As the investigation continues to unfold, Kathleen's husband Todd has come forward to share his side of the story.

Todd spoke exclusively with our news team about what happened on that fateful night. According to him, he got home around 8:00 pm on August 27th and was greeted by Kathleen who had been sitting in the living room.

"She told me everything," Todd said, his voice laced with a mix of sadness and concern. "She believed a demon possessed Sarah and that she had to take action to release the spirit."

Todd explained that he didn't notice anything out of the ordinary about Kathleen's behavior in the days leading up to the incident. He claimed that she had expressed concern about their friend and neighbor being sick with COVID but never anything about demons.

At 8:45 PM Trey Johnson (the victim’s husband) came home and Todd approached and recounted what his wife had told him, not sure if it was true or not. They both went into the Johnson's house together, where they found her body. Horrified by what they saw, they immediately called the police in secret to report the incident without alerting Kathleen to what was happening.

Todd denied any affair between himself and Sarah. Saying that both couples had been friends for 10 plus years with hardly ever having any dispute.

"I don't know why she did it," Todd said, shaking his head. "I just wish there had been signs. That I could have helped Kathleen before she did what she did."

As the investigation continues, authorities are working to piece together the events surrounding Sarah Johnson's death. The community remains shocked by the tragic event, with many expressing concern for Kathleen's mental health and well-being.
