We are publishing a statement written by Sarah Johnson’s husband Trey. Trey refused to be interviewed, but was kind enough to make a statement.
“Thank you, everyone, for your support. Last week I lost my wife and a sister to mental illness. I hold no ill will towards either of the McArthurs. I pray that Kathleen gets the help she needs. I believe she believed she was doing what she thought was best to help Sarah in her mind. I am deeply saddened by the loss of my wife, but I hope that her death can be the light for others having mental health issues to seek help.”

Kathleen will not be having a trial she has already been confined to the Austin State Hospital for treatment. If she is ever deemed mentally competent, she will then stand trial.
