "But fear not, my friends, for I can offer you guidance."

Machi leaned in, his curiosity piqued. "Please, Zoolong, tell us what we can do with this necklace. How can we use it to reach the Toy Guardians?"

Zoolong nodded, his gaze steady and serene. "To request an audience with the Second Toy Guardian, you must deposit the necklace in the central fountain of your current level. Each level of the prison is equipped with its own fountain, which serves as a direct channel to the Toy Guardians. Simply cast the necklace into the water, and they will be alerted to your presence."

The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.

Curiosity burning within her, Jenny turned to Zoolong, her voice filled with anticipation. "Zoolong, do you happen to know who the Second Toy Guardian is?"

Zoolong's eyes twinkled with a hint of knowledge. "Indeed, the Second Toy Guardian is known as Oya," he replied, his voice laced with intrigue.

Machi leaned closer, his brows furrowing. "Who is Oya? What kind of Toy Guardian is he?"

Zoolong's smile held a touch of mystery. "Oya is but a child with a stick. Beyond that, my knowledge fades. The secrets of the Toy Guardians remain shrouded in enigma."

Jenny and Machi exchanged puzzled glances, their minds racing with questions. Who was this child-like Toy Guardian, and what significance did he hold in their journey? The answers eluded them, leaving them hungry for more knowledge.

With gratitude in their hearts, Jenny and Machi bid farewell to Zoolong and left the shop. They made their way to the central fountain, the necklace clutched tightly in their hands. Standing before the shimmering waters, they contemplated their next move.

Jenny's gaze flickered with uncertainty. "Machi, are we truly ready to take this step? What awaits us once we throw the necklace into the water?"

Machi's determination shone through his eyes. "Jenny, we've come so far, overcoming every obstacle together. We have to trust in the guidance we've received. Let's have faith that this is the path we need to take."

A resolute nod passed between them. With a collective breath, they released the necklace, watching as it sank beneath the surface. Ripples spread, carrying their intentions to the Toy Guardians, their presence now known.

As the ripples faded, Jenny and Machi exchanged a mixture of excitement and apprehension. They had taken a leap of faith, casting their hopes into the depths of the fountain. What lay ahead was uncertain, but they were prepared to face whatever challenges awaited them.
