I was stuck festering

Eating away bits and pieces from my soul.

And walking half awake on that road.

We were laughing and playing, wrestling with the truth. Had I gone through the silent phrases running in my skull. Stopped dead cold by the rattling in my bones. The swinging motion as time continues. The world spins and twists and turns while we apes just hurtle through our own triumphs and defeats. We’ve evolved to think and have opened minds not for conversing and diplomacy but so that we can see the concepts of the world. I was stuck festering half asleep left for the rot to take ahold of my brain. Waking up today full of hungover awareness an aptitude for a headache and leftover dreaming landscapes full of Ferris wheels and hopeful cunnilingus.
