"Host is ready! Host is ready! So then, let's get ready!" 44 gleefully chirped as it pounces onto Ray. Its fluffy cotton-like tail wagged cheerfully as a bright golden light enveloped them.

Ray felt something tugging at his soul as he closes his eyes in response to the blinding golden sheen. He felt as if there was something that was being taken out of his body yet a feeling that his entire body was still intact. Soon, he felt as if he was being pushed into a container. But, it did not feel as uncomfortable as it sounds. It felt like a perfect fit.

When Ray opened his eyes again, he found himself staring at a light blue ceiling. He sat up and found himself in an unfamiliar room and on a bed. He then looked around to find various posters taped on the world, with most seeming to be related to video games. There were several figurines on the wooden cabinets as well. At the desk on his right was a high-end computer fitted with various recording materials, all seeming to be of decent quality. Ray blinked several times and assumed his occupation currently. He was probably someone who makes videos on the internet.

44 soon appeared beside him with its ever high pitched cheery voice. "RayRay! Doesn't this world seem so familiar to you? Even though it may not be the Earth you know, but it still resembles Earth! I've specially picked this to be the first one you enter so that you can easily adapt to how the system works!" 44 twirled around Ray in a bubbly manner. "You see, RayRay is now inhabiting the body of a minor character in this world! His name is Ray Tan and he is a popular streamer on the platform called Pwitch!"

"A streamer?" Ray started to worry. "I don't have experience in streaming. Won't I be out of character?"

44 pulled its ears down and looked away. "Ah. I have forgotten to give you his memories. " As soon as 44 uttered that, Ray suddenly blanked out. Ray lifted himself up and made his way to the washroom that was attached to the room. Despite having another's memories in him, he felt that it was more like watching a movie. However, there were some daily routines his body couldn't shake off. He stood in front of the mirror and 'admired' his appearance. Bleached hair with dark red highlights, face with caked with white foundation and eyes lined with an extreme black. What kind of joke is this? Wasn't he supposed to be a streamer? Shouldn't he look, well, not so ridiculous?

44 snickered by his side. "The original owner of the body initially did this as a challenge but ended up really liking the style."

The world that Ray was newly assigned to was a world similar to the Earth Ray knows. A familiar modern cityscape and fast-paced life. However, gaming in this world could be said to be on a different level from the Earth Ray knows. There exists some sort of virtual reality gaming console that transports your consciousness into the game. Once you're in the game, you can use all your senses to feel your surroundings, as if you were transported into the game itself. However, you won't feel any pain from getting hurt in the game. The console is called the VRdive, made by a company called Pierce Games. Truly a black horse in the gaming community.

The male lead is a famous gaming streamer that goes by the name of Solar99 and is known for his skills in VR gaming, in a particular game called Celestial Land. His real identity is Chen ZhiFan and is the son of the CEO of Pierce Games. The female lead is called Anne Su and is a regular white-collared worker who earns a decent amount of money to support herself.

The two main leads were childhood friends and always had an ambiguous aura around them. However, after a glimpse of Anne in one of ZhiFan's streams, fans started to hunt for her identity. Initially, the fans were very accommodating to her, praising her for her cheery social media and bright appearance. Soon, there were many sorts of dirty rumors that were spread online, accusing Anne of being a deplorable person and having a disgusting personality. Afraid of their male idol being influenced by Anne, they constantly sent death threats and hate messages to her, in hopes that she would leave ZhiFan alone. Ray didn't feel comforted by 44's words at all. He merely sighed and went to the computer at his desk. He searched around the desktop for a while, trying out a few games here and there. It seems like the original owner only play PC games. He was still saving up money to buy the famous VRdive. It seems that because he was one of the rare streamers who stream PC games, he was able to build up an audience. Most of the male fans love him for his personality while the female fans were initially enamored by his above-average appearance before the cruel thick makeup.

"Ray! Ray! Someone is approaching the door!" 44 suddenly squeaked.

A light and refreshing female voice sounded from behind the door as there were some light knocking. "Cousin, are you in? Riri? "

Scanning through his memories, Ray quickly recognized the lady behind the door. It was Anne Su. His identity was Anne Su's precious younger cousin. In the original's memory, Anne was always regarded as that naggy older sister. The original would act spoilt with her and even sometimes get mad at her for the most trivial of reasons.

Ray hurriedly opened the door to welcome Anne in. "Sister Anne..." His voice held a slightly awkward tone to it as he put up a strained smile.

"Hm? You're not ready to go out yet?" The girl had long black hair and slightly tanned skin. Despite having such a soft-spoken voice in front of Ray, her appearance seems to be fitting of a strong and independent lady. She seemed so professional in her pencil skirt and black blazer. Her face, even without makeup, was still stunning enough to make people on the street give her a second glance. "You should quickly dress up, I'm bringing you out to meet my friends today."

Ray sheepishly laughed before going to the closet. He hurriedly picked a neatly ironed blue striped shirt and a pair of jeans before shutting the toilet door. When he went back to the room, Anne's eyes were wide with surprise. She scanned Ray from top to toe before grinning. His youthfulness was amplified by the clothes he was wearing. Young and dashing indeed. "I didn't expect you to wear the clothes I had bought for you."

"Well, um... Sister Anne, let's go now." He gently nudged Anne towards the main door. When he skimmed through the closet earlier, the only clothes that seemed comfortable to wear were these. The original mostly had black turtlenecks and black pants. Why is everything black? It makes Ray feel so dull! This flower boy should take better care of his appearance! Ray touched his hair and sighed heavily. "Sister, I want to dye my hair to brown..."

"44 sense the male lead close by!" The forgotten little blue rabbit squeaked once again. Ray was surprised, giving 44 a face that says 'Anne is right beside me!'

"There they are!" Anne tugged on Ray's sleeve tightly, causing Ray to almost fall. His head quickly turned to where Anne was facing, a bench by the streets. There was a tall elegant man with extremely good looks though his eyes had been covered with a pair of sunglasses. Even Ray could not help but stare at him for several seconds. Beneath those sunglasses, Li ZhiFan possessed a well-chiseled face with defining looks, a well-built body under his casual grey t-shirt and denim jeans, and an astounding height of what seems to be around 188cm. His whole body seemed to relax when he caught sight of Anne. "Oh."

Beside ZhiFan was a brown-haired girl with a petite figure. She wore a face mask along with a pair of circular glasses. She had donned a beige sweater with a matching pastel pink skirt. She also wore a matching brown beret. From looks itself, she seemed to have a sort of cutesy-esque charm, the kind that makes you want to protect her. Ray internally swooned when he saw her. This is the kind of girl that he likes! His ideal type definitely! She has a completely different charm when compared to Anne. When the girl saw Anne and Ray, she smiled and waved, each action showing gentleness.

Ray quickly smiled back. Meeting both the leads made Ray feel nervous but seeing that there was his ideal type attached to the package made him feel that this was actually a blessing in disguise.
