Prologue

Twas a dark and stormy night, and when most people were asleep, a woman could be heard grunting and screaming. Her screams were accompanied by another’s, a man’s, screams. Those that heard both screams could feel chills run through their spines. Inside a hospital room there was a woman in labor and a man in pain. The man was crying out from the pain of several deep gashes in his arms that end in the fingernails on the woman.

“Honey!!!! I know it hurts but you don’t have to take that hurt out on me!” (man)

The woman could only grunt in response as the medical team was trying to help her through her labor. The man’s wounds got so bad that another doctor had to come in to bandage his arms.

After several more hours and bandages the screams finally stopped and instead there was the panting of exhaustion from everyone present as well as the cries of a newborn baby.

“It’s a boy, a beautiful baby boy.” The father said to his exhausted wife. “His name will be Nathan Katsu Silvahawk.” The man smiled to himself as he had much to teach to his firstborn child and future heir. He then handed Nathan to his wife so she could hold him. She smiled at him and everyone in the room smiled as well as it was a perfect picture of a happy mother and her child. The only one not smiling was the father as he knew what that smile meant and felt truly sorry for his new child. Nathan would have a hard time for a while.
