I don’t really remember much from the ride but I do remember the men saying something about “The Laboratory of Other World Species” at the time I didn’t know what they were talking about till they took the bag off my head that had put on me. They pulled me out of the van rather violently for a little girl.
The facility looked small and cramped on the outside but as soon as they pulled me into the building it was much larger than I realized. The only thoughts that were going through my head was if my brother was ok or not and if he was going to come and save me but little did, I know that was the last time I would ever see him again...
The building was cold and the air felt sharp on my fragile skin the man pulling me didn’t slow down for me even though I kept tripping and nearly fell about time ten times. The man pulled me through the halls of many rooms, at the time I didn’t know they were cells filled with other beings who were trapped here like me.
As the man pulled me through the halls, I saw we were approaching a woman in a white coat holding a clipboard looking into one of the rooms. As we get closer, she notices the man pulling me and quickly grabs my arm away from him and starts yelling at him about being gentle or something I'm not entirely sure because I saw a boy that looked not much older than my brother.
As I approach the room with the wall of glass, I place my hand against the glass and step closer to get a better view of the boy. I hear from behind me the woman telling the men to remove the boy's restraints. The men enter the room and remove the strange white jacket the boy was wearing the boy stayed rather still till the men left the room then he noticed me, he made his way towards me and slowly places his hand on the glass where mine was.
He looked me in the eyes, “Hi, who are you?” he said in a rather deep voice for someone who looks to be not much older than my thirteen-year-old brother.
I stayed quiet for a few seconds then responds with a small “Hello there, I'm Molly... Who are you?” I tilt my head slightly at him and smile. He looks startled for a second not expecting a response then smiles back “I’m Bishop, what are you?”.
“What do you mean ‘what’ am I?” I scrunch my eyebrows at him in confusion he squints at me “I know you aren’t human, but if you don’t want you say around the doctors we can talk at lunch if you'd like.” I smile again then nod at him as I hear the woman walk up to me and place a hand on my shoulder and crouches down beside me “Hi sweetie I need to take you to your new room can you follow me please?”.

“Where's my brother? Is he ok?” she winces at the question “I’m sure he’s at home and just fine!” she tries to make it sound believable as she lightly pats my head “Let’s go to your room now, ok?” she smiles at me and stands up.
I nod as she lightly grabs my hand and as we’re walking away, I look back at Bishop and wave with a sad smile worrying about my brother. As I'm looking back, I see the men enter his room and try to restrain him again but before I can't see the room anymore, I see him turn into a beast and tear the men apart but honestly, I wasn’t scared more intrigued by how he is able to turn into such a big beast but still look so sweet as a human.
The woman stops at one of the rooms then opens the door for me and gestures for me to enter while smiling “This'll be your room while you’re here so please get comfortable and familiar with it.” she leans down and pats my head then walks to the door and turns around “Lunch is in an hour so keep an eye on the clock.” she looks up to the clock on the wall “I assume you saw the lunch room on your way in?” I nod then she smiles then leaves.
I look around the bare room and sigh How is Adam? Is he ok? Tears start to stream out of my eyes as I sit on the bed and the next thing I know is I'm awoken to the sound of light tapping on the glass of my room I sit up to see the woman at the door with a worried expression, she opens the door and walks up to me and crouches down to my level “Are you alright sweetie? You didn’t come to lunch and I worried something happened to you!”
“What do you mean? It’s only been-” I look up at the clock then back at her “Oh- I slept to long, I'm sorry...” I look down and twiddle my thumbs a little sad the woman sighs quietly and pats my head “It’s okay sweetie you don’t have to be sorry, as long as you’re alright that’s all that matters!” she smiles at me softly and stands up “Would you like to go to the cafeteria? You can grab something to eat then come back here and sleep, draw whatever you like! Just make sure you get a nice long night's rest afterwards, alright?”
“Ok! Can I draw when we get back? I like to draw!” I smile brightly and the woman puts her hand out “Of course sweetie! Let’s go and we can talk more when we get to the cafeteria.” I grab her hand and as she turns around to walk out, I can see she looks a little sad but I don’t question it.
We get back to my room and she hands me some paper and a pencil “Here you go sweetie, have fun!” she smiles then turns to leave but I stop her “When am I going home? I miss my brother...” she looks at me sad then crouches down to my level “Hey sweetie let’s talk about this tomorrow, ok? You shouldn’t stay up too late; you have a big long day tomorrow...” she hugs me then sighs.
“But why? What do I have to do tomorrow? Am I going home?” she pulls away from the hug and smiles at me sadly “Like I said we’ll talk about this tomorrow you draw a little then show me in the morning, alright?” she hugs me once more then walks out and closes the door.
