Benjamin was just twenty-one years old and straight out of the police academy. Assigned to the Carlington area as a community officer alongside his childhood friend Daniel, they’re on their first day of work when they become embroiled in an armed police pursuit. But when the police pursuit came to a successful finish rather than the usual joy of catching a criminal there was fear. Because they may have just confirmed the existence of other sentient beings. And perhaps changed the world irrevocably in ways they can’t even conceive! This story is mostly being done on my phone so I will apologize in advance in case the formatting is poor.
