INTRODUCTION:
THIS CHAPTER EXPLORES THE TIMELINE OF EVENTS IN THE PRECURSOR VERSE, TRACING THE ORIGINS OF EXISTENCE AND THE FORCES THAT SHAPED THE COSMOS. IT DELVES INTO THE EMERGENCE OF HIGHER DIMENSIONAL ENTITIES, THEIR INTERACTIONS, AND THE PIVOTAL MOMENTS THAT LAID THE FOUNDATION FOR ALL CREATION. FROM THE VOID’S SILENCE TO THE BIRTH OF CREATION ITSELF, AS THIS CHAPTER OUTLINES THE SEQUENCE OF EVENTS THAT FORMED THE VERY FABRIC OF EXISTENCE.
THE TIMELINE FOCUSES ON THE JOURNEY OF THE TRUE WRITER, CHRONICLING HIS LIFE AS A MORTAL AND HIS PATH TO GODHOOD. BEGINNING WITH HIS MORTAL DAYS AND THE FRIENDSHIPS AND BETRAYALS THAT SHAPED HIM, THE NARRATIVE FOLLOWS HIS PIVOTAL FINAL BATTLE WITH JORDAN, HIS FORMER BEST FRIEND, WHICH LED TO HIS ULTIMATE FALL FROM MORTALITY. IT CONCLUDES WITH HIS FATED MEETING WITH KAHA, MARKING THE MOMENT HE TAKES HIS FIRST STEPS TOWARD RECLAIMING HIS DIVINE NATURE. WHILE TOUCHING ON SELECT EVENTS BEYOND HIS DIRECT INFLUENCE, THE TIMELINE REMAINS CENTERED ON THE TRUE WRITER’S ROLE IN SHAPING CREATION AND HIS CYCLES OF LOSS, REDISCOVERY, AND TRANSCENDENCE.
BEFORE CREATION:
Before the dawn of creation, there was only an endless void named the unknown, a boundless expanse of absolute nothingness, devoid of time, space, or meaning. From this primordial emptiness arose three beings, each embodying a fundamental concept that would shape the nature of all existence: The Beginning, The End, and What Remains.
These beings, though nameless at first, were forces of unimaginable power and purpose. In time, they would take names to reflect their roles in the tapestry of reality:
* The True Writer, also known as Creation, embodied The Beginning and the greatest good. A luminous presence of boundless energy and imagination, The True Writer sought to bring order, life, and beauty into the void. Its radiance represented infinite potential and the spark of existence itself.
* Lordanis, known as The End, was the essence of Destruction and the greatest evil. A force of chaos and finality, Lordanis sought to unmake all that could exist, wrapping itself in an aura of consuming darkness and malice. It was the inevitable harbinger of decay and ruin, the end to all beginnings.
* Yuki Yukishiro, embodying Entropy, was the enigmatic force of What Remains, the in-between state that lingers when all is undone. Neither good nor evil, Yuki was a paradoxical entity that straddled existence and nonexistence. Its form was ever-shifting, subtle, and deeply mysterious, wielding the powers of both creation and destruction.
These three entities coexisted within the endless void, their distinct natures defining the boundaries of potential reality. However, their contradictory essences could not remain in harmony. The True Writer’s urge to create clashed with Lordanis’s drive to destroy, while Yuki Yukishiro remained a neutral arbiter, its enigmatic presence holding the balance yet hinting at a deeper, unknowable purpose.
Their existence marked the first stirrings within the void, an upheaval that set the stage for their inevitable conflict. This clash would become the genesis of all things, as the interplay of creation, destruction, and entropy wove the fabric of what would become known as Creation, a realm born of light, shadow, and the echoes of the infinite void.
From this fateful moment, the endless void was no longer empty, and the saga of existence began.
THE THIRD CREATION: THE UNKNOWN AND THE BOUNDLESS COSMOS
After the birth of Kaha and The Fallen One, Creation’s next act of creation was the most significant and grand in its scale: all of Creation itself. This immense creation would be known as The Unknown, or in the ancient tongue, Te Moana Nui o ngā Ao Whāiti.
At the highest and most sacred level of Creation stood Te Rangi Tōnui, the Great Sky Beyond. This cosmic sky was so vast, so utterly unattainable, that even Te Rākau Pūmau o te Ao, the Eternal Tree of Creation could not reach it. It represented the pinnacle of Creation’s boundless potential, a realm beyond all boundaries, embodying the limitless grandeur and ambition of its Creator.
Below the Great Sky Beyond lay The Ao Pūrākau Runga, the Higher Narrative Realms. These realms were the branches of the Eternal Tree of Creation and were governed by the Tūmatauenga Kaitahi, the Supreme Narrators. These beings wielded unimaginable power, born from the very essence of imagination and story. They could shape the fabric of creation itself, crafting entire creations from their will. Events, characters, and destinies, every element of these fictional realms existed at the whim of the Supreme Narrators. In this role, they exemplified the creativity and endless potential of Creation’s design.
Supporting these higher realms was Kāwai Tūhononga, the Branch of Connection, representing the trunk of the Eternal Tree of Creation. Within this structure existed Platonic realms, abstract and idealized spaces that formed the fundamental essence of existence.
Here are some example realms:
* Whakapapa o Te Kore, the Genealogy of the Unknown, where the flow of life began.
* The Land of Dreams, where dreams were born and shaped.
* Kāinga Mākutu, the Home of Magic, as the source of all magic.
* Te Pūtakenga o te Ao, the Origin of Worlds, where creation first sparked.
* Te Rangi Tūhāhā, Heaven, embodying celestial peace and harmony.
* Wāhi Pātea, Hell, representing chaos and opposition.
Lastly, encompassing and connecting all these realms was Te Moana Nui o ngā Ao Whāiti, the Great Ocean of the Multiverses. This infinite, cosmic sea represented the roots of the Eternal Tree of Creation, extending outward to hold every multiverse, every reality, and every possibility. It was here that the Many Worlds Interpretation of quantum mechanics came to life: each
decision, quantum event, or possibility birthed a new reality, adding another thread to the ever-evolving tapestry of the infinite multiverse.
The Great Ocean was dynamic, overflowing with potential, and served as the foundation for all that was and would ever be. It was within this vast, boundless expanse that the seeds of existence took root, and Creation’s vision began to unfold.
Sometime After Creation Was Made:
Time flowed steadily within the vast expanse of Creation, and everything seemed to progress as intended. The True Writer, the embodiment of creation and the greatest good, watched over their work, granting it the freedom to flourish and evolve on its own. He took joy in observing the infinite multiverses as they expanded and contracted, their cycles of birth and rebirth unfolding countless times. The multiverses, shaped by the Big Bang and destroyed in great cosmic collapses, had already started over millions of times, forming new worlds and possibilities with each iteration.
Though he was the ultimate creator, The True Writer found themselves drawn to the simple yet profound experiences of the mortal realms. Out of curiosity and a growing sense of wonder, they would occasionally take on a mortal form and venture into these worlds. Life as a mortal intrigued them, the fleeting moments of joy, the resilience in the face of hardship, and the deep connections formed in their finite lives offered a perspective unlike any they had known.
Over time, this fascination grew into something deeper. The True Writer began to consider stepping away from their role as the overseer of all Creation, tempted by the idea of living fully as a mortal and immersing themselves in the world they had built. The thought of relinquishing their duties in favor of experiencing life’s simplest moments filled them with both excitement and uncertainty.
During these explorations, they formed a bond with King Draco, the first dragon. Together, they created the Vermillion Realm during a legendary battle, a realm born of respect and strength. The True Writer shared their wisdom with Draco and his kin, teaching them the balance of creation and existence.
Unbeknownst to The True Writer, their growing interest in mortal existence did not go unnoticed. Lordanis, the embodiment of destruction and the greatest evil, observed this shift with a calculating eye. Recognizing an opportunity to sow discord, Lordanis began to plot a course of action that would alter Creation forever. Their plan would exploit The True Writer’s vulnerability, setting events into motion that would leave a lasting scar on existence itself.
This turning point in the story of Creation would soon bring challenges and turmoil, testing the balance between light and dark in ways that even The True Writer could not foresee.
The Eternal Cycle
The event known as The Eternal Cycle became one of the most tragic and defining moments in the history of Creation. It began when Lordanis, the embodiment of destruction, sought to claim the limitless power of The True Writer, enlisting his elite High Guard to execute his plan.
While Kaha, the first angel, and The Fallen One valiantly fought against the High Guard, The True Writer acted decisively, sealing Lordanis’s destructive power within a relic to contain his threat. In a desperate countermeasure, Lordanis bound The True Writer's divine essence within himself. The resulting clash drained both of their powers, casting them into the mortal multiverses as ordinary mortals.
Stripped of their memories and divinity, they were doomed to live countless lives in the original universe, unaware of their cosmic origins. In each lifetime, they would cross paths by fate's design and, for reasons unique to each existence, become enemies. Their conflicts would always culminate in one killing the other, perpetuating an endless cycle of death and rebirth without either ever realizing the true nature of their connection.
This relentless pattern of violence and renewal stands as a haunting testament to the enduring struggle between creation and destruction.
Aftermath of the Chaos:
After an intense battle, Kaha and The Fallen One managed to defeat Lordanis's High Guard. Together, they stripped the High Guard of their power and sealed them away deep within the Hinengaro Nohonga, a mysterious and hidden realm. The seal was designed to ensure they would remain imprisoned for a very long time, if not forever.
While their victory brought a sense of relief, it also left behind an uneasy calm. The events had shaken creation to its core, and although the immediate threat was neutralized, the scars of the conflict would linger, a reminder of the fragile balance between order and chaos.
The Old Eldritch Dragon Wars
After a period of uneasy peace, the dragons of the Vermillion Realm found themselves in conflict with ancient eldritch beings. This war, which would last 20 years, became one of the most destructive in the history of creation.
Facing a formidable and otherworldly enemy, King Draco sought answers in the old scrolls left behind by Lordanis. Within these forbidden texts, he discovered the knowledge to craft a new and devastating form of dragon magic: Ruce'Khaz'Rûn, "The Dark Language of Absolute Destruction." This potent and destructive magic became the ultimate weapon in the dragons' arsenal, giving them the edge they needed to fight back against the eldritch beings.
With the power of Ruce'Khaz'Rûn, King Draco and his army relentlessly pushed the eldritch beings to the brink of extinction. In their final act of victory, the dragons destroyed the home
realm of the eldritch beings, leaving it a barren void, devoid of life and meaning. Though victorious, the war left scars upon the Vermillion Realm and its people, as they grappled with the consequences of wielding such absolute power.
Te Tahi and Jordan Ellis: The 23,487th Reincarnation of good and evil
In the quiet town of Diamond, nestled in Queensland, Australia, two twelve-year-old boys, Te Tahi and Jordan Ellis, lived simple lives. It was late 2018, and the world around them seemed ordinary, but their intertwined destinies as reincarnations of The True Writer and Lordanis hinted at extraordinary things to come.
Their peaceful existence was shattered as World War III erupted, culminating in a nuclear apocalypse that left the world in ruins. The small town of Diamond wasn’t spared, as a nuclear strike west of it unleashed devastating radiation.
Te Tahi, unknowingly carrying fragments of his divine power, miraculously resisted the radiation. This awakening not only saved his life but unknowingly extended to Jordan, whose survival from radiation sickness was owed to the healing influence of Te Tahi's latent abilities.
Unaware of the true nature of their bond or their ancient history, the boys found themselves thrust into a harsh, desolate world. Together, they began navigating the aftermath, trying to rebuild some semblance of life amidst the devastation, unaware of the ancient forces still at play beneath the surface of their shared journey.
Ten Years Later:
The world had changed beyond recognition. Te tahi and Jordan Ellis had survived the devastation of World War Three and the horrors that followed. The two boys, now young men, had roamed across the desolate west of Australia for a decade. They had faced countless dangers, including deadly mutants, hostile humans, and creatures mutated by radiation. Yet, against all odds, they had thrived.
Te tahi, having unlocked just 1% of his hidden power, had become a near-unstoppable force. His body had transformed into something extraordinary, allowing him to achieve feats beyond the realm of ordinary humans. His strength could bring down mountains with a single punch, and his speed was unmatched. His combat skills had been honed through years of training in martial arts, including Boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai and Krav Maga, taught by a seasoned US Special Forces operator. But Te tahi had also taken matters into his own hands, learning Kung Fu from self-teaching books in the quiet moments of survival.
These fighting styles became his weapon against the Maralji, horrific mutants that had once been humans but had been warped by the nuclear fallout. The larger and more terrifying forms of these mutants were known as the Warrangurra, monstrous, fused versions of the Maralji, with towering, brutal forms that were unstoppable to most. Te tahi, however, had learned to fight back. Radiation had little effect on him, and his growing power allowed him to face these titanic creatures with the strength to rival them.
Jordan Ellis, on the other hand, had found a different way to survive. His mind, brilliant and resourceful, had adapted to the post-apocalyptic world. Using whatever tech he could salvage from abandoned military facilities, Jordan designed and built combat suits that could protect him from the mutants and allow him to fight back. His Z1 Titan Combat Suit was a marvel of technology, a high-tech symbiotic exoskeleton capable of withstanding immense impacts and firing powerful blasts. With this suit, Jordan could wipe out entire towns of Maralji with a single shot. However, the suit had limitations. It required frequent recharging, and its power source was finite until he discovered a mysterious and elusive energy source known as the Mana Source.
The Mana Source, a glowing orb of raw energy, had the power to absorb mana from its surroundings. This discovery opened a new chapter for Jordan, as he now had access to a renewable energy source that could recharge his suit and make him even stronger. Unknown to both Te tahi and Jordan, however, the energy of the Mana Source was not the only force at play in their world. Te tahi, in his battles, had begun to subconsciously harness mana in his own fights, further unlocking his potential in ways that neither of them could fully comprehend yet.

As they journeyed deeper into this new world, fighting mutants, surviving the elements, and uncovering the secrets of a forgotten civilization, the two boys turned men would face challenges that would push them to their limits. Their bond, forged through shared hardship and survival, would be tested as they discovered that the true nature of their powers and the world they inhabited were far more complex and dangerous than they could have ever imagined.
Unknown Force and New Friends Appear:
As Te tahi and Jordan Ellis continued to explore the ruins of the post-apocalyptic world, they stumbled upon an ancient, hidden message from Te tahi's past lives. This message, deciphered from the forgotten civilization's old texts, warned Te tahi not to trust the "man in metal." The prophecy was a cryptic warning about Jordan, the man who, unbeknownst to Te tahi, was the reincarnation of Lordanis, the greatest evil to ever walk the realms.
Unbeknownst to Te tahi, Jordan had already arrived at the underground city before him. Despite the prophecy, Jordan kept this secret to himself, determined to learn from the old texts in solitude. He saw the prophecy as a challenge rather than a warning, delving deep into the ancient knowledge of the city, where he began to uncover information about his true identity and his dark past.
Both Te tahi and Jordan’s bases were located at the Harold E. Holt Communication Station VLF Towers on the north-west coast of Australia, 6 kilometers (4 miles) north of the town of Exmouth, Western Australia. The base, once a military facility, was now home to both the survivors and the mutant creatures that roamed the land. Maralji and an enormous Warrangurra—twice the size of Mount Meharry, had taken control of the base, its power growing from the remnants of military experiments gone awry. The facility, originally a research and communication base, had become a breeding ground for terrifying mutations.
It would later be revealed that the source of this monstrous power was not from Earth but from an alien Kaiju, a giant beast that had been imprisoned at the base for decades. When the bombs fell and the world was plunged into chaos, the Kaiju was freed, its energy fusing with the army of Maralji and the monstrous Warrangurra surrounding the base. Now, Te tahi, Jordan, and a few newly-found allies would have to face this immense threat together.
With their combined strength, the group would eventually defeat the alien Kaiju and its mutated army, clearing out the remnants of the base. Afterward, Jordan would take it upon himself to repurpose the leftover tech, creating robots to protect the base from any future threats. The once-abandoned facility transformed into a bustling city, a safe haven for survivors where anyone could come and rebuild their lives. Jordan established smaller outposts around the country, designed to allow for faster travel and communication across Australia. The city and its outposts grew into a vital hub for the region's survival.
However, the peace that followed the fall of the Kaiju would be short-lived. A new threat, coming from overseas, would soon make its presence known. This would spark a massive conflict, setting the stage for the next chapter in Te tahi and Jordan's tumultuous relationship. The war that was coming would change the balance of power across the world and challenge both Te tahi and Jordan in ways they could never have predicted.
The Australian Wars:
In the early hours of November 23, 2030, Opal City, a thriving hub that had risen from the ashes of a post-apocalyptic world, was suddenly attacked. The attack was not carried out by a massive army or a group of heavily armed invaders but by a lone figure: a man wearing a mysterious mask, whose mere presence seemed to warp reality itself. He moved with an eerie calm, and with nothing more than a wave of his hand, the very fabric of existence twisted around him.
Despite the devastating effects of the attack, no lives were lost. The people of Opal City were teleported to safety, moved away from the chaos by an unknown force before any real harm could come to them. The city, however, suffered catastrophic damage. Buildings were reduced to rubble, streets torn apart, and large portions of the once-thriving metropolis were left in ruins.
When the dust settled, the masked figure revealed himself as Orion. Standing amidst the wreckage, he declared with a chilling, confident tone that he could have killed everyone in the city but chose not to. His intent was to show them the extent of his power, to make it clear that he was not there to merely destroy, but to take control.
Orion’s voice carried an ominous warning as he continued. In one year, he would return with an army to claim the land, enslave its people, and kill those who resisted. Even with Te Tahi’s unearthly powers and Jordan’s advanced technology, Orion warned that their efforts would be futile. They were insignificant compared to the force he commanded.
He allowed the weight of his words to settle over the stunned populace before delivering a final statement: this was only a preview of what was to come. He was the harbinger of their defeat.
With a final wave of his hand, the destruction he had caused rewound, restoring the city to its previous state as if nothing had happened. Yet, the message remained clear—Orion was powerful, perhaps more so than anyone they had ever encountered, and his army was on its way.
Before anyone could react, Orion vanished into the night, leaving behind only the lingering echo of his threat. The people of Opal City, shaken to their core, now faced an uncertain future. Te Tahi, Jordan, and their allies would need to prepare for the impending war, one that would test their limits and reshape the destiny of Australia.
New Journey:
After the attack, Jordan reported that while half of the city was destroyed, no lives were lost, a stroke of luck in the midst of chaos. However, the countdown has begun: they had only a year before Orion and his army would return. In the wake of the devastation, hundreds of thousands had lost their homes, and Jordan was tasked with the monumental responsibility of rebuilding and reinforcing the city. He informed his best friend Te tahi that he would stay behind to manage the reconstruction while Te tahi and his crew would set out to seek help from other communities across the Outback, many of which had been attacked by Orion as well.
During their journey, Te tahi and his crew encountered and recruited a man named Rion Odagiri, who possessed the rare ability of telekinesis. Rion’s abilities proved invaluable to the team, aiding them in overcoming various challenges and making their journey smoother. As time passed, the team began to accept Rion into their fold, trusting him as a vital member of their group. However, there was one exception, Kanoa Ikaika, the heavy man who carried the big guns. Despite Rion’s usefulness, Kanoa couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off about him. His instincts told him that Rion was hiding something, but he kept his doubts to himself.
In the end, Kanoa’s unease would prove to be justified, though not without a heavy price. His suspicions, which he had acted on too late, would ultimately save Te tahi but at a cost that no one could have predicted.
The Beginning of the End:
Te Tahi's crew managed to rally the scattered communities across the outback, uniting them against Orion’s looming threat. This arduous mission took nearly ten months, fraught with challenges as they fought to gain trust and prove their cause was just. Along the way, Te Tahi met a remarkable sharpshooter named Sofia Rivera, whose unparalleled skill with a sniper rifle and unwavering courage earned her a place within the crew. Sofia and Te Tahi grew close during their journey, and her presence brought a new dynamic to the team.
Once the crew returned to Opal City, a sense of urgency filled the air. Preparations for the inevitable confrontation with Orion’s army began immediately. Meanwhile, Rion, an integral part of the team, was called to a private meeting with Jordan.
In this fateful encounter, Jordan revealed what he had known for some time: Rion’s true identity as Orion, the very man who threatened their city. The room grew tense as Orion cast aside his facade, asking Jordan how he had uncovered the truth. Jordan explained calmly, pointing to the necklace Orion had worn since the attack on the city. The seemingly innocuous relic, in fact, was the source of Orion’s immense power crafted by none other than the dark god Lordanis himself.
Orion, now unmasked, smirked and admitted his deception. He revealed the harrowing truth of his origins: he was not from this timeline. In his own world, Te Tahi and Jordan had been bitter enemies. Te Tahi, in that alternate reality, had risen as a tyrant, forcing Orion’s people including his family into his army as little more than pawns. When Orion attempted to rebel, Te Tahi ordered his execution.
Before Orion could meet his fate, the relic he now carried spoke to him, offering a deal: unimaginable power in exchange for his soul. Desperate to save his people, Orion accepted, but the consequences were catastrophic. The relic transported him to the current timeline, where he was trapped with no way back.
Fueled by hatred and despair, Orion spent years piecing together a plan to return to his timeline and exact vengeance on the man who had betrayed him. The relic told him he needed to bring it to someone known only as the genius to unlock its full potential. For ten years, he wandered, strategizing and gathering strength until he found himself in China.
From there, he began building an army, setting his sights on Opal City as the perfect target. To infiltrate Te Tahi’s crew, Orion orchestrated the destruction of a small village to present himself as a lone survivor. He demonstrated just enough of his telekinetic power to prove his worth without revealing his true capabilities. Over time, he gained the team’s trust feeding vital information back to his forces.
Now, standing face-to-face with Jordan, Orion’s smirk widened as he explained the true extent of his powers.
Orion: “The relic gave me the power of reality itself,” he declared, his voice a chilling mix of pride and anger. “I can manipulate existence, bend, break, create, or destroy. The laws of physics, biology, space-time, matter, energy it’s all mine to command. I can create something from nothing or turn dreams into reality. But,” his tone grew darker, “this power comes at a cost. The dark energy I wield eats away at my body. Use it too much, and it will kill me. A fair price, don’t you think, for the ability to reshape the universe?”.
Before Jordan could act, a third figure stepped out from the shadows, Kanoa Ikaika, the crew’s heavy gunner. Kanoa had been silently following the two, his suspicions about Rion proving true. With a surge of bravery and fury, Kanoa attacked, managing to fatally wound Orion. But Orion’s retaliation was swift and brutal. With a single wave of his hand, Orion unleashed his powers, causing Kanoa to explode from the inside out, his body disintegrating in an instant.
Jordan, stunned and enraged, moved to stop Orion, but the villain only grinned as he unleashed his final gambit. Summoning his army, Orion sent them storming into Opal City, chaos erupting in their wake. In the confusion, Orion escaped into the night, leaving Jordan and the crew to face the full might of his forces.
The battle for Opal City had begun, but the cost of this revelation would haunt Te Tahi and his crew forever.
The attack on Opal City:
The attack on Opal City: Orion’s army launched a brutal assault, killing anyone in their path. Despite reinforcements from the allied groups Te Tahi had rallied, the battle was devastating for both sides. Te Tahi suffered the loss of many friends and was enraged when Jordan revealed that Rion was actually Orion, the one who had killed Kanoa and was now leading the slaughter of his people. Consumed with anger, Te Tahi wanted nothing more than to kill Orion with his bare hands.
Orion’s trump card was revealed: his forces were driving hordes of Maralji and Warrangurra into the city to spread further chaos. Forced to make a choice, Te Tahi prioritized protecting the city and its people by confronting the monstrous mutants. Despite trusting his crew to handle Orion, he couldn’t shake the fear that sending them after him would doom them all.
Once the hordes of Maralji and Warrangurra were mostly taken care of, Te Tahi stumbled upon a scene that would haunt him for years. The lifeless bodies of his friends lay scattered aside from Sofia, who was at the mercy of Orion. Before he could react, she was gone, her death unfolding before his eyes. Tears fell as shock overwhelmed him, his mind desperately clinging to the belief that what he was seeing couldn’t be real.
This gave Orion the chance to exploit his grief, using his powers to inflict excruciating pain on Te Tahi. Orion recounted the same story he had told Jordan, revealing his life back in his original timeline. He confessed his hatred for Te Tahi, a loathing born the moment they met in that small village. Every time he saw Te Tahi’s smile, anger consumed him, it was the same smile his version of Te Tahi had when killing his family and people.
Something inside Te Tahi shattered. A darkness, primal and otherworldly, began to stir within him, threatening to unleash something far beyond comprehension.
Te Tahi’s powers awakened due to the overwhelming emotional stress of losing his friends, transforming him into a massive Warrangurra. In this form, he swiftly overpowered and killed Orion. Meanwhile, Jordan, his robots, and the united efforts of the people managed to defeat Orion’s armies along with the Maralji and Warrangurra, ending the war for good. However, victory came at a devastating cost: 74% of the population was killed, leaving countless children orphaned. The city lay in near-total ruin, and the allied groups also suffered heavy losses.
In the aftermath, Jordan took possession of Orion’s necklace revealed to be the source of his power and disappeared. For weeks, no one saw or heard from Jordan. When Te Tahi finally
emerged from a coma, he awoke to a broken world, his home destroyed, and people struggling to survive. Despite the chaos, Te Tahi instinctively knew where Jordan had gone and set off to find him.
The Battle Between Former Friends:
Te Tahi found Jordan in the small, desolate town of Diamond, where they had both grown up. The once vibrant schoolyard, now reduced to an expanse of cracked earth and desert sand, stood as a haunting reminder of simpler days long gone.
As Te Tahi approached, Jordan stood motionless, his presence exuding an unsettling calm. There was an air of finality about him, as if he had reached a conclusion about his place in the world. He had been contemplating the markings of ancient civilizations buried deep beneath the surface, symbols that spoke of destinies far greater than mortal comprehension. These markings had revealed fragments of a truth tied to alternate versions of themselves, including iterations where they were gods.
Jordan had uncovered the full truth when he claimed the necklace from Orion. The artifact had unlocked long-buried memories, granting him clarity about his past as a divine being and what he believed was his ultimate purpose. His actions during the war had been deliberate. He had been the one to supply Orion with the hordes of Maralji and Warrangurra, sowing chaos as part of a larger plan. After the battle ended, he had recruited Orion’s most trusted and powerful guards beings whose abilities stemmed from mysterious and otherworldly sources.
Jordan’s goals had become clear to him: to access the realm where his divine powers had been sealed and reclaim his former glory. He had promised his newfound allies unimaginable rewards in exchange for their loyalty, knowing they would play a crucial role in achieving his ascension.
Beneath this grand vision lay a bitterness that had festered for years. Even before the bombs fell and the world was plunged into chaos, Jordan had harbored jealousy toward Te Tahi. He resented the powers Te Tahi had been gifted, the admiration he received, and the sense of purpose that seemed to radiate from him. The collapse of their world had been a twisted blessing in Jordan’s eyes, an opportunity to shed his old life and embrace the truth of who he was meant to be.
Jordan had fully cast off his mortal identity. He no longer considered himself the person Te Tahi once knew. He had taken on a new name, Lordanis, and he viewed his transformation as the first step toward reclaiming his rightful place as a god. To him, Te Tahi was nothing more than an obstacle—a relic of a life he had chosen to leave behind.
Te Tahi stood silently, the weight of the betrayal sinking in. The person he had once called a friend had become a stranger consumed by ambition and a hunger for power. The bonds of their shared past were now shattered, replaced by an unbridgeable divide.
The clash between Te Tahi and Lordanis raged for over three grueling hours, a battle that shook the desolate landscape around them. Te Tahi fought with ferocity, his instincts sharpened by
years of survival and combat. Unbeknownst to him, his raw determination triggered the awakening of his mana burst, a latent power that amplified his abilities far beyond their usual limits. For much of the fight, Te Tahi held the upper hand, his newfound strength overwhelming Lordanis.
However, the tides turned when Lordanis summoned his personal guards, a cadre of powerful warriors imbued with mysterious and otherworldly abilities. Their combined force was too much for Te Tahi to withstand. Though he fought valiantly, he was ultimately overpowered and brought to his knees.
Despite his victory, Lordanis chose to spare Te Tahi. There was a cold calculation in his decision; Te Tahi still had a role to play in his grand design. Leaving him battered and defeated, Lordanis departed, taking his guards with him.
Te Tahi was left alone amidst the ruins, broken in body and spirit. His strength had failed him, and now he was without allies, without hope, and without direction. The emptiness of the moment hung heavy in the air, a bitter reminder of how far he had fallen.
New Hope:
This was not the end for Te Tahi. As he lay amidst the wreckage of his defeat, Kaha returned to him—but not in the form he had known. She appeared to him as a transcendent being, an eternal presence who had lived through countless cycles of existence. Her aura radiated a profound power and wisdom, a being who had seen the rise and fall of many worlds.
Te Tahi, still consumed by grief and rage, attempted to fight her. At this point in his life, he had lost everything—his friends, his home, his purpose. His strikes were frantic, fueled by desperation rather than control, but Kaha moved with a calm, effortless grace, evading his every blow. She did not come to harm him but instead came with an offer of guidance.
Through her words, Kaha revealed that Te Tahi’s defeat was not an end, but a necessary part of his journey. She spoke of Lordanis' overwhelming power, of the trials yet to come, and of the untapped potential within Te Tahi that would require unimaginable strength to unlock. But to reach that level of power, he would have to make a choice—to leave behind the remnants of his past, all he knew and loved, and dedicate himself fully to training, to growth, to a new purpose.
Though the weight of her words crushed him, Te Tahi understood. The thought of leaving behind everything—his past life, his memories, his attachments—was agonizing. But the promise of redemption, of a second chance, and of the strength to defeat Lordanis, sparked a flame in his heart. He made the difficult decision to follow Kaha, to forsake everything he had known in order to gain the strength he so desperately needed.
With a heavy heart, Te Tahi bid farewell to the ruins of his past. Kaha, as his mentor, led him down a path of rigorous training, teaching him not only to harness his power but to understand it. Under her guidance, Te Tahi would be transformed, rising from the ashes of his past to become the warrior who would one day confront Lordanis and reclaim all that was lost.
The battle for Opal City had left Te Tahi shattered. After enduring a devastating war, where he lost friends and allies, he found himself facing his greatest challenge: Lordanis, the one who had once been his best friend, now turned against him. As the battle unfolded, Te Tahi fought valiantly, awakening his dormant power and even momentarily gaining the upper hand. However, Lordanis, aided by his powerful guards, eventually overpowered him, leaving Te Tahi with nothing.
But the story did not end there. Kaha, a being of ancient wisdom and power, appeared before Te Tahi in a form he had never seen. Instead of delivering a final blow, Kaha offered him a path to redemption. She showed Te Tahi that his journey was far from over and that he could still grow, if he was willing to leave behind everything he had known. In his moment of grief and despair, Te Tahi chose to follow Kaha, embarking on a new journey of self-discovery and rigorous training. With her guidance, Te Tahi began to unlock his true potential, preparing for the day when he would face Lordanis once again.
Te Tahi’s battle, both internal and external, was just beginning. The sacrifices made, the power gained, and the lessons learned would shape him into the warrior needed to defeat Lordanis and reclaim what was lost. The journey ahead would test his strength, will, and resolve as he navigated a path filled with danger, uncertainty, and the possibility of redemption.
