The sun once again brought me back from the dream realm with its annoying rays of light.
Rubbing my eyes I looked around to see, dozens of adorable little children sleeping along with a dozen natural beauties.
What a fabulous scene, but it was sort of ruined.
How was it ruined?
Well it was ruined because Kaiser was standing right out of reach from them with 4 dead orcs.
Well 3, since one of them still had a name on them, [Scout Lord: Yurghaz].
I silently laughed when I read that.
Why? Because Kaiser who wasn’t even a scout class caught a scout ‘lord’.
Kaiser saw I was awake and gestured for me to come to him.
I did so with reluctance as I had to manoeuvre out of several dozen sleeping people without waking them up.
Nonetheless I did so. With great pain, as my current form as well as my tribal form was quite weak.
I had neither great Agility, strength nor intelligence. When I say Intelligence I mean magic.
I was your average human male in this form, albeit extremely handsome.
My Elemental form was uncomfortable to be in but that was also quite average.
Maybe it had several abilities that made it stronger, but I had no desire to learn them if it meant using that form.
That left me with the option of learning my ‘War’ form, but I had no idea how.
Anyways I had reached Kaiser and he was grinning broadly for some reason. I wonder why?
Kaiser: “My god, I have great news” Kaiser said with immense glee on his face “on the previous day, Black Tooth had assaulted the Bear Men cave in anger for what had happened and he lost horribly” When he said that I broke into a grin as well “he lost at least ¼ of his forces and his men are incredibly demoralised, they appear to be calling it the ‘Curse of the Damned’ ” at this point both Kaiser and me were grinning so much we were bordering laughter, which appeared to terrify the scout lord.
This made me realize that he didn’t understand us. So what language were we talking?
MC: “Kaiser what language are we talking in?” I asked him as I got my emotions under control once more.
Kaiser: “Hobbit my lord, why?” Kaiser replied to me.
I simply stared at Kaiser’s face as I considered my dilemma.
Does my language skill mean, I reply in whatever language the person I am conversing with uses?
I sighed silently in annoyance that I had one more thing to add onto my list of things to test.
Kaiser: “What is wrong my god?” Kaiser asked me, his voice wasn’t one full of worry but rather curiosity.
MC: “I can’t control what language I speak in” I simply replied back to him which caused him to laugh.
Kaiser: “You speak the language of Gods my lord. Your voice will sound the same to all races independent of language” he said still laughing.
I looked at him in annoyance but pondered on that thought.
Maybe Kaiser was right.
To test my theory I looked at the orc and his face was now full of curiosity.
Mother F***er. Kaiser was right.
That meant he couldn’t understand Kaiser but he could understand me.
That means all languages I learn get added into one super language. I think.
Screw it, this is a confusing topic.
MC: “Doesn’t matter Kaiser, forget it. Back on topic, how are we supposed to kill Black Tooth and his men if there are orcs prowling around our camp? We can’t take them all with us and we can’t leave them alone” I stated my thoughts to Kaiser, to which he smiled.
Kaiser: “Were” he said, before pausing and looking towards the Scout lord. What the hell does ‘were’ mean? As I was about to ask him, he continued. “There were orcs around our camp my lord. 53 of them in total” he then turned to me “This is the only survivor”.
I looked at Kaiser and nodded before patting his head.
MC: “I love you Kaiser, now let’s go” I simply stated to him before activated my transformation and turning into my Tribal form and climbing onto Kaisers back.
My transformation, which was still painful, lasted only a few second in which time Kaiser had killed the Scout lord.
Now on Kaisers back we literally breezed through the forest.
It felt like riding passenger seat on a car.
Kaiser had to at least be going at 35 to 40 Kilometres an hour.
Ridiculous, considering he had the stamina to run from our camp to Black Tooth’s which took close to an hour.
I simply shook my head in disbelief.
At least he was on my side.
Kaiser had neared Black Tooth’s camp and was now crouching just outside of it.
We saw Black Tooth parading around screaming and raging, occasionally killing a poor orc.
The bear men who were guarding the cave entrance were literally leering towards Black Tooth and his demoralized horde.
This gave me an idea.
I climbed from Kaisers back to his shoulder and looked towards him telling him to walk out with me on his shoulder.
Kaiser curious about why kept silent and obliged. He had probably figured out that he would find out very soon anyways.
Kaiser walked into the clearing which shocked the hundreds of orcs surrounding the location.
The orcs who were near Kaiser scrambled out of his way pushing and trampling each other as they ran.
This of course left Kaiser a clear path towards Black Tooth.
Black Tooth who was screaming and cursing was now dead silent as he saw Kaiser and me.
His men were whispering ‘The God’, ‘Damnation’, ‘The Instrument’ and the like as they saw us.
This of course made me feel happy.
Black Tooth saw us approaching and backed away a step with each we took.
As we were walking I began to talk using my brilliant ‘Titans’ voice.
MC: “Black Tooth you have done well to appease me” I stated which made Black Tooth sigh with relief and the orcs around us shiver in fear. The bear men at the cave who were initially shocked with mine and Kaiser’s approach were now taking a more cautious stance. I ignored them all and continued with my speech “But it’s not enough” and with this Black Tooth looked like he was about to faint, the orcs began to cry in fear and the bear men began smiling and laughing.
Kaiser: “Shall I kill them all my god” Kaiser piped in after me, which made all the orcs in his immediate vicinity attempt to make their way to the back of the horde. They were of course stopped by the orcs behind them who wished to use them as meat shields in case Kaiser began to butcher them.
I simply smiled at Kaiser for joining in at the best possible moment.
MC: “Yes and No” I replied to Kaiser which made everyone’s expression go from fear to that of fear and curiosity. I smiled at their reactions “You shall kill. But only one person” once these words made it out of my mouth, the entire space was dead silent.
This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings.
Not a single whisper was heard as everyone began to think.
The thinking didn’t last long as everyone seemed to have come to a conclusion as to whom this one person was.
Black Tooth’s entire surrounding was now empty with the closest people to him being us at a distance of twenty metres.
Black Tooth seemingly also realizing who I was talking about began to yell at his men.
Black Tooth: “ATTACK HIM! IT’S ONLY A MINOR GOD AND HIS CHAMPION! YOU CAN KILL HIM! SACRIFICE YOURSELVES NOW!” he ordered his men, but not one person moved to obey his orders.
I simply smiled at his actions, as it made his soon to be death all the more sweeter.
MC: “He is right you know” I stated which shocked everyone present including Kaiser. They all began whispering before I silenced them by talking “More than half of you will die and the rest of you crippled for the rest of your lives, but yes you can win” and then everyone went silent once more. “I have no desire to kill so many orcs, as I have a use for you. Who is the second in command here right now” I stated and then asked which caused many of the orcs to sigh in relief and Black Tooth to pale.
One orc stepped forward. This was the Voodoo Shaman Ghum’bil.
Ghum’bil: “That would be me, my god” the orc stated. I had already begun to like this one. He appeared obedient enough.
MC: “You are too take this Orc horde up north and prepare to assault one of the two clans. I will head up north soon as well” when I said this and the orcs began talking with each other. Whispers were being passed “You are to either to head north with my blessing or be damned here. There is no other choice. Choose” and I went silent.
The orcs all began to think of their choices. Either head up north and battle one of the large Orc clans or have their lives ruined here.
They appeared to have made their choice.
Ghum’bil: “We will depart now my god” and with his words the area around us became an immediate beehive of activity. The orcs had begun to dissemble everything that was set up and pack away everything. There mood also seemed to have increased incredibly. Good I thought to myself, if they fight happier, they can kill more before they die. “My god, may I also ask for your permission to pray to you? Some of the orcs have already begun to, but with your blessing I believe I can convert all the orcs here to your pantheon” he said this and kneeled before me.
My head had begun to spin at that.
To actually have people pray to me. That would elevate me from fake god, to a living god like the pharaohs of Old Egypt.
I felt incredibly happy but my emotions were contradicted, since I also felt anger.
I wanted these Orcs to die fighting up north, but if they began to pray to me that would mean I would lose my believers.
So did I want this or not.
Kaiser words finally reached me and I looked towards him.
Kaiser: “Accept it my lord. If nearly a thousand orcs pray to you, your name will spread. These orcs may die, but you will gain new followers” and with that I had made up my mind.
MC: “Yes you may pray to me, now be gone Ghum’bil. Make haste for the north” and I turned towards Black Tooth who looked stumped.
I jumped off Kaiser’s shoulder and gestured for him to have his way with Black Tooth.
Black Tooth decided that instead of fighting he would run away, but he found that his path was blocked by orcs.
These orcs appeared pleased that Black Tooth was going to die and were trying to make sure he actually did.
Black Tooth who had been unable to break through the orc horde turned back to find Kaiser standing right before him.
Before he could even move to fight, Kaiser had grabbed him by the horns on his head and connected his face with Kaiser’s knee.
Kaiser’s knee and Black Tooths face appeared to have become great friends.
Black Tooths blood sprayed across the clearing but Kaiser had not let go of his horns.
Kaiser appeared to ponder about how to torture Black Tooth before coming to a conclusion.
And what a fabulous conclusion it was.
Kaiser utilised his giant muscles to the max and literally ripped Black Tooths horns out of his head.
Everyone around the camp aside from me and Kaiser flinched when we heard the stomach sickening crunching sound.
Black Tooth began to wail in pain, his face which was covered blood, snot and tears mixed with his hair and parts of his head looked hideous.
Kaiser threw Black Tooth to the ground before lifting his foot and smashing it down upon Black Tooths right arm severing it from his Torso.
Many of the orcs had paled at this point and returned to packing up the camp while Kaiser continuing to dissect Black Tooth piece by piece.
Kaiser looked at Black Tooth before spitting on him and moving to end his life, but I stopped him.
Kaiser looked at me curiously but obeyed and waited for me to do what I was going to do.
I called the pale Ghum’bil over and told him to simply burn shut Black Tooths wounds, which made him curious but he obeyed without questioning.
Black Tooth screamed in pain as his wounds were burned shut, even Kaiser paled slightly at the horrifying screams of Black Tooth.
Ghum’bil was a shaking mess by the time he was done. Well at least I wouldn’t have to fear Ghum’bil betraying me.
On that note, almost every single orc was shaking. That meant I had a horde who would obey all my commands.
How nice, I thought.
Kaiser looked at me and I smiled at him, before walking up to Black Tooth and turning him over.
Then using my hands, I gave his face a makeover.
Black Tooth was now, Eyeless, noseless, earless and tongueless.
I thought to myself that if Black Tooth had simply fought instead of running he would have at least died a more normal death since Kaiser was probably only 1.5 times as strong as him.
Nonetheless I then patted Black Tooths forehead and looked up to the bear men guarding the cave entrance.
They were shaking and pale.
MC: “Tomorrow I would like to meet with your leader Umthra, I have to talk to her” and with that I gestured for Kaiser to come close to me before getting on his shoulders “Let us return home” and with that I headed back to camp.
I glanced back at the terrified horde of orcs one final time before Kaiser had entered the forest.
Today was a good day.
