The Perk Fight

The plane descended rapidly towards the ground, dropping several feet in a short amount of time.

I found myself being lifted off the ground and thrown into the cockpit of the plane, where I encountered the two pilots. The wind gusts battered the aircraft, causing my face to contort uncomfortably.

I was scared and completely paralyzed with fear. Is this how I intended to meet my end? Now I was really starting to regret joining the YMPA. Maybe it was better for me to stay as a sophomore.

I wouldn't dare to approach the threshold of passing in the near future!

The plane descended rapidly, causing the wings to tilt slightly and creating a precarious situation.

Suddenly, the motors started shaking violently, causing the plane to veer off course. The world spun around me, and my grip was slipping, but I managed to grab onto a seat and somehow hold on. Then, I glanced to the side and noticed a window nearby. I swiftly kicked it, causing it to shatter into tiny fragments, and without hesitation, I swiftly leaped out of the plane.

I felt a sudden impact on my head, causing me to become disoriented, but my vision remained obscured. However, at that moment, the plane made contact with the ground, and I experienced a powerful impact. I found myself trapped, unable to move, as the pieces fell upon me. I had to close my eyes as dust infiltrated my mouth.

I got caught. I woke up and noticed a chair above me. I quickly moved it out of my way and stood up. I had to go.

I had to get the armor.

It's likely that it was destroyed in the plane accident. The plane was engulfed in flames and scattered in fragments, with shattered glass strewn across the field, yet there was no sign of the Armonk.

However, at that moment, my attention was drawn to the side where I noticed the container, which appeared to be completely untouched. Absolutely!

Clearly, this container was designed to withstand flames, blasts, or any other form of verification. It's clear that I wanted to get it quickly.

Quickly, I entered the plane and retrieved it, while also examining the heavily damaged aircraft. The plane appeared worn and dilapidated, with broken seats, floors, walls, and even the roof. I anticipated making a swift exit from this place. But then I heard the sound of the metal being lifted, and I remembered seeing Rocke crawling out of the plane. His face was marked with a smudge of dirt, and his hands appeared worn and tired.

"Hey, little fellow," he said with a laugh. "We're not finished."

"I sort of trusted we were," I said, with an exceptionally apprehensive and frozen look all over my face.

"Hand me the armonk, kid," he requested. "Except if you have any desire to kick the bucket from my hands, because believe me, I couldn't care less on the off chance that your five or not, I'm getting that thing."

"Why do you have such a strong desire for it?" I asked.

He wouldn't respond, but instead, he would slowly approach me, his breaths becoming more menacing and ravenous.

"Give me the armonk," he said eagerly, his hands outstretched, ready to snatch it away from me.

Regardless, I didn't give anything to him.

Soon enough, we ventured beyond the ordinary, where hidden wonders lurked amidst the fields of wheat.

"Alright, if you're really craving a fight, I'll oblige," he replied. He raised his closed fist and struck me, causing the sound to muffle as if time had slowed down.

I soared through the air, covering a considerable distance, before gracefully touching down on the ground.

The armor slipped from my grasp and flew out of reach.

Then, suddenly, I turned around and witnessed him leaping up from the ground before descending towards me. I had no idea that was possible.

"I have a deep understanding of how to help others navigate their powers," he explained. "100%."

"Show me," I said, hoping to get some information from him.

"Don't be foolish, young one," he said. "Now, I will take this, and you folks can manage this plane here, got it?"

I shook my head, and I tried to chase after the armor, but he quickly snatched it away.

The lack of respect, man!

He began to flee and soon found himself ready to leap.

I needed to get that weapon before he successfully escaped.

With lightning speed, I unleashed a powerful kick, causing him to be knocked onto his stomach by the force of the impact.

He groaned and reluctantly stood up. However, his expression quickly changed when he noticed me standing right in front of him, my perk fully charged.

One hundred, versus one hundred.

"You seem to be focusing your efforts on all the wrong things," he remarked. "First of all, try to take me on."

Without warning, he launched a punch in my direction, but I swiftly evaded it.

He let out a fierce growl, leapt into the air, and I followed suit. We landed abruptly, with a sudden burst of dirt shooting up from beneath us. We both moved to the side, and he began to chuckle.

"You think you're fast," he remarked. "Presumptuous, huh?"

"Could you keep your mouth shut? You talk too much." I returned, really having a generally excellent outlook on that one.

I swiftly propelled my legs, propelling myself through the air. After I landed, I smoothly rolled and effortlessly stood up, feeling a tingling sensation coursing through my body. Shortly after, a powerful blast of energy shot towards Rocke. The object landed near him and exploded into a cloud of dust.

"I've been using your own skills against you," he said. "But I must say, I have never witnessed something like that before. You clearly have a good understanding of your abilities."

The airplane was violently torn apart by an unexpected bolt blast, trapping us within what appeared to be a circular formation. A ring containing us, with one award. The Armonk. I threw a punch and landed a solid hit on his face, causing him to stumble backwards. The wreckage of the plane seemed to come alive, shifting and moving. He quickly regained his footing and came at me again, throwing punches that I had to swiftly dodge and evading his kicks by stepping to the side.

It was challenging, but I somehow managed to evade his attacks, and eventually he started to grow weary. Then, I entered the scene with a powerful roundhouse kick, which he managed to block, but unfortunately, his knee got injured in the process.

I grabbed him firmly by the neck and forcefully pulled his arms, despite his cooperation. Then, with a bit of strength from my perk, I swiftly tossed him into one of the pieces. He collided with it, and he fell to the ground.

"Ha," he chuckled, as he slowly rose. "You seem to be feeling down, but I'm not sure why. Maybe this is because you're feeling vulnerable. It's impossible to tame the armonk, so make sure to protect your vulnerable nation."

I felt a surge of anger building up inside me. I felt a surge of intensity as my hands trembled; their radiance was captivating. I took a deep breath and boldly charged forward, letting out a fierce shout as I landed a solid punch on his jaw. He trembled in reverse, soaring back into the puzzle once again, but the force was so intense that it even jolted the plane and created a trail of explosions, scattering fragments of metal everywhere.

"I will kill you," he said, gradually ascending once more. "We've been playing too long."

He tilted his head forward and began to shake it. Unexpectedly, lasers emerged from his eyes and pierced through the damaged fragments of the cargo plane, heading straight towards me. I was caught off guard by a sudden explosion, engulfed in a fiery inferno, and thrown through the air before landing hard on the ground.

I felt a sharp pain in my back, and my vision became blurry. I tried to get up, but my bones felt like they had turned into twigs, and my body was engulfed in excruciating pain. Blood hurried down my nose, my head, and conceivably my back since it was splashing on my dark shirt. It trickled down into the soil, nourishing it with my blood.
