i've rehashed some ideas and chipped abit off while adding some new things in. same basic idea as the original, with some lines being changed.

A golden lion over 10 meters in length stood in a cave, eyeing off a human baby as it it was looking at a fearsome opponent. Suddenly the baby rolled over onto its stomach, startling the lion, causing it to jump back to over 10 meters away. He stared at the baby intensely for a few minutes, as if waiting for it to do something, but all it did was stare back at him with his big blue eyes.

A light laugh resounded through the air coming from the lion, as if ashamed of himself for being scared of a baby. Suddenly, the lion stood up on his two rear legs, and started to shrink in size. His body had changed, and he now resembled a human male almost 2 meters tall. Crimson red hair swayed down his back against his black robe, with sharp golden eyes seemingly devoid of any kindness.

He walked up to the baby, eyeing the room to make sure no one was around before he reached down, grabbing the baby's left leg and lifting him into the air. They were currently eye level, as the man seemed to be inspecting him. The baby had appeared out of no where, causing him immense shock and confusion. No matter how hard he tried to find something unusual about the baby, there was nothing. He bobbed the baby up and down as if to coax a reaction, but instead, the baby vomited. White bile covered the mans black robe. His eyes twitched as his clothes disappeared, with a new pair instantly reappearing on his body. 

Shaking his head, he looked at the baby one last time before putting him down, but when the baby was about to touch the ground, his eyes sparkled. They shone like the stars in the sky, seemingly filled with infinite space. This luster only lasted for a moment, but it couldn't escape the mans eyes. The man lifted the baby back up, readjusting his grip to hold him properly. He stared at the little black haired blue eyed baby for 5 minutes, and after a while, his cold, expressionless face was covered with a bright smile.

"Dez" said the man in a soft voice, trying not to startle the baby. After a few seconds a woman in a white robe, with a hood covering her face appeared kneeling behind him. Removing her hood, "yes mas....." she started, but seeing the scene in front of her, she couldn't help but stop. Shock and confusion visible in her eyes as he mouth lay agape. This was the first time she had ever seen her master smile in such a way. She stared on, shifting her head from her master to the baby in his arms. She didn't know what it was about this baby, as he looked ordinary. Yet this seemingly ordinary baby had caused her master to have such an expression. She shook her head as if to clear her thoughts, before looking back at her master. 

Finally the man turned to face her, his smile disappearing. "Run into town and grab a few humans who know how to care for children, and find out what we need to keep him fed and healthy. Take Rase with you to carry everything." As soon as he looked back to the boy, the mans cold demeanor disappeared once again. Dez opened her mouth to talk when the mans voice echoed in her head " Now!". He sounded very stern, not giving her a chance to speak. She gave a respectful bow before her body shook, and she disappeared.

The mans eyes still on the baby as he was pinching his cheeks, smiling as he looked at the baby's uncomfortable expression, seeming to find teasing him funny. He looked up at the skylight like hole in the cave ceiling, staring at the stars above. Thinking back to someone he once knew, with eyes very similar to the baby's.
