Zef rung the doorbell waiting for a response. As he waited, he thought Delia was a beautiful young woman and he should get to know her better next time. He also wondered if he can train his pokemon to be the best of the best out there. He waited 10 minutes before the door was openes and an older man answered the door. The man said "Hello, can i help you?"

Zef said "I am looking for professor oak so I can talk to him."

The man replied "I am professor oak. What do you need to see me about?"

"Hello, professor oak. I am zef dragonard and I wanted to talk to you about getting a starter pokemon from you and a pokedex maybe?" Zef replied.

Professor oak said "Why do you want a pokedex and don't you already have a pokemon in that poke ball there hanging on your belt."

"Yes I do. I have a charmander, but I heard you give starting trainers who you see potential in their own pokemon to start their journey. And i don't remember who i am and how I got Charmander. I want a pokedex so I can train my pokemon better and use it to help me do research on pokemon as well." Zef replied.

"Oh you want to research pokemon as well? And can I see your Charmander?" Asked professor oak.

"Charmander come out. Yes i want to do my own research." Said zef.

Zed threw out Charmander so professor oak could look at her. Professor oak was surpised upon seeing zef's Charmander. Professor oak has never seen a black and blue Charmander with a blue flame. Professor oak looked over Charmander and then asked zef to tell him about Charmander.

Zef said "Charmander is a female. It is a fire and dragon type pokemon. It is bigger then most charmanders. That about all I know and I hoped you could tell me more, professor."

"A fire and dragon type you say? I have never heard of a charmander being a dragon type. It must be a mutation of some kind. Do you mind if i run some test on your charmander? Asked professor oak.

"No I don't mind as long as none of the test will hurt her or have adverse effects towards her professor." Said Zef.

"No there won't be any adverse effects to her and she won't be harmed. Lets run the tests and then we can talk after." Said professor Oak.

Zef and professor oak walked into the back of the laboratory to run the tests. Charmander had blood drawn, ran on a pokemon treadmill, had its head examined, and had its flame checked. Charmander passed with flying colors and professor oak saw that she really was a dragon type along with the usual fire type. Professor oak jotted down every thing be could about Charmander. After the tests professor oak agreed to give zef another pokemon and a pokedex.

" I'll give you the pokedex so you can research pokemon and also help me research pokemon as well. I want you to write and record everything about your charmander. From its eating habits, to its personality, what it looks like when it evolves, and even if it evolves differently then a regular Charmander evolution. I also have a pokemon I think is perfect for your 2nd pokemon and you can study it just like Charmander. Let me grab it." Professor oak said.

"You here that Charmander, you are a unique pokemon. I bet you are going to be one of the strongest charmanders there ever was. I am also excited to be getting another pokemon who will be our new family member and friend. Are You excited?" Zef said.

Char char char (Yes. I want a friend and someone to train with)

"Well i wonder what pokemon the professor will give me?" Said zef.

Charmander and zef waited for the professor to come back with the new Pokemon. They heard professor oak looking around for something. Then they heard the professor say i found it. Professor oak then came running back with a poke ball in his hands. 

"Here this will be your new pokemon and companion." Professor oak said. He handed zef the poke ball.

"Come on out." Zef said. Then he threw the poke ball. After red light faded out came a grayish green quadriped pokemon with a bulb on its back. Zef then asked the system to identify the pokemon.

(It is a bulbasaur host. It is a grass type pokemon said to be easy to train. But this bulbasaur is different from usual bulbasaurs) said the system

"Show me it's stats system." Said zef.

Its stats aren't bad and it knows some good moves to start it looks like. Bulbasaur will make a good addition to the team thought Zef.

"Can You tell me why it's a mutation system?" Zef asked.

(Sorry host i can not. I do not have enough information as of yet to have a definite answer for you) the system said. 

"Its all good system." Said zef. He then turned to the professor. He asked the professor a question.

"Professor do you happen to know why this bulbasaur is mutated like my Charmander?" Asked zef.

"No i don't. I was studying it to find out why it was different. And seeing as you have a charmander that's mutated, i figured you could train bulbasaur and find out why." Said professor oak.

"Alright, ill do just that professor. Could I get the pokedex now so I can head out on my own journey and discover the world of Pokemon?" Said Zef.

"Right. Here you go zef. Keep in touch with me as you research bulbasaur and charmander and any other pokemon you get. I am always here to answer questions along the way. My number is in the pokedex." Said professor oak.

"Ok good. If I have questions or need advice I will call you. Return charmander and bulbasaur. See you later professor, and thanks for helping me out." Said Zef.

"No problem at all zef. I'm always willing to help the next generation of pokemon trainers. Also here is a map so you dont get lost. Have a safe trip, and my advice would be to go to Pewter City to take one the gym there and start the pokemon gym challenge." Said professor oak.

"Ok I'll do that professor. And thank you for the map and everything else." Said zef.

Zef then left the lab. He looked at the map and saw which way he needs to go to get to Pewter City. He started walking down the road and out of town. On his way to start his pokemon on journey.
