I awoke as if a clockwork toy. The 8 hours seemed to short this night. XD
Storing the bear firs back in to the inventory we walked outside. The camp was completely deserted with no signs of a tent or fire.
Amelia: This is too strange, what has happened to those 4 people?
Zen: Interesting indeed. Who are they or what where they? Guess its pointless too brood over that. They maybe even follow us from this point forward.
Amelia: Now that you mention it. You heard someone at the lake once. Then we realized Mila followed us the entire time without knowing about it. They could be our enemies at that, who want to annihilate that little village.
Zen: So the only reason why we are alive is because we know the way and they plan to follow us from a safe distance. They maybe are playing us.
Amelia: Now that I recall something. No NPC calls us Immortal Adventures; they only refer to us as Adventures. So either they are players or are from a race that hasn’t been exposed to our kind.
Zen: So perhaps they are a scouting party for the main force.
Amelia: What are we going to do? If they attack and if they really are level 250 then we are doomed.
I think we need to loose them some how first.
Amelia: How though.
Zen: I don’t know, but one thing is for sure we need to loose who ever is following us. Anyway we should head out.
We started walking north, even though we needed to go west. Walking was indeed much harder an in no time the day went by. Before the blessing wore off I built another cabin with using a smaller tree this time. It was very interesting since I haven’t gotten a new skill on any sort. It just further advances my levels in the skills of hand combat.
I didn’t pay attention to that since we had more present concern. How do we loose our followers who might be level 250?
As we walked now in a snowier region from time to time we saw small avalanches happening. That is where it him me. A method started to develop in my mind, the escape route.
Zen: Amelia we are going to scale a nearby mountain tomorrow morning. It will be a good view don’t you think?
Amelia: Hmm. Seems like you made a plan right?
Zen: Yep.
We quickly made a fire and I continued to make our cabin. The thing was this time I trimmed the 3 meter wide tree in to a ball. It was around 3-meters in diameters and the line again sowed up and helped me shape it. I then made a hole of 2 feet wide diameter to the center and then proceeded to make the interior 2 meters in diameter all around. I put some effort in the next step and made a cork that had a screw type thread. Did the same for the part it was to be placed. The lines that floated mid air in my mind that is, and helped me make them exact and fit perfectly.
It was finished it looked like a huge wooden ball. I wasn’t finished quite yet, I asked Amelia too pour water all over it. When she did that it only took a few minutes to freeze and so another layer was added. We repeated this step until it was nearly 1 foot of ice covering the entire ball. Rolled it a few times in the snow and now it looked like a big ball of snow.

Zen: Hey guess what Amelia I got 2 new useful skills. At least it seems useful.
Amelia: That’s cool but what did you make here?
Zen: They are probably watching us with dumbfound expressions as if what are we going to do with this ball in the middle of a forested area. Its not like we can really use it anyway here. Ha ha ha
Amelia: Ah so that’s why the mountain.
Zen: Yep, lets eat and then go sleep. Monsters should not bother this ball of ice. He he he
Amelia: I hope so. Lets activate the Spirit Blessing just incase someone tries to kill us.
Zen: Good Idea.
We then ate and went to sleep. We slept in that day since we were in no hurry and this would probably be the best night we slept in the few that would follow.
The next morning we packed up and started to roll the ball of icehouse we made. Then proceeded to pour more water over it until it was nearly 4 meters in diameter. Huge I tell you, it was hard to roll it now, so we rolled it until we could no longer move it around. I then was able to store it although not inventory but the storage transfer. It disappeared instantly and those who were probably watching us had jaws that dropped.
Surprisingly we could never find a trace of them, although we could feel them watching us. That is when we set off to the nearest mountain.
It took us three days to reach the half waypoint. During that time I never summoned the ball of ice as to not give a hint about what we where going to do, the feeling that someone was watching us increased significantly. I would make small caves in the mountain to sleep for the night since the trees began to become rare, especially those that were even a meter wide.
The progress of climbing now took even more effort since it was difficult. You can call it our training. Once we were out of the small woods I could only see a very steep slope of snow-covered mountain. We again made camp and rested, as well as ate bear meat.
Continuously for the past week we felt the strong gaze of someone or something. Not once did we see any monster. Even when we intentionally tired to approach a monster it ran away. I am sure those monsters aren’t afraid of us, but what’s following us.
This only reconfirmed that the gazes we felt were very real. Next morning getting up and out of the little cave we again proceeded to climb. It was nice that Amelia not once complained. I gained roughly 5 strength stat points, 5 dex and 5 agility.
Climbing up for another 15 hours we stopped and looked around everything was white except one point in the snow it was slightly grey.
Amelia: Zen you think that someone whose been watching us?
Zen: Must be!
When I saw the speck I instantly had several screens pop up.

Amelia: I got same except Observe since I already had it.
I wasn’t interested at knowing what they meant since they were too simplistic of skill. Every game had some thing of this sort.
We continued to climb however now we were able to spot them more often and we even spotted a total of 8 beings tracking us that seemed to observe us while we climbed. Every time we spotted one we would point it out just to make it obvious to them that it’s no longer a secret. Another day of climbing and our trackers even though they kept a good distance never approached us closer then 100 meters.
We finally reached the top as the night was falling. I didn’t make a camp just for the reason cuz I was afraid that they would get to close to us and not give us any time to execute my plan. While it was dark I summoned my ball of ice and then proceeded to cut around the door to open it. In 10 minutes I opened it I had placed stumps around the ball so that it would not roll down the mountain as we got it. Amelia put one of her storage places on the outer shell at the point were the logs lodged them selves to keep the ball from rolling. We have never tired using the storage device in between other storage devices but I think, either it works or not it was time to try.
Getting in and then closing the entrance behind us, while activating the Spirit Blessing we were able to transfer the log to another storage place without much problem. Just hand to think real hard what it was we wanted to do.
It was done and we started to roll. It really felt as if it was a hard roll and bumpy at first. Then it began to become softer and softer. We were glued to the walls because of the immense rotations of the ice-house-ball. It was a ride not anything like a roller coaster.
In the first 5 minutes we heard many different sounds, which was now completely muffled. The bumpy ride in 5 minutes became a smooth one that only became more steady and slowed down a little, however was at a steady pace.
Within the next 5 minutes we seemed to speed up and now going twice as fast. Many notification screens popped up.

That’s when I passed out. It was pitch black and could not talk, feel or move at all. I am not sure how much time has passed since then. I just know not more then a day since I did not die. The blessing was still in effect.

I spent around 3 hours in this total darkness before we had regained some of our HP, enough to a the point were we regained our consciousness to still see the pitch black environment. Although now we could feel that we were no longer moving. I even tried sensing outside of the Ice ball. Only to get the impression there was no air within my senses distance.
I then called out to Amelia who also recovered at the same time I did. I gave her another suggestion. Since we seemed to be deep under either ice or snow. We should take a couple days off and do something in the real world. In all, “the game play” for now is to play the waiting game and give our followers/ pursuers an impression of us being dead. We actually agreed to take an entire week off from the game in real time.
Logging of I did my usual routine and spent two days like that. I know it wasn’t anything really productive but either way it was good to take time for the real world activities. Walked and cleaned our neighborhood from trash and dumped them next to a trash burn furnace.
I then received a ringing sensation in my mind. Then remembered it was a call so I accepted it.
Call: Hey this is Zack. Hopefully you didn’t forget me.
Zen: No I did not. What have you called me for? Is it perhaps they have not figured out how to make Katonium.
Zack: No not that. It seems they buyer was able to make use of just the name and figured out how to make it.
Zen: Are you saying there are people capable of making it?
Zack: That information costs money but since it’s you ill tell you what I know. The heat involved in making it is exceptionally high. In fact I know that person who figured it out, used his guilds 30 priests to constantly heal and buff him. He also used nearly 30 magicians to make the fire burn harder and keep it from going berserk. He said something like being exposed to extreme heat would have probably killed him from the moment he began working with melting some of the materials. I wanted to know if by any chance you know a simpler method to make Katonium and the buyer is willing to pay handsomely even 1000% more then the last time for information in that regard.
Zen: Now that you mention it. That would be problematic, especially melting the ingredients; in the future I might be able to do it myself, although I have a feeling that will be in a very far future. Did he say about how much constant damage he was taking while making it, since he used priests to make it that is?
Zack: Yes he did and now he is looking for any clues that may give him some special properties. Since the damage he was taking was not just from the fire element but all of the elements. He said it was somewhere around 150 HP damage per second. That is with nearly 50% buffs to the major element affinities.
Zen: Well I don’t know what to say. I currently have something that would help me, but I am not selling that type of information. I will just say this. If they gather the necessary ingredients and when I am ready I can smelt those ingots for them for a price though.
Zack: I will let him know. Do you know the price you will smelt them for?
Zen: No not yet, however when the time comes I will let you know.
Zack: Agh yes there is one more thing. That smelters guild Leader would like to meet you. He said he would travel anywhere just to meet you.
Zen: Sure. I don’t mind meeting him in the game. Tell him I am in a Frontier Village north of New-Thorn Kingdom.
Zack: I will tell him that.
Zen: Tell him if he tries anything funny I will obliterate them all.
Zack: I doubt you can obliterate one of the biggest guilds and even some of the highest-level players in this game.
Zen: Zack remember not to underestimate them. When I say I could do something, it means I could do it.
Zack: Sure I’ll tell him.
Zen: How long do you think it will take him to reach here?
Zack: Not long actually, the leaders from that guild have a few Pegasus’s under their control. So a select few can reach that village within a month or so.
Zen: Well I’m off then.
Zack: It was a pleasure talking with you.
Zen: Ok bye.
I then continued to wonder about the neighborhood. It was peaceful seemed like not every neighbor was within the game and actually made presence outside once in a while. There were a few new marriages within the neighborhood and thus kids began to occupy the old playgrounds in the neighborhood. Some kids were adopted some born however only a few months to a year old though. It was a nostalgic feeling looking at them play with their parents on the old playground. The feeling of wanting a family like that of my own with my own kiddos downed on me even further.
I ended the day and went back in to the game. It was about that time to go back in to it either way.
When I logged in, Amelia was not there just yet. I had to tell her that some adventures were coming north to find us. Well while I waited I tried using my skills to further sense in to the outer shell of our Ice-Ball-House. I could sense a around 3 meters but even then it seemed to be full of Ice and snow, all around us at that. I continued to practice my skill until Amelia came.
4 hours later she logged in and at this time I could sense nearly 5 meters in too the walls around us.
Amelia: Waiting long?
Zen: Long enough.
Amelia: Did you look through those notification screens from the time we passed out? I read right before passing out that I received 6 levels somehow.
Zen: Oh your right lets check those out. “Notifications Screen”

By using the Experimental Ball you and your party have receive respective levels based on XP. The Experimental Ball is no longer usable due to extensive damage and merging with the Ice glacier created as the result of your parties’ actions, which set of a chain reaction, for further glacier activities. This will once become a border between the North and the Central continent. The glaciers path is 15 degrees southwest towards the unknown frontier village. The glacier will stop before at the river near the frontier village. The current speed of the glacier is 40 Mph. Further deaths caused as the result of this glacier will not give you any rewards.

Amelia: Amazing I got 25 Levels. Those monsters must have been very scary for me to gain so many levels.
Zen: I am glad we did not go by foot.
Amelia hugged me and began kissing me. Well what followed was a very pleasant feeling. XD
Three hours later, and after a bit of rest/ fun endeavor, we got up and I regained my bearings. The line in my mind that pointed the way to the little village became bolder and bolder. Guess it means we are near. The entire time we felt no movement what’s so ever, however this time we felt that our ball/ glacier changed direction with a slightly sharp turn south. This not only conferment that we were inside the glacier it self but were also moving.
Zen: Time to go.
Amelia: Yea, I guess the thickness must of made this journey extremely smooth that I didn’t even know we where moving.
Zen: I know right. Its like that time in the bus I took in the real world. After it gained speed it was as if we were not moving. Ok well get ready to follow I will dig in an upward slope. Let us also activate our Spirit Blessings so that we don’t die.
We activated the blessing and I using an active storage for debris that I was going to make from digging. Began to strike with my augmented arms, I held my hands together like a mole and started to dig up. The Mana applied to the tips of my fingers made it easy to dig through wood then ice. It took me 15 minutes to dig us out to the top of the glacier.
We were not at the beginning of the glacier. Nearly 50 meters from the front, though the front seemed like a very scary place to be at. There stood from 1-4 meter wide trees, which crumbled on the impact with the glacier. They got pushed down and underneath the glacier. The ice 10 meters in front of us was dancing wildly and settled, as it got closer to us, to almost a stable platform, which we were standing on. Looking back I could see so much ice following us that it was incomprehensible. Where did so much ice come from? Looking further back we did not see the mountain, which we rolled off. There were curves that the glacier took as it followed between mountains. The mountains that had snow almost looked as if someone scraped the snow of off them. It must have been the intense vibrations that destabilized the snow on the other mountain to cause avalanches and then form in to one big glacier.
Amelia: Zen we better start running there seems to be another big river in front of us. It seems to be bigger then the one we used to get here.
I then looked forward and now the glacier was moving through a small plain before the river. It was very big and I had no clue how we were able to cross it.
Zen: Amelia. What would happen if Ice hits the water?
Amelia: Don’t you know since this Ice is mixed with dirt it might sink, some of it anyway? Look there are some people on the other side of the river.
Zen: My arrow points toward those people only slightly north though. The frontier village must be close.
Amelia: What if that’s the people who followed us?
Zen: That would be a real problem. Who know perhaps this glacier will squash them.
Amelia: I am sure they are much faster then the speed of the glacier. I even have a hard time imagining why we were able to kill those monsters from before.
Zen: Perhaps it’s all the avalanches that happened simultaneously. That caused them to be surrounded and die. What to do now? Honestly if its them then I am out of ideas.
Amelia: I had none to begin with.
She walked up to me and gave me a nice long French Kiss to, which I made sure to close my eyes. XD
