At the item auction I ended up buying a type-infused item for each of my team of pokemon. Each of the items is saturated with type energy and can be used by pokemon to further their mastery of the respective type energy and deepen their reserves. For example, I bought a type-infused seed which has both grass and poison type energy since it was nurtured by a powerful venusaur and this seed can be used by Hellen to further her mastery of those types.
The caveat though is that pokemon can only utilize these items after they have reached their final evolution. Otherwise, it will provide a boost to the pokemon but will hinder them from reaching their full potential. The reasoning behind this is that large amounts of foreign type energy can negatively affect evolution.
So that means only Drako is able to use his item for now. Since his fire type energy mastery is well developed and he has shown an affinity for dragon type energy, I got him a dragon fang infused with mostly dragon type energy and some flying type energy from an elderly dragonite. I got a spoon used by Sabrina’s stronger alakazam for abra and for Hellen I bought the previously mentioned miracle seed. For them, I wanted to further their strengths. All together they cost $2.5 million, leaving me with around $1.5 million for TMs, training equipment and prime ingredients for food.
I decided to stop by a megastore before heading to my room at the pokecenter to talk and relax with my team. After buying the necessary ingredients for abra’s food I bought some objects for him to levitate. I also bought some weight vests for Drako and Hellen that I couldn’t afford before, along with some toys. I’ll buy TMs tomorrow after figuring out abra’s strengths and weaknesses. I got a readout from the auction, but I preferred to talk it over with him and determine his fighting style.
Once in my room, I release them.
“Alright team, I was able to get an item for each of you.” I say and show them the items.
“Char!” “Ivysaur!” Drako and Ivy exclaim. After which, I explain their items to them.
I look over to abra who hasn’t said anything.
“This type-infused spoon was nurtured by your father, and when you become an alakazam you can use it on your journey to surpass him.” I say to him.
“Abra.” He says while maintaining a stoic demeanor and from my bonds with Drako and Hellen I can glean that he’s pleased.
Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
“Would you like a nickname? I don’t want to just call you abra.” I ask, to which he nods.
“Hmm, well there is this one powerful psychic I’ve read legends about named Xavier.”
“Ra.” He says with a shake of his head.
“Okay, no Professor X. Well-”
“Abra!” Interrupts abra with the most emotion he’s displayed yet.
“Professor X?” I ask and he begins nodding. He seems to respect the title of professor.
“Alright, Professor X. Can I call you Prof as a nickname?”
He thinks for a moment and then nods.
“Let’s just eat and relax for a while before we go do some training.” I smile as I make food for everyone.
As we’re eating, I have time to look over Professor X and can see that he is close to evolving to kadabra. There are the beginnings of a mustache and his head is pretty large for an abra. For his species, the larger their head is the stronger their psychic powers.
After we finish eating, we head to a training room. Once there, I bring out the toys. There’s a blue ball around the size of a basketball for Drako, a trio of smaller green ones for Hellen and a trio of brown ones for Prof.
“These balls are bouncy and extremely durable. They’re designed for physical force, so no burning Drako.”
“Zard!” He cries in protest.
I then take out a plethora of balls, prisms, pyramids and cubes.
“These are not so durable, but cheap. So you can have fun with these but try not to destroy too many.”
“Char!” Drako decided to smack his ball with his tail, sending it into the reinforced wall. It rebounded and Drako sent it back with another whip of his tail.
Seeing this, Hellen decided to imitate him using her vines to whip a ball at the wall and get into a rhythm keeping it aloft.
Meanwhile, Professor X grabbed a bunch of the toys and was levitating them around himself in orbits.
I let them have fun while I did a warm up routine and stretched. By the time I was done, Hellen was juggling all three of her balls against the wall with her vines.
“Zard.” Drako gave me a look with pleading eyes while holding his single ball.
“Alright, you don’t need to learn baby-doll eyes. I’ll get you some more balls to play with.” I say as I pat him on the back.
“Charizard!” He says, a bit peeved at my joking but pleased that he’ll get more toys.
“Hellen, come here girl. Let’s start some physical training for you and Drako.”
Hellen deftly grabs the three balls out of the air with her vines and trots over.
“Here, I bought these weighted vests for physical training. They’ll distribute the weight evenly across your bodies using psychic type energy.” I say as I help them strap on the vests. Hellen’s goes around the bulb while Drako’s is around his chest.
“And the weight can be easily changed using these knobs.”
“Saur!” Hellen cries out as she turns the knob to the maximum setting and promptly falls on her belly.
“Easy girl. Let’s take it slow.” I say as I lower the weight of her vest.
“Ivy…” She says sheepishly. But quickly gets to work as she notices Drako has already started to work out.
I turn to Prof who is still sitting and seemingly meditating while hordes of objects loop and intertwine around him. It’s time to go over Professor X’s moveset.
