-Vanessa’s POV-
My head hurts, bad. I saw Xan with his face stained with tears. ‘Poor Xan.’ “I’m sorry Xan.” I sighed, his face instantly lit up
“Vanessa!” He nearly started crying again, I could tell. He ran up to the hospital bed I was in, “Don’t ever leave me again Vanessa!” And that’s when he started crying again.
“Xan don’t cry…” I smiled,
“You scared me Vanessa…” he cried.
“I’m so sorry,” he was holding my hand and crying, he put his head next to mine again.
“Please..don’t leave me.” He pleaded.
“I wont Xan, please stop crying. You’re going to make me cry.”
“O-okay Vanessa…” he smiled and put his hand in my other hand and interlocked it.
“Why are you always holding my hand Xan?” I asked.
“I don’t know, I just feel like it.” He bit his lip.
“Bad excuse.” I smiled.
My mom came in running “Vanessa! Are you okay?!”
“Yeah mom, I’m just fine.” I smiled pushing Xan’s hands away.
“Is this the Xan you were talking about Vi?” My moms face softened.
“Yeah”
“Hi Xan.. I’m sorry that you were crying.” She sighed

“Its okay, I was just worried,” he smiled at me.
“He’s Vanessa, I think it’s a good idea if you stay with Xan, to comfort you, I’m kinda bad at that, and it seems he needs it too..” she grinned.
“I’ve already talked to your parents and they’re okay with her staying over at your house for a couple of days.” She smiled
“Thank you ms Evantula.” He shook my moms hand and she gave me a hug and left.
“Wonder why she did that.” I asked
“Because you comfort me and I comfort you” he put his hand under my back and helped me sit up, he then put his arm around my neck, and I leaned my head on his shoulder. “Tired?” He asked.
“Yup.”
“Well guess what vanilla, my parents are going on a week trip tonight, so you can sleep for as long as you want!” He smiled while helping me get up.
“That’s good news..” I smiled weakly.
As soon as we got to his house his parents opened the door.
“Hi Vanessa… how are you doing?” His mother said sympathetically.
“I’m just a bit tired.” I smiled.
“Well, we have to leave, there’s food in the fridge, Alexander take good care of her got it?” His father said sternly.
“Yes sir.” He smirked.
“Bye Vanessa, have a good time you two.” His mother smiled.
They soon left and me and Xan were by ourselves.
“Want to watch a movie?” He asked.
“Sure” I said.
He turned on some random Disney movie and sat down next to me. He looked at me softly
“Vanilla..”
“Yeah?”
“I’m so glad we met..” he pulled my head onto his shoulder,
“Me too Xan..” I whispered softly.
Soon I slowly drifted away into sleep.
-Alexanders POV-
I felt her body lighten ‘she’s asleep..’ I thought. I gently moved her head onto my chest, ‘she’s so pretty’ I smiled to myself.
A stand of her hair was hanging in her face so I moved it and grabbed a folded blanket and put it over her. She couldn’t even guess how glad I was that I’d wanted to talk to know her.
I hate it when other boys talk to her. It disgusts me, it feels like they’re tying to steal her from me. I know its kind of selfish to keep her for myself; even though we just met 9 hours and 34 minutes ago.
I know; I’m weird for counting.
I can’t un-feel the feeling I felt when I hugged her. It was literally magical, she was so warm. It just felt right. I wasn’t even lying to her when I said I couldn’t stop thinking about her.
I was. The whole class period I was distracted by the feeling, and her face.
It’s beautiful.
I loved every aspect of her, I couldn’t help but cry when she wouldn’t wake up.
A couple of hours later I felt her moving, ‘she’s awake now’ I smiled to myself once again.
