Chapter 10: Transmigration and Awakening.

Chapter 10: Transmigration and Awakening.

Jafar Kalifa awoke with a jolt, disoriented and shaken up. He clutched his head between his hands trying to relieve the splitting headache hammering against his skull.

Sitting up gingerly from the rough rattan bed he found himself lying on, he looked around blurrily in apparent confusion and pain.

Jafar tried recalling the last thing he did when he awoke in this strange environment.

As he rose from the bed, he inadvertently stumbled and fell to the earthen floor.

His body felt too weak and feeble, as he tried lifting himself back up he discovered to his shock that his body size didn't seem right, and the ragged silk clothing he had on, he couldn't remember putting on.

Jafar was taken aback and once again tried recalling how he got into a room that looked way worse than his apartment.

When suddenly, he was hit with a soul tearing pain that knocked him unconscious.

.....

Rousing from his unconscious state, delirious and still feeling weak, Jafar held his throbbing head in pain, shaking his head slightly to relieve it.

He looked around and noticed that he was currently in an abode constructed of bricks made from red baked clay with a thatched roof.

He could hear the sounds of wild animals and the chirps of birds, sounds you will normally associate with the Jungle or a forest.

Disoriented and feeling puzzled at the lack of the ever-present hustle and bustle of the city, he surveyed his surroundings, when he was once again hit with a fierce headache but this time he just grits his teeth and bore through the pain.

Trying to figure out where the hell he was and if he had been abducted by little green men, Jafar was suddenly assaulted with a deluge of foreign memories, and for a moment he stood there staring blankly at the sun-dried brick clay wall.

Jafar was currently trying to make sense of the download of memories that had suddenly appeared in his mind.

Amazed, bewildered and with bulging eyes, Jafar realized that he was completely and royally F****ed, the reason being that he had reincarnated into the body of a 19-year-old boy called Tuthra-Utet-Ankh-Khotan-Ramun, in a place called Stygia.

From the memory dump, he found out that the Stygian's predominantly worshipped a god, and not just any god, the Elder God Set, Apocalypse, The Great Serpent, Leviathan, Apep whatever the f*** you want to call him.

That wasn't the problem though, the problem was the memories related to that name.

No no no no, it wasn't enough that Set should remain a fiction of the imagination, No the asshole just had to be the worst version of himself.

The city he lived in Khemi, was the religious center of Stygia, and the god they predominantly worshipped and took as their everything, was Set.

Set was Known as an Elder God, created at the dawn of life on the planet, by the sentient bio-sphere known as the [Demiurge], the "The Serpent God" they call him.

"Hehehe," Laughing maniacally and with great distress, Jafar recalled certain keywords within his new set of memories that sent him spiraling further into despair.

[Celestials], Fwwooooosh!

[Wakandians], rattle!

[Elder Gods ], Baaam!!

[Atlantis], Booooommmm!!

And the final nail in his proverbial coffin that sealed it all,

[Agamotto, the All-seeing], Kaaaaboooomm!

Jafar was silently wishing that this was all a dream, as scenes of his gruesome death at the hands of tremendously powerful ancient beings ran through his mind.

He had hoped that these were just tales made by primitive humans with too much time on their hands, only to shake his head ruefully and accept that he was well and truly F***ed.

He had to reluctantly admit that he had transmigrated into the Marvel universe.

The degree to how well his goose was cooked could not be ascertained at the moment as there was little to no information.

The boy he had transmigrated into was from an aristocrat merchant family in the coastal city of Khemi.

Ramun's [Jafar] father, Tuthra-Utet-Ankh-Khotan, was a strict middle-aged man married to three women, each from different clans and of different statuses.

His mother Akila was the last wife of his father, sometimes when his predecessor looked at her he could tell that she was a woman with a history from the way she carried herself.

Although she hid it well, there were times when she acted as a queen, instead of the wife of a merchant.

But those times were rare, if not scarce, as it only occurred when she thought no one was looking.

Amunet and Nebit, his father's other First and Second wives respectively, also hailed from prominent aristocratic clans from the capital city of Stygia, Luxur.

Along with his father, mother as well as stepmothers, Ramun had four siblings from his father's wives too, two boys from Amunet, a boy and a girl from Nebit.

.....

Ramun being the last born of the household, was treated as such.

Basically, he had no responsibilities and was given a certain degree of levity, or as much as he could within a very strict environment like Khemi.

So with this freedom came idleness, which led to mischief, which also led to promiscuity, ultimately leading to his death and Jafar crossing over.

From his memories, he had died between the legs of a buxom temple temptress, and happily at that.

[Lucky Bastard! What a way to go.]

"Ahhhhhh," Ramun sighed heavily in frustration.

"At least his family weren't slaves," He consoled himself.

He took a moment to get his bearings, when he suddenly felt that he forgot something very important, and quite significant to every dimension-hopper.

"His golden finger!!"Ramun exclaimed.

Where the hell is my Grandpa in a ring?" Ramun asked no one in particular, as he looked on his person for any artifact that could possess untold power.

He sat cross-legged on the rattan mat and tried looking in his soul and dantian for any world-shaking, earth-shattering power that could make him instantly overpowered.

"....., "Hold on.

[F**********k].

"I am probably dumbest otaku ever, how will I face my brethren, my people, my kyodai, back home if they ever hear of this "Ramun wiped imaginary tears from his eyes.

Jokes apart, for a recently reincarnated African-American male infected heavily with the Otaku virus, the stupidity of his actions astounded even him, how do you interact with something you have never seen, sensed or touched before?

Ramun searched for any difference in his body that could enable him to easily decimate any supernatural entity that came within spitting distance of him.

He was gradually getting disappointed at the results of his frenzied search, of which were, nothing, nada, zilch.

As he sat there morosely, he heard a sound in his heard.

[Ding!!]

Ramun thought he was hallucinating.

He tried listening for the sound again when he heard an electronic voice in his mind,

[Library of Sages Path Initiating...]

[Sytsem is now binding to host soul]

[10%, 20%, ....50%, 80%, 100%....]

[Library of Sages Path initiated...]

[Good Morning Host...]

Ramun stared in disbelief at the message floating in front of him, wasn't this his precious.

The system was just as he had designed while he had been Jafar on earth.

Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, "Ramun stuttered as he trembled in disbelief and excitement.

His golden finger was his Precious, hallelujah.

[Host please be advised, the system is not the original  made by host]

"What?"

[All answers are within the inventory host]

"A..lright."

["Does host wish to activate the system"?]

YES,  I want to activate the system", Ramun replied in exasperation as well as confusion.

[System Activation in Progress...]

[10%, 20%, ....50%, 80%, 100%.]

Ramun wondered idly what the hell was wrong with his precious asking him asinine questions, mentally of course, totally forgetting that he now had an additional passenger in his soul.

[System Activation complete.]

[Library of Sages Path System is now online...]

[To view your status, Host can say status in his mind].

"Status".

A light blue screen popped up and hovered in front of Ramun as he sat cross-legged on his rattan bed shaking in excitement.

Ramun looked at the floating screen in front of him as it displayed his status",

Blatantly Ignoring the scathing side comments made by the system, Ramun was pleased with what he saw, overall his stats looked pretty good for a teenager.

His stats that dealt with the spirit/soul were higher than normal, which can only be due to him gobbling up the former-Ramun's soul or spirit.

While his maxed out vitality was from all the good food he ate at home.

From his memories it seems like the maxed out stat was from herbal remedies and mixtures.

That was no good, his pleasure from seeing the maxed out stat was gone just as fast as it came.

Due to the frequency of his philandering he had lost a lot of his youthful vigor and vitality.

Although he had a high vitality stat, he had lost his essence which could not be gotten back by just eating herbs and tonics.

It was like a house built on loose sand, which could be blown away by any slight wind.

....

"Why the hell are my charm stats so abysmal?" Ramun thought darkly on a different note.

Ramun perked right back up, when he thought about the system.

Yes he didn't have to worry, as he had the Library of heavens path system.

He had designed the system as a cheat to gain access to broken powers.

Therefore he didn't really care about his below-average charm or his abnormally small  little brother for now." Ramun thought with a scrunched up face, opening his tattered silk robe and looking at his rather small d**k.

[ Don't be fooled, dude is trying really hard not to start bawling, it is frigging hilarious.]

Trying to calm his unsettled emotions, Ramun thought back to his reason for creating the system.

On the surface it looked as if the Library of Sages Path system had been designed for gaming, but that is where you would be very wrong.

The Systems function, as a tool was to devour, analyze, archive, process, and deliver data on all energy forms on different spectrums and dimensions.

As a bonus it was designed to create fictional bloodlines due to gene sequence manipulation.

Qi training manuals and techniques based on different works of fiction were also extrapolated.

It was designed to do the impossible and also be as close to reality as possible.

Because when it all boils down to it matter is made up of energy.

The most important law to ever exist Law of Conservation of Mass/Energy.

[Which states that matter or energy can never be created nor destroyed but can only be transformed from one form to another.]

Using this Law, the system was designed to simply assume all matter to be different states of look energy.

Personal Energies: ki, life force, nen, haki, Spiritual energy

Natural Elemental Energy: Metal, Earth, Wind, Water, Fire, Wood, lightning

Universal Energy: Heaven and earth energy, qi, dark matter, etc.

Esoteric energies such as Emotion, Faith, Karma, and all types related to it were also types of energies but of different frequencies, nature and form.

Ramun pondered for a moment and decided to remove the unwanted stats from the screen, he always hated looking at lists of powers in all those system novels, just very tedious.

System scrap the current display format and form a new one using these parameters ", Ramun ordered...
