Day 6: The Day before all hell broke Loose

Day 6

I was relaxing in a nice mansion being catered to by hundreds of very pretty girls.

I had drinks and food everywhere.

I looked incredibly handsome my luxurious black hair sparkling in the light.

I was also Human.

And then everything started shaking, I could barely stand, all while something was screaming ‘My God’, ‘My God Wake Up’.

My eyes popped open and looked at Kaiser who was kneeling next to me and pushing me gently while saying ‘Wake Up’.

God dammed Kaiser, how could you so cruelly rip me away from the dream realm.

Nonetheless I used my hand to stop him and then pushed myself up.

I looked around as I did so, and realized why the sun had not woken me up today.

We were currently camping in the Great Forest as I had taken to calling it.

Driven out of my home by some Orc Clan. I vowed to return one day and kill them all.

But I simply shook my head in slight anger and got used to my surrounding.

We had travelled a good distance the previous day and decided to set up camp after we were at least over a kilometre away from our old home (I measured this by counting 1 thousand Kaiser Steps).

I was standing up and stretching my muscles, while Kaiser was packing everything we had up.

Yes we had possessions, allow me to recant them to you.

4 Sets of Ragged Clothing for my Nether Region.

2 Sets of Decently made clothing for Kaiser’s Nether Region.

2 Short Swords for my use.

1 Short Staff for my use.

1 Bastard Sword for Kaiser.

1 Bear Cloak.

1 Wolf Cloak.

A bundle of 100 Fish.

This is what we possessed. I know it’s not much, but hey, it’s all we had.

Kaiser had finished equipping his clothing, which was his nether cloak, his Bear Cloak and his Bastard Sword.

He put aside my things, and packed everything else away nicely.

I who had now finished my exercise moved to my clothing and equipped them.

I put on my nether cloak, my Wolf Cloak and equipped my short staff.

When I had checked a pond we had passed the previous day, I looked like some Tribal God that you would see in my old world.

A Short man, wearing a wolf, carrying a staff with obsidian black skin.

Albeit my face was still a sorry sight to look at, at least the wolf cloak covered the top half of my head, making me look mysterious instead of ugly. (Thank the Wolf Cloak)

Kaiser was delighted with my appearance, as in his words I now looked ‘Godly’.

To go from Deformed Hobbit to tribal God, is a great improvement, I say.

I was happy as well, I mean in my previous life I was an apathetic asshole, now I was an apathetic godly asshole with a Kaiser.

Okay, I wasn’t really apathetic, but I will try to be from now on, I mean there are too many idiots in this world. I have 10,000 orcs to deal with and I won’t be able to if I am kind.

Kaiser on the other hand looked like a barbarian king right out of a High Fantasy story.

A huge burly man, covered in red tattoo’s (my fault), wearing a huge bear to cover his frame, a humongous sword draping off of his back with the only other piece of clothing he wore being a nether cloak for his nether regions.

A straight A Barbarian King.

He made me very proud.

Now that we were fully dressed and ready to move on, Kaiser glanced at the road ahead of us (A jungle path) and I simply sighed with happiness (Sarcasm) and moved onto our path.

Kaiser followed me as I walked, and we walked in perpetual silence for close to 2 hours.

The only time we heard anything was when a horned rabbit decided that we should die and charged at us, only to be mauled to death by Kaiser.

It was hilarious yet sad so I said nothing and continued moving on.

I somehow knew we were going east, and I think I have to thank the skill [Living Compass].

Why go east you ask? Well I wanted to see what the Elves looked like.

Plus I need a healer, and where else to get a healer aside from the Elves or Humans.

Reaching the humans would be too hard and bothersome as I would have to go right through the brunt of the two largest orc clans.

As we walked, I began to sense something slightly off of our route.

I could have simply ignored what it was, but curiosity claimed me and I decided to check it out.I don’t know if this would be a blessing or a curse, but boy was I about to find out.

Kaiser and I inched off of the rough jungle road and veered right.

The jungle began to clear out and after an hour or so and the thing I was sensing was becoming more and more clear.

We reached a nice little clearing and what we saw was quite interesting.

There was a nice little clearing, large enough to hold maybe two thousand people quite comfortably and 3000 if people squished together a bit.

This clearing had a nice cave that was decently large, embedded into a small mountain.

This small mountain was backed by forest in each direction.

And in this clearing stood a little over a dozen orcs, headed by a red orc named [Berserker: Ug’hayar].

Ug’hayar was close to four metres, with small horns protruding from his head, as well as nearly black irises.

He looked like someone who was stuck half way through a demonic transformation.

I concluded that he was one evolutionary step behind Big Red.

Him transforming would not be good for us.

On the opposite side from them situated in the mouth of the cave were several dozen, large humans.

This was quite shocking since these were the first humanoids I had seen aside from the hobbits since I was born.

And then I was hit by a bigger shock, as these people were not human.

These humanoids looked like Nords from the fiction of my world.

Burly tall men and women with blonde and red hair coupled with clear blue or green eyes.

These men and women were exactly like that, aside from the fur they had in places they should not have been, such as the arms and legs, as well as the back. They also possessed long hair, almost all of them did.

The males mainly possessed red hair, although a few of them had blonde hair.

Love this novel? Read it on Royal Road to ensure the author gets credit.

They were all at least 8 Feet minimum, with a few of them near Kaisers height, but not exactly as tall as him.

They were all ripped, their muscles bulging, with the few who rivalled Kaiser in height, also rivalling him in Muscle mass.

The female warriors were also tall, just not as much as the males. The females averaged 6 feet, with a few being 7 feet.

The majority of females possessed blonde hair with a few read heads, their hair reaching down past their waist on most of them.

The females were not as jacked up as the men when it came to the muscle department. The females in fact had far less muscle mass and instead looked lean and fit.

They also looked stunning.

Like a group of models had gathered together.

They also had hair in places it shouldn’t be, but on them it somehow looked nice.

The females had hair near their hands, and near their feet, along with some around their waist.

Only one person in the clan was as tall as Kaiser, and that was a Bold Female, with a huge pair of breasts.

Her face was scarred and she was as hairy and ripped as the men.

She was beautiful in a different sense, a prideful and respectful beauty. (She would probably be the man in a relationship)

Kaiser was looking at me with a puzzled expression before pointing to them.

Kaiser: “Who are they my god? They are not any clan I have seen before” when he said this I realized Kaiser did not have my ability to see what people were.

I smiled at him and began to explain.

MC: “Kaiser, they are [Bear Kin]” I said pointing at the smaller men and women “Those ones are

[Bear Men]” this time I said as I pointed at the larger ones in the group. I then paused before continuing and looked at the large female “And she is [Bear Lord: Umthra]”.

Kaiser looked quite shocked once I had stated this, causing me to remember than beast men were just a rumour.

I smiled at my fortune, and activated [Hide Presence] blending into the environment.

I was about to order Kaiser to go back so I could successfully listen to what was about to happen without alerting them to my presence.

Kaiser instead shocked me, as he was better at sneaking than I was.

He was essentially a giant burly ninja.

The thought itself was quite terrifying, so much in fact I shuddered.

I would object to Kaiser’s skills, but I had no basis on objecting. What was I supposed to say?

‘You are a nearly 4 metre tall Muscular being, you can’t be an assassin’ that would just be me being spiteful.

I simply nodded at Kaiser who was now a part of the background.

We watched as the orc Ug’Hayar walked up to the entrance of the cave and stood face to face with Umthra, both of them attempting to be as huge and powerful as possible.

They stood in silence as they watched each other, neither moving at all.

The people from both sides were getting restless as they watched their leaders confront each other in dead silence.

Murmurs of disapproval could be heard which then escalated into shouting, and then into a full blown argument consisting on how the other side was full of cowards.

The leaders appeared to have begun to get ticked off at their subordinate’s behaviour as Ug’Hayar turned around to face his men and bellowed in a primal scream.

Ug’Hayar: “SILENCE MAGGOTS! I DID NOT GIVE YOU PERMISSION TO SPEAK! YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO BLACK TOOTH!” his scream affected not only his own men, but the bear people as well, as the clearing which just before was full of sound, was now deathly silent.

Ug’Hayar turned around to face Umthra who was now smirking.

The bear people appeared ticked off, but they kept silent waiting for Umthra to make her move.

Umthra: “Black Tooth eh? What does Black tooth want with my clan? I thought we settled our problems before last winter?” Umthra asked with a face that would put fear in even the toughest man, albeit I think I noticed a tinge of worry in her voice.

This Black Tooth fellow must be quite terrifying.

Ug’Hayar: “The Black Tooth of last winter is dead. His Son, our great War Chief runs the clan now. He wants your obedience, otherwise he will destroy you” Ug’Hayar smirked once he said this “I have given his message, I will come back here the following morrow for your answer, please reject it, I would like to wipe your arrogant kind out” and with the Ug’Hayar bellowed out in laughter, which his men picked up for some reason and turned around to leave followed by a dozen orcs with forced laughter.

I simply stared at the leaving orcs whose laughter could be heard for several minutes after they left the clearing.

Umthra appeared to be in deep thought and her clan members looked equally worried.

I glanced at Kaiser and saw he had a look of confusion on his face before he glanced at me.

Kaiser: “My God, will we aid them? The rumours of Black Tooth are terrifying, and the bear men will most likely refuse” Kaiser paused once he said this, and looked at the bear men “They will die should they refuse”.

With that we stared in silence at the Bear people and watched as they all silently returned to their cave.

I moved away front the clearing and came upon a nice place to make camp, barely 10 minutes away from the bear men cave.

MC: “We will camp here for tonight” I gazed at Kaiser and the look he gave me made me realize he thought we were going to abandon the Bear men. I smiled at him “Worry not Kaiser, tomorrow we will go see what happens and I will make my decision then. Okay?”

Kaiser’s face lit up in relief and he nodded towards me, before moving onto drop our bundle of gear and began to cook fish.

We ate and then moved onto sleep.

My stomach full and my mind ablaze with questions, I drifted off into the dream realm still wondering many things.

Just as I fell asleep, my eyes popped open.

“How the hell could I understand them?”
