My eyes shot open, as I jumped out of bed to get ready. It had been three years since I saw Minho. I missed him. We became best friends at the beginning of freshman year. We weren’t popular, no rather we kept to ourselves. After I had finally made a friend a real one. Someone I could depend on, someone who wouldn't hurt me or take advantage of me. My Mother got a job in Europe, I moved with her because of the ‘incident’;because of me Taehyung hyung moved as well, he had to leave his boyfriend behind but they kept long distance. Now that we moved back, they want to spend a lot of time together, so Jungkook hyung picked Tae hyung up from the airport. I’m sure Minho won’t recognize me or remember me. Who would? I was a nerd, a target for bullying. But being in Europe had completely changed me. I wasn’t the same anymore. Rather than pick on me people were scared of me, they didn’t approach me rather than those snobby girls who thought the ‘bad boy’ vibe was cool. I took no interest in them; it annoyed me that they would push their plastic selves against me, and had no self respect, even after I had rejected them. They would continuously come back. Maybe at my new-old school people would leave me alone. I doubt Minho would want to be my friend anymore. I changed my clothes into a black see through button up with the first few buttons undone, underneath was a black tee shirt so no skin showed. It was tucked into black jeans and a plain black belt. That had many chains hanging from the pockets. A silver necklace, one long earring and a watch. To finish all I had on my black chunky converse high tops. I styled my blonde long hair, parting it in the middle, and coating my face in concealer to hide my true self. I know it didn’t make a difference as it showed my face normally but I felt as if I had some protection. Finally grabbing my keys I walked out the door. My mother was never home even now, right after the move she couldn’t stay. She had work as usual. My father left us when I was fourteen right after I met Minho. That's why my mom thought it would be a better change of scenery for her, not for me. Nobody asked me what I wanted, no right after I had started to fit in we moved.
I scoffed at my thoughts and finally pulled into school. The same high school I had spent my freshman year at, so many memories. Plugging my earbuds into my ears to block out the gossips I didn’t want to hear. I was tall but the extra thick sole on the bottom of my shoes made me look taller. I didn’t pull my eyes away from my phone though I knew many people were looking at me. I stopped at the office and grabbed my schedule before heading to my locker. Only two minutes standing near my locker I was swarmed. By girls, who thought I would sweep them off their feet. Then there was a voice one I recognized calling out my name ;and the only thought that came to my mind, was ‘Minhoh.’ Him and a few other boys had pushed their way to the front of the mob of girls. Minho smiled at me before turning and jabbing a guy who looked like a squirrel. The boy turned and yelled at all the girls to scram, and they did. Not before giggling and trying to continue their useless flirting. Minho turned to me once again, I looked over his face, the same sharp jaw and eye smile. Besides his newly died auburn hair he hadn’t changed at all. Minho smiled at me, “Oh My God Hwang Hyunjin why didn’t you tell me you were coming back? D’you even know what you put me through and then I find out my best friend is coming back-” He continued to ramble before the squirrel boy from before, put a hand on his mouth. I raised an eyebrow at the two and Minho turned to me again. Taking the boys’ hand off of his mouth and intertwining their fingers. “This is Jisung! My boyfriend.” He said, turning red. I nodded again. I was really happy for Minho. He had finally found someone he deserved. I studied Jisungs’ features, he had round cheeks and blue hair, his features seemed to be placed perfectly. He was handsome, but in his eyes I could see the love he had for Minho. People thought it was weird the way I analyzed another's eyes and could tell their intentions but I didn’t care. “So does he speak?” A voice came from the right of Jisung. The boy was short and had a sharp chin, another boy jabbed him in the stomach with his elbow. “Stop it Changbin!” The boy who I assumed was Changbin rubbed his sharp chin. “Sorry man.” I nodded. Minho told each of them to introduce themselves and one by one they stepped forward. First was a boy a little older than me, probably a senior. He had curly blonde hair and deep dimples when he smiled. “G’day mate I’m Bang Chan its stellar meetin’ you.” I raised an eyebrow again and the boy next to him stepped forward. “Sorry about that he’s Australian so his accents’ pretty heavy, I’m Jeongin by the way the youngest here.” He definitely looked like the youngest he had braces and was so adorable, I nodded yet again. The boy who had hit Changbin stepped forward. “Hey Hyunjin, I’m Seungmin and that idiot Changbin is my boyfriend don’t mind him, he can be pretty annoying sometimes.” I wanted to crack a smile at that but refrained and just nodded. “You already know us.” Minho and Jisung smiled. I nodded.

Minho smacked a boy leaning against the lockers, he was wearing a leather jacket. His hair was colored a deep red, his hands that were adorned with metal bracelets were in the front pockets of his ripped jeans. Under the jacket he wore a plain white tee-shirt that was adorned with a necklace ,finishing it off with thin soled black converse. The boy smirked at me, until he moved closer his mouth by my ear. “Hey princess I’m Felix.” His voice was unusually deep, and I could feel my face heating up. Thank god for the concealer otherwise he would’ve been able to see my deep blush. He moved away smirking again, and I got time to take in his features. He was really pretty, he had a sharp jawline and ethereal freckles dotted across his cheeks and nose, as if placed like stars against the night sky. His nose was small and that stupid smirk on his face, was irritating me I don’t know why. I looked him straight in the eye, though I could feel my blush. I know he couldn’t see it. Which gave me a bit of confidence. I cocked my head to the side and raised an eyebrow again. Almost as if testing him he gave a deep chuckle before Minho pulled him away. “Stop it Felix. Why’d you have to pick my best friend to flirt with ,go find someone else.” Felix smirked at me again and it annoyed me so much as if a rage was filling my body. “It doesn’t really seem to affect him. I guess I’ll have to try harder.” He said as he hooked a finger under my chin making me look him in the eye. (Felix is taller than Hyunjin in this fanfic). He dipped down to my ear again before saying, “I’ll see you later princess.” Finally he dropped the finger under my chin and walked away. Minho swung his arm around my shoulder and he continuously talked to me as I tried to process why he hadn’t forgotten about me and that's how the first five periods of the day went.
