Zef walked through the woods to get to pallet town. A long the way he saw a few different pokemon, so he asked the system more about Pokemon. The system described and gave more information about Pokemon.

"So what else should i know about the pokemon of this world?"

System (Pokemon were said to be created by the legendary pokemon mew. She is said to be the mother of all pokemon. Mew is 1 of many legendary pokemon out there. For instance the kanto region has the 3 legendary bird pokemon know as Moltres, Zapidos, and Articuno. The God of the Pokemon world is Arceus. All pokemon, besides the legendary pokemon and some regular pokemon, evolve into stronger forms to become stronger. Some Pokemon have only 1 evolution while others have 2 evolutions. As ive said before there are 18 different elemental types of pokemon breeds. Pokemon are born from eggs. Upon being born those baby pokemon have moves they get from their parents. There is so much to learn and know about pokemon.)

"That is a lot of information and there is still more of it learn and know. Hmmm... Look I see pallet town." Zef said

Zef walkes out of the woods to see town with about 35 houses in it and a big building at the farthest end of the town. He looked around at all the people of pallet town and their pokemon. Some were working in the field, while others we're doing laundry, and some even working out with their pokemon.

Zef asked. " So is that big building the lab and home of Professor Oak?"

(Yes that is where Professor Oak resides and works) the system said

"So i am suppose to get a new pokemon and a pokedex from Professor Oak?"

(Yes.)

"Alright let's head over then." Zef said

Zef walked through the town to the professors lab. As he was walking close to the lab he saw some teenagers he assumed were trainers having an argument. He decides to stop and see what's up. He heard the guy with a hat, white shirt, blue vest, and blue jeans say "I will battle you Gary." While the guy named Gary wearing the purple shirt and black pants said "fine, I'll beat a loser like you Ash before I leave." So both teenagers threw out their pokemon. Ash throwing a Charmander out and Gary throwing a squirrel out.

While the pokemon battle was going on, Zef walked up to a girl to ask her What's going on. He said.

"Whats going on with those two?"

The girl looked back at Zef. She had never seen Zef before and was wondering who he was, but she still told Zef what was going on.

"Those to have always been rivals and now that they have their first pokemon decided to fight and see who's better." The girl said.

Zef looked at the battles then said "Oh i see, i have never seen a pokemon battle before or at least I don't remember ever seeing one."

The girl asked "Have You lost your memory? And where are you from? Ive never seen you before?"

Zef answered "I'm from a small town a ways away from here. I decided to come to pallet town to see if i could get a pokedex from Professor Oak and another pokemon if possible."

"So you are beginning your pokemon jourmey today?" She asked

"Yeah I am. I have a charmander already and was wondering if the professor would give me another pokemon along with the pokedex." He said.

The girl thought for a moment and said, "I believe he would give you both a pokedex and pokemon. He likes helping out new trainers and can always use another person helping with his research. By the way, i am Delia Ketchum ."

"Well hi delia, I am Zef Dragonard. So what are you doing here watching the pokemon battle?" Zef said.

Delia said "The trainer in the hat is my brother Ash Ketchum. I am here watching how he does and after I will start my own Pokemon journey. I got a pokedex and pokemon from Professor Oak."

"You start your journey as well today. So what Pokemon did you get from professor oak if your brother got charmander and that gary guy got a squirrel?" Zef asked.

"I got the grass type pokemon bulbasaur. It is one of the easier pokemon to train." Delia said.

"I wonder what pokemon the professor would give me if he gives me one." Said Zef.

While the two were talking gary won the pokemon battle and left pallet town victorious. Ash healed his charmander in the lab and then headed out on his own journey. Promising to beat gary the next time they battled. Delia saw that ash and gary had left town and decided it was time for her to leave on her journey as well. She said "see you around zef." And walked out of town.

Zef watched delia leave, and after talking to her while watching a the pokemon battle, he was ready for his own Pokemon journey. He wants to see how good of a trainer he could be and regain his memories to know who he is. So zef walked up to the lab and rung the doorbell waiting to meet Professor Oak and his destiny.
