* Learned about the Earth Tier. Earth is the lowest tier, but it’s super important! we all start at the Earth Tier.

* There are 10 levels in the Earth Rank, all named after different minerals that the Hero Alaric taught the Dwarves about.

1. Talc - Softest and weakest.

2. Gypsum - A little stronger than Talc.

3. Calcite - Getting harder now!

4. Fluorite - Pretty and tougher.

5. Apatite - A bit harder, but still breakable.

6. Orthoclase - Stronger! Getting hard to break.

7. Quartz - Super strong, very tough.

8. Topaz - Almost at the top, very strong!

9. Corundum - Just before the strongest, really hard!

10. Diamond - The hardest and strongest! The best of Earth Rank!

* Master Caldrin said the Earth Rank was first recorded a verrrry long time ago, in Year 01 of the New Era Calendar. That was when the Hero taught about minerals and used a technique called the Mohs Hardness Scale to explain how hard or soft things are.

* The Mohs Hardness Scale is like a tool that helps people understand how strong different minerals are.

* Master Caldrin says that I should "make the important information stand out so it's easier to study for tests."
