The marble guide led me through one of the small tunnels that surrounded the entire space of the room. In order to save my cell phone battery I found it necessary to turn on my cell phone flashlight only when I reached a crossroads, so far I had not seen anything like a power outlet and I didn't have my cell phone charger with me either.
The tunnels were a bit narrow and I had to walk crouching all the time. In some parts, the tunnel was so narrow that I was forced to crawl through it. In some sections I had to climb up some slopes and in others crawl through holes in the floor or ceiling. The path was so complicated that I got lost in no time. All along the way I could feel the marble vibrating at regular intervals that became shorter and shorter, it must be the time I was running out.
It took me about fifteen minutes to reach my destination, which turned out to be a large spherical room, about twenty meters in diameter. At the bottom there were five rectangular holes of one square meter, through one of which I peeked my head. That would be the entrances and exits of the spherical room.
Raised in the center of the room was a sort of black metallic cube, three meters on each side, floating suspended in the air as it spun rapidly. Protruding from the walls on either side were five huge skeletal arms that pointed their bony palms toward the metal cube, each expelling chains of lightning bolts toward the cube. Which was completely covered with electric arcs.
The whole room flashed with white lights as if countless cameras were taking pictures, and the sound of hundreds of firecrackers exploding throughout the room was deafening. The static throughout the place was so high that all my body hair and the little hair on my head stood up and I was partially blinded by the countless flashes. I was glad I had my insulating clothing on, although in the face of such amounts of energy, I doubted its effectiveness.

But in spite of all this, more than fear or awe, although I did feel them, what I felt most was relief. Yes, relief. Because this was something I could understand or at least explain rationally. It looked like some kind of big weird electric motor. With a stator shaped like skeletal arms and a square floating rotor. It was by far the weirdest thing I had ever seen in this whole crazy place. But it was something I could try to understand and pretend to succeed.
At the insistent vibration of the marble, I returned to the tunnel and projected the marble's message once more.
It said: 'Reconnect energetic channel 1,890-83 to 234-324' and added a shot of a kind of three-dimensional image that did not project well in the shadow. I tried turning the marble and after many attempts I was able to make out the shadow. It was showing me a three dimensional drawing of the circular room. But without the arms and the floating cube. An arrow was pointing to a particular brick on one side of the room, near one of the arms, it looked like that was where I was supposed to reconnect the energy channel that was mentioned.
I quickly opened my toolbox and put on the extra insulating gloves over the ones I had been wearing since yesterday. I also put on my goggles, they had a slight dark tint for those cases where two wires meet and the spark leaves you blinded, which suited me just fine at this moment. I secured my sleeves between my gloves and stowed my phone and marble in the toolbox. I tucked the box under my arm and crawled out of the tunnel.
