You may know me from Wattpad, AO3, or PDB. Or you may have just discovered me on here. If you have discovered me on here, I'll let you know that this is a rewrite/restructuring of a story I've already been working on for years and is still in progress. There won't be any major changes in terms of plot, but there will be changes in how the story is structured, mainly with images. You see, I'm trying to make Polarized somewhat more light novel-esque with illustrations and stuff. Since I've always wanted to make this a manga-inspired webcomic but am slow at writing and even more horrifically slow at drawing, I figured something similar to a picture book but for a more mature audience, or perhaps a Japanese light novel, would be a good compromise. Some more structural changes I plan on implementing will be dividing the story into roughly 5 parts, (or "installments" of 40k-ish words each) merging chapters that are too short/dividing chapters that are too long, and some grammar, description, and dialogue edits. Finally, while I won't upload incomplete chapters, I may upload chapters without illustrations only to add them in when I complete them, because I'm impatient and why wait for engagement when you can publish your already-written chapters immediately and add what you need later lol. Gotta get that instant gratification somehow~
