***Sandgem Town Professor Lab***

Last time as ya guys saw how the guy challenged me for a match. Tbh I wasn't much surprised to this cuz I knew every game there is this stupid same concept of challenging after you got the starter.

Well I also didn't care much about that cuz I knew what he will use, with that puny piplup thinking that he has some advantage.

Then there it started with that pokeball opening. A tiny penguin came out with a pleasant bright effect. Although I badmouthed it but it was pretty cute.

I took my pokeball out from the belt in style and held it in my hand teasing that guy saying,"This will be enough for you, kid."

He got a little angry as I did it intentionally.

The girl(his sister) asked to be the refree. So I let her. Not like being a refree will help her brother or anything.

The battle started with my chimchar entering the battlefield(ofc not a real one just outside of lab).

Piplup use water gun on Chimchar,"He shouted.

As if I would let you? Go chimchar dodge and use Tackle!

Piplup's attack failed and got hit by tackle before its trainer could give him an order chimchar used another tackle. Piplup as a little penguin couldn't withstand the two consecutive attacks and got defeated easily.

Piplup fainted and can't fight! So the winner is Jaiden. The girl Shouted.

The match was too easy it looked like a child play and yet I expected something from a rookie trainer.

The professor came and saw that I won on which he was not very shocked. Coz in his mind the image of mine is not of like a little trainer but of someone who will achieve bigger things in future.

The trainer was a little grieved over his defeat.I guess my kind self couldn't watch it and consoled him saying some words to boost his confidence also retaining my attitude as an adult although I looked more like a kid from outside.

He listened my advice and said he wont lose next time.

I replied," Anytime kid! I am always ready for a battle"(saying this cool line with a straight face holding my laugh under the mask😂)

Hearing my nonsense he and his sister went towards their journey.

It was for a short moment although the match was too boring but for an otaku like me it was my first battle I couldn't express it but it felt really cool to use my Pokemon in a battle. The excitement I felt while commanding my chimchar was something I can't explain in words. It was amazing

The professor called me as I almost forgot about the gift he was talking about. I went inside the lab.

He gave me an egg with its incubator saying he couldn't figure out what Pokemon egg it is?

He said that he couldn't hatch it and was thinking of giving it to some breeder but then I came and surprised him with my views toward Pokemon.

Well it was a good deal for me getting a starter and an unknown egg. I thanked the professor for it.

He asked me what was my next plan?

I told him I will be registering for Pokemon league. And ya after some small talks I left the lab.

I went to Pokemon centre for a bit of checkup of chimchar. He was fine nothing serious as joy said.

I also registered for Pokemon league there. Nurse Joy adviced me to challenge the oreburgh city gym leader.

I listened her advice and sat at a table just outside the Pokemon centre.

I was in thoughts what to do? Where to start? Then I thought to myself how about visiting the town where the protagonists from the game came.

Uhm what was the name of the town? Uhh 🤔 I forgot but people living here were very kind they told me about the town called twinleaf southwest from here and the famous Lake Verity.

I was excited coz I played Pokemon diamond many times but never tried to complete it only once I did but I forgot about it coz it just always made me sad 😿 as after completing Pokemon games there is nothing left to do in them.

But now I am inside my fantasy world so why don't I try fulfilling some wishes of mine.

The way to twinleaf was not as small as it was in game so I thought of renting a bicycle.

I got a bicycle for rent from a nearby shop although Sandgem town was not as big as Jubilife city it has many facilities as it the residence of the professor of Sinnoh region.

With the bicycle the journey to Twinleaf town won't be too long right? I thought in my mind while pedalling my bike.
