[World of Monster are not so sweet after all.]
Our trip took us one full day. We travel straight towards the southern direction, and finally reached a location where the trees, stones, grounds and everything else came in a bright yellow colour. "Damn! This Sulphur Stone Forest really up to its name, everything is bright yellow colour!" I comment and step into the forest along with my two slave pets.
The Goblin is the first one to so excited. With the pickaxe on his hand, it charges over to the closest stone that has a mixture appearance of a sediment rock (a layered rock with some mineral deposits within) and gave it a few strikes. Of course, with the strength of the goblin and the pickaxe quality, giving the sediment rock a few strikes is nothing but an easy task. I throw a Double Upgraded pouch to the goblin and let it mine as it likes.
Meanwhile, I got no idea where the slime went. When it went into the forest, its immediately went deeper and is missing from the range of my scan skill. But over here, quite a good number of the ingredient could be obtained. One of them is the most basic Sulphur form that could be obtained is the small brimstones that could be easily found above or underground. Using the shovel as a convenient tool, I could easily dig out a good amount of Brimstone deposits that could be milled into powder to creates Sulphur Powder, a material important for me to because it could be used to produce the Blacksmithing Flame Powder from the recipe I bought.
Blacksmithing Flame Powder, a mixture component of few chemical components similar to gunpowder in my previous world. Over here, they call it the Blacksmithing Flame Powder, a form of unknown powder with amazing destructive effect. "I still wonder about their capability at the moment, because my right, they should already know the way to utilize this powder to use in firearms."
There is a pistol weapon and also like that demonic shooter, but unfortunately, those weapon is using recoil hammer and puncher like a ballistic weapon instead of a firearm. I looked at the sulphur brimstone in hand, and a new kind of creation slowly appears within my mind. "Should I make a Gatling gun that could help me to decimate my opponents?"
"Kyak!!" my goblin suddenly shouted. Afraid that he is treated as a wild goblin by other adventurers that is quite aggressive, I quickly ran over to the goblin location. The moment before me is nothing too serious, but like what I am worrying, there is actually two human adventurer looking at my goblin as they tried to force my goblin to emptied its Double Upgraded Pouch. "Kyak Kyak!!" my goblin rejects their intention, and in return, it receives a few kick as a lesson.
"Fu*king goblin, quickly take out whatever within that pouch and give it to me, else I will really kill you!" the adventurer with a short sword threatened my goblin. Another adventurer is holding two short daggers in its hand, and from his appearance, it seems like this guy is more or less a thief or an assassin. "Stop! What are you doing to my Slave Pet?" I stopped them and walk over to my goblin. It was scared and shocked, and as I reach its side, it stands up and hugs tightly at my leg as it hands me the Double Upgraded Pouch.
"No worries. The owner won't have any problem." I looked at my goblin as it stares at the broken Fine Pickaxe. That pickaxe is like his treasure from the moment I gave him, and this time, because this two adventurer is messing around, it causes my goblin to falls into fear from being killed, heartache from having his treasure broken by humans, and being threatened because of his weakness.
"You two, do you think you can do whatever you like out here?" I taunted at them. In the same time, I use scan skill twice on the two adventurers and only receive a notice back from the system.
"Two Idiotic humans. Scum of the Earth. They should be disposed to make sure nobody else would fall into their victim."
What the hell? The Pedlar Setup Ring actually have this kind of comments toward this two adventurer. I looked at the two adventurers and says. "You two should get lost. I will treat it as nothing happened." I finish my words and turned around to see what my goblin is doing, and withdraws another Fine Pickaxe to him. The goblin jump in happiness as he sees another pickaxe in his hand. "Hey, Kid." the two called.
Turning around to look at the two adventurers again, I sneakily withdraw my Silver Brass Hunting Pistol in hand and hide it behind my cape. I stand with both hand behind and look at them. "What?" I speak. The moment they see how confident I stand before them, they have a hint of shock and try to see where is the confidence came from. "Puuu..." the slime sound could be heard from far. I know it is my slime's voice, but I did not bother to be familiar with it. Instead, I acted like it was a scary monster coming from that direction.
The two adventurer is shocked as well and readied their weapon to fight. The moment the slime appeared from the shrubs, the two adventurer is actually pissed. "It was a damn Slime!" they wanted to shout as they looked at me, but my Pistol already lifted up at my sight level. I pulled the trigger, and that Steel Slug immediately shot out and pierce through the short sword adventurer's skull. He falls to the ground and dies in that few seconds. I tried to fire at the assassin, but he was a quite fast user.
Two shots are fired, but it was evaded by the assassin. "Do you think you can easily kill me like my friend? In your dreams!" the assassin charge over to my side with both weapons pointing at my direction. Then, my slime suddenly hops to my front and shot a few pellets from its mouth. The assassin made a few slicing movement and burst through that few pellets as he still charges over. "How smelly is this pellet, is that his digestive juice?" the assassin comments, but the moment he started to feel slightly weird, the juices that were spread on his body actually burns with a bluish flame.
"Oh right. This damn slime ate quite a lot of sulphur rich stuff I can guess. Now since its digestive juice is flammable and also the sulphur is known as the Blue Flame burner if exposed to fire, I guess this is how he brings this suffering to himself. The assassin rolled on the ground crying for help, but as he turned to my direction, I stepped on his chest and fire a shot directly into his head. He stopped squirming after that.

But this skill is not too efficient either. Because of the burning effect, two of the three compartment bag on this assassin's waist is burnt and destroyed. Leaving only one still within. I grabbed the short sword adventurer's equipment and bags before leaving, and move deeper into the forest. It seems like other than sulphur could be obtained here, there is nothing else. I tried to see what I can do with the materials I obtained from this location, but it seems like, except the Layered rock that was filled with a few Sulphur Brimstones and Sulphur Rocks, it seems like nothing else could be found here.
Hesitates to give up, I used my super scan for once and tried to see anything is hidden from my sight. Alright, there is actually a quite brilliant light over there. I walked over to that spot to see what is hidden on that side, only to notice a huge rock, as big as a two-storey building with an appearance similar to a crystal appears before me. "Is this, Sulphur Crystals?" I looked at the huge crystal rock as I tried to mine a few piece of it. But the next weird thing came out before my eyes.
I gave the crystal rock three strikes, and each strike, a crystal as big as my fist is chipped from the huge crystal rock. I strike for a few more times, only to see that the there is a total of ten similar size sulphur crystals on the ground. I pick one of it up and tried to weight it. Hmm... About ten grams each, it is quite big but its lighter than a piece of similar stone. Since the Super Scan indicates that these crystals would be useful, I decided to mine this whole crystal stone back instead.
We pick for an hour and noticed that there is still nothing changed on the crystal rock. It is still as huge as previously, and in the picking area, there aren't even a single dent could be seen on the rock. But after two hours, there is no longer any crystals coming out from it, no matter how many times we pick on the crystal rock.
"This rock is pretty magical. Too bad my super scan could only be used once a day." I gathered the crystals and return to where we came from. When I looked at my slime, it seems... Bigger? I immediately open the status panel for a look.

A new status called intelligence and also it had increased by two level into level 11 now. It is quite easy to take care. But let's see, the slime currently possess a total of 52 stat points, while myself is still hanging on 13 points. If I don't catch up, I wonder will the system made the slave pet to rebel against me. I guess I will need to catch up on myself as well.
"Guys, let's go back!" I called that two slave pets back to my side as we all went back to the settlement. But after half day on our way, it seems like the settlement is in a very messy situation. There is a few more Goblin Warriors spread across the settlement outskirts, and only the token holder could enter the city. Of course, with a token and a residence tag, I am allowed to enter their defensive perimeters easily, but they did mention to me that I should quickly return to the city and do not go out.
The moment I reached the settlement, I am greeted by few battalion of soldiers. What the hell is this shit going on? There are at least 300,000 Goblin troops separated into three battalions before my eyes, and all of them are pretty well equipped! In the middle of each battalion, exist a total of three Goblin Drummers with tattoos all around their body. The Drum that was positioned behind them seems to be imbued with pretty strong magical power.
In the front of each battalion, at least 30,000 of them are Goblin Warriors, while the others are normal Green Goblins. There is about 30 of the Goblin Marauder could be seen rallying the troops with their goblin language, and the closer I walked into the settlement, I am suddenly stopped by a few soldiers, together with other goblins and tribesmen.
Before the entrance, three Goblin Master appears from within, riding a kind of rhinoceros as their battle stead. "Kiruuuuk!" the three Goblin Master howls loudly, and like receiving their orders, the Goblin Drummers started to beat the drums, and all soldiers started to stomp the ground. "Kruk!" a shake on the ground could be felt.
"Tuuu Duuuu!!" A horn is blown, and immediately, all the goblin soldiers charged towards three directions, the south, the South-west, and a smaller gap between the two. In return, there is another horn is blown from opposite direction, which means, the Gobumi Settlement is under attack!
